My wife would have “cut to the garage” at the sight of the peanuts, despite the disgust in her voice yours soldiered on, kudos to her LOL
It's cool how your kids are involved with that. I lived in the shop from day one. Panthers all the way.
i mean he has a mustang but yea
I've always wanted to get a set of TF heads for my build. Can't wait to see when you get the block and put it all together! Your gonna have a he'll of a season next year brother can't wait to see it in action!
That's awesome to get your car in a magazine. Congrats. Love the heads they look real good. I'll be ordering a set of trick flows in a couple weeks for mine.. its been a big overhaul to it. Congrats again
Andrew, came across you page and im ADDICTED watching how your putting it all togheter. I have an 01 bullett and hooefully next year im gonna start my engine rebuild. Keep up the great work and informative vids. Im gonna need it lol!!
Randy Bachman thank you and good luck on your build
Stoked you got it and liked it man.
Tadd Mason thanks again man
@@andrewlavender08 anyone who has their car in a magazine HAS TO have that issue man.
Thanks for testing these heads with boost Andrew. The trick flow 4.6 heads only have 0.1 inch of thickness in the port walls, so porting is not recommended. Hopefully they hold up to 20+psi!
I’ve been hearing Jordan from Modular Head Shop does good work. But now seeing he does work to your cylinder heads, I’m sold. I will definitely be doing business with him
Congratulations on the magazine feature! You rock!
Awesome you're in the magazine! Can't wait to see the engine block show up and the build begin! Keep the videos coming thumbs up!
The heads look great and congrats on getting in the MM&FF magazine!
I can't wait to see how the car performs now! I bet you will make it into the 7s now!
Wooo buddy looking good..had the same heads on my 2v mustang ..Heads are here when the block coming!Super cool on the magazine featureawesome bro see guys hard work does pay off!!
Richard Forbes block is a little behind schedule unfortunately
Very cool man. Cool to see you and your family enjoying the unboxing. My kids are the same, loud, rowdy, and uninterested in the car parts lol. It’s cool
Hell yeah I'm in the Tfs club 2 your gonna love them
Still waiting on my set for my 01 Lightning
Awesome vid! Also congrats on the 10k subs!
Looking good! I can't wait until it's all assembled.
Yeesssssss....Finally got the Trick Flows in......I think you will reach your goal of 7s now.....🤞.....Cant wait to see it run.....
Time to put it back together ! Let's go
They sell that magazine at Walmart here in Mo. Nice heads! And video
I have these heads. Should be on the Dyno this week.
@Biggest Richard Cranium Not sure what your asking but It was a full custom build so everything blower and all.
Can’t wait to see it in action.... true modular horsepower.
Way to go Brother!! Keep up the great work Andrew!!
Hey so I know u touched on it a little bit on exactly why not to bolt on the 44c trickflow heads out the box. But what exactly do u have done to them to bolt on. I have a sn95 and I'm looking at these exact heads.
That's cool thad, great job. Nice heads
Love your videos, I race at beacon drag way in my 99 2v. Love seeing your car run and hope to see you at the track this year!
Adam Powell thanks man we will definitely be at beacon this year
Congrats on getting published!
Just found a crack in my #8 cylinder bore and dropped off my motor to Jordan for a full rebuild of my trick flow heads and the block.
MHS does really nice work, I'd like a set of 3V heads done.
I thought the trickflow heads and cams could hit 400bhp out of the box?
Heads look really good and congrats on the mag feature for mod nats. Cant wait to see the block with those diamond 2ks! Do u mind me asking who's machining ur block?
Joseph Ware some where I won’t recommend. Sry
I have been wanting to order the trickflow mhs prepped heads would you say they are worth it?
🎉 congratulations 🎉
Jordan at MHS ported and race prepped a set of PI heads for me, same stainless manley 1mm oversized single groove valves, 125# springs, etc. He does excellent work! makes me wish i sprung the extra money on the TFS heads. What compression are you running?/ what CC dished pistons?
Man I need me a set of these.i have the Patriot performance stage2 heads currently
Holy freakin intake valves... What size are the intakes? Look like a 1.90" oversize. These are gorgeous heads. Interested to see this year's power figure over your previous years.
Nice looking heads Andy, are the valves stock dia.?
How did they work out? Any difference from stock
Christmas in March
Good video, what heads did you have on previously?
Andrew those heads are beautiful those 2v and Ls cars better watch out theirs a badass 2v coming soon
I like how you left 4v and coyotes out lol, jk
@@jreydelacruz right lol i left out alot of them
Since the springs are staggered like that, and not side by side like a PI head, how would a cam open the valves properly? I don't get it.
Instead of getting entire new cylinder heads, do you think it would make any real difference to just get a set of their valves ? 4.6 2v SOHC CVPI.
Hell yea! Finally some go fast parts. Let's get it together and whoop some Ls butt
I want to build a na 2v from a 96-98 gt what would be best set but pretty cheap
Nice bro . . Cant wait to get me some 💪
Looking to upgrade heads on my 2v. What else do I need when buying these heads? Rocker arms, cams anything else also do you have the link to these heads
They are sick WHY!!!!!!!
Yoooooooooooooo finally congrats
Will the 4.6l 2v pi heads fit on the 5.4l 2v block was wondering if the blocks are the same except the stroke
OMG...I hate packing peanuts!!! I wonder if they do trickflow 4v heads for the '03 Cobra? BTW, congrats on your car being published!!
If you have the b heads don't change. The b heads and the ford gt heads are as good as it's going to get.
@@karlhopkins713 I have an '03 Cobra which has the C heads. B heads came on the earlier Cobras, like '98 and before. According to the SVT chat rooms, the C heads are better, especially in low end torque production. Even so, I wouldn't mind getting mine ported! As if 650 whp wasn't enough, right?! lol
@@tomkjr1The 98 cobra b heads were used on a 5 and 6 second mustang.
@@karlhopkins713 Well, I'll take your word on that. But according to the several SVT and Mustang forums I read, when given any 2 identical engine setups, C heads will always provide more power than B heads. Not saying there's anything wrong with Bs, the Cs simply flow better. If I switched my '03 Cobra heads out from C to B, I would lose about 20 hp and at least that much in torque. Maybe more because I have a boosted engine in which flow is a critical factor. This is probably why Terminators run the C heads in the first place.
Did those heads come with cam bearings installed already?
Would you go 2v again? All I want is 700rwhp in my foxbody, I found a teksid 2v with pi heads for $700 and I don't think I should pass it up..
How much do they cost?
I have a feeling you’ll have more features in White Girl 2.0.
What head gaskets can you go with or can you use new oem ones?
nice bro, iam also about to build a 2v mustang .👍
You didn’t port them at all eh?
Sweet build. I'm curious, why did you choose the 44cc 185s instead of the 38cc 185s or the 44cc 195s? I've been searching online but can't really find any pros/cons of the different head types, and I'm not all that familiar with Trick Flows.
02GT46B 44s over the 38s for to get my desired compression ratio and the the tfs r heads are not worth the cost for minimal performance gains over the the regular tfs heads
@@andrewlavender08 Makes sense, thanks for the reply.
Broo you gotta start putting your parts 🤣 I just got a 2v and I'm trying to get into drag racing
Those are some good looking heads. When I looked up performance heads for my 2v, they were like 2500 bucks for tric flow with no valve train. I have a 1997 stock 2v. All I want to do is pick up a little power naturally aspirated. But I’d be better off buying usef crown Vic PI heads and camming my engine?
Justin Leary yea bro . .Go to a pick an pull an get you a set of pi heads and intake off a 99 to 04 gt an youll be good to rip 💪
Chill Will thanks man. I do have a bbk intake and bigger throttle body to start with.
Justin Leary hell yea 💪
Can you still use the same long tuve headers?
what spark plugs do you recommend for those type of heads i have the same heads, shooting for 600 hp
chuck johnson Br7ef from ngk
@@andrewlavender08 thanks
You selling your old heads ?
john john already sold
Will these fit a 98 gt sohc
Please send me the link for these pls I can't find these I got a 4.6 in my town car and I'm trying to fix her up nice u can check my videos I already got side pipes
www.mediafire.com/file/ntxjgchbo81bnr7/Andrew.pdf/file here is the single page from the electronic mag.It is good for a few days.
Plan on attending Mod Nats this year?
Steven Chin yes sir
Will you please post a link to those heads? I wanna buy them right now.
@@crownvictorialifestyle4421 sweet. I'm almost done with the timing set in my 03 marauder. If it's a 4v, it's got those steel coolant pipes. Restoring those was pretty easy since they weren't rusted out. Its never seen salt or a night out of the garage. Always inside.
@@crownvictorialifestyle4421 real panther aficionados put panthers in their thumbnails.
@@crownvictorialifestyle4421 you've got some great videos on your channel to which I just subscribed.
@@crownvictorialifestyle4421 same here mane. I have a shop large enough for 4 of my panthers and every tool I'll ever need to go with them. A trip to the junkyard usually yields two full pockets of odds and ends like the plastic sleeves that go on the door posts.
4.6 uses the same head as the 2v 5.4
Can I know why these and not the Race 195s?? Is it price difference?? lol.. I plan on going with these over the 185s..
No advantage with the 195s on a stock bore 4.6.
@@andrewlavender08 do you know what makes them different n more expensive??
TigreLoko24 they have a larger intake valve and are CNC ported but they only flow better than the 185 when they are paired with a big 3.7” bore
@@andrewlavender08 so like on a stroker kit 2v?? Reason why I'm going with them is cuz I'm getting $600 off new, n I like better than better, get them now, no extra work needed later to see more power, good way to go about it or what's your thought?? I appreciate you speaking with me, if I'm not subscribed consider it done bro..
I would get the regular 185s if doing a stroker. You would have to do a big bore to see any benefit to the 195 heads
Who did you order from?
Daniel Erevia Jordan at modular head shop
Andrew do you need my address so you can ship those to me :)
Jamessr23 😂
For what you spent on those you could have got everything necessary to run 9s. Sloppymechanicswiki.
His car already runs 8's😂😂😂😂 Why would he want to go slower???? 🤔🤔🤔
What do you have your car lowered on? I’m looking to get rid of that 4x4 stance, but I’ve seen some people’s 60’ times get hurt from lowering springs and I take performance way more seriously than appearance so I was wondering what’s the best set up to run to achieve the best of both worlds
Dylan Forwalk lower the car to far will hurt 60ft times. You don’t want the rear lower control arm to be lower than parallel to the ground and you want the front to sit even with the rear. I have upr coilovers up front and team z fox body drag springs out back
What kind of HP are you trying to get lol
brucehawk09 1000-1100whp
