hi im going to take msc psychology(conversion) course from university college birmingham but i don't know my course is accredited by BPS or not kindly let me know 🙏🏻
Hello. In this case, I highly recommend that you send an email to the department of your university and ask whether this programme is BPS accredited. You should be able to find their email address under the 'Contact Us' section. Hope this helps!
The video was very informative..do you hv any knowledge about the msc Applied psychology for children and young people program at University of Edinburgh?
Hello. Unfortunately, I have not done this course and cannot speak for it. But you should be able to find people on the website who may have completed/are doing the course. Hope this helps!
Such an informative session! Learnt a lot from this. Actually I'm very interested on Conversation Psychology Course. Also interested about Support/care worker. So, this video is kind of 2 in1 for me!! ❤❤
Hii can u guided me i completed b pharmacy now I want complete my pg from abrod what do u want to take which subject, tell me scope of subject in health care
Please tell that is it worth pursuing masters in psychology from UK because I'll be taking a loan of 40.lakhs. Plus I am from non psychology background. I heard that there are not much jobs in UK these days .
You should be able to pursue this career. However, I highly recommend that you read this article. There's a lot of information which might be useful for you: www.healthcareers.nhs.uk/explore-roles/psychological-therapies/roles/psychological-wellbeing-practitioner Hope this helps!
I am doing ba(hons) psychology 3year course and after that I will be shifting to Canada I have no clue what to do to get job in Canada and which course would be best for me as my interest is in clinical psychology child psychology autism disorders ,mental disorders Please kindly help me
Informative. I hear a lot abt that you will be eligible for graduate membership of BPS. Could you please share more insight like do we have to give their membership exam, or you get automatically enrolled after completion of course? Is the membership lifetime and recognised outside UK? Thanking you in advance
Hii!After masters will you work as a psychologist in uk only?because in india 1 year masters is not recognised if you want to go in clinically psychology..so in uk after your masters will yoh also pursue PhD from uk and be a licensed clinical psychologist in uk?
Hello. Thank you for your comment. I am more interested in research and not clinical work. However, if clinical practice is what you are interested in, please check out this video: czcams.com/video/qPBMKfExKNY/video.html Hope this helps and do reach out in case you have any more questions.
Hello. I am not very well aware of careers in criminal/forensic psychology as this was never my core interest. However, a lot of people do work in the NHS hospitals, social services and police services. I came across this article- might be useful for you: www.healthcareers.nhs.uk/explore-roles/psychological-therapies/roles/forensic-psychologist Hope this helps!
Hello. Whether any job opportunities are available in the UK depends entirely on the kind of jobs you are interested in. And it's important to understand that sometimes finding the right job takes time. It's not always easy to find psychology related jobs in the UK (sorry not trying to discourage you). Hope this helps! Also, check out my video on support worker. I hope it's useful to you.
Love the topic, but I couldn't understand half of what they were saying. How do you function in a country that speaks english? I hope it improves with time.
Usually people look for jobs as an assistant psychologist because the experience is critical when you apply to DClinPsy programmes. However, these jobs can be very competitive so people look for entry level jobs as support or social care workers too. There is no exhaustive list and people find different ways to get into clinical psychology. I hope this helps.
Hello. I have heard of the university name but cannot speak for it as I have not done my master's degree from here. I would recommend that you find people who went to this university for a psychology programme. They will be able to guide you better. Hope this helps!
Hello I'm planning to pursue master of psychology from uk But little bit confused about two courses one of is master of public health and second is master of psychology Plz help me out Can I job after completing master of psychology course in uk
Both public health and psychology are interesting courses. Unfortunately, I did not pursue my degree in public health so cannot comment on the job prospects in the UK. But I can definitely speak for psychology. Usually, there are two routes when you pursue postgraduate degree in psychology in the UK- one is more of practice or clinical (like working in the NHS) and the other is research. For research, you need a minimum of PhD which people usually go for after master's. For practice or clinical also, you need a minimum of DClin as that gives you a licence to practice as a clinical psychologist. People interested in working as a practitioner go for support worker jobs (I made a video on this, you can check it out) or assistant psychologist jobs (these can be quite competitive honestly). After getting a couple of years of experience, you can apply for DClin courses in different universities. I hope this helps!!
@@tithijahan6074 That depends upon the university and the course. The best way to know is to look at the website of different universities. If you are still not able to find, you can always email respective psychology departments and they will be happy to answer your queries. Hope this helps!

I have completed my degree from The University of Edinburgh so cannot speak for University of Kent unfortunately. It might be useful to get in touch with the alumni and seek their feedback. It's important to take into consideration course modules and understand whether they are interesting. Sometimes that turns out to be more significant than the university ranking. Hope this helps!
