Wraithbone is always so powdery when i try to drybrush, no matter how little is on my drybrush and how light the pressure.
I find that it's always the result of dry brushing, especially with lighter paints

Every time I watch one of these, I question more whether I should just do leviathan by following these guides... I am trying to figure out how to do what I want (black going to ghostly blue or green) but so far I have not found anything that looks as good as your 1:1 Leviathan Purple / Shyish Purple mix carapace with genestealer purple highlights... (though for the highlights I'd still need a lot of practice to manage those hair thing brush strokes, really new to painting minis)

Amazing video as always mate! Just a little bit of stereo sound advice - your vocals are leaning to one side of your stereo track, in this case, your right channel is quite a bit louder, which is something you might want to minimize/remove. You could do this in a couple of ways, most simply; pop your mic over to mono, or alternatively, you could do this in your editor on the audio track properties of your file (it may just be a little fiddly depending on your editor, and you may need to duplicate the right channel over to the left to effectively create a double mono track in the Left and Right channel). If that's too much bother then no worries, but I think it will really help with your audiences' listening experience, particularly for those with headphones! Cheers pal, C

When you are doing your feathering, and you wash the brush to bring the water in, do you touch a paper towel first with the brush, or do you want the brush fully loaded with water?

How many layers of the 3 to 1 lahmian medium & carrobug crimson?
Amazing work like usual! I do have a question that relates to the different hive fleet schemes you did for your live stream recently. For Hive Fleet Lotan's brain bugs, what would you think the brain matter colour would be? I can't find much about that through searching. Just thought of it when looking at this video.
What tufts do you use?
Are you drying the brush after you place it in water for the blending of layers?
I just dont get how he does this without getting ugly tide marks, these freaking contrast paints like insta-dry. I blend even faster than he is and still get them. Contrast paints are pretty, but leave sooo little room for error and cleaning up those errors is a massive hassle.
Are you putting the brush in your mouth after you clean it off?
Is this model primed in Wraith Bone spray or white? (my eyes playing tricks, kinda looks like the skin and brain are white, but the carapace is w-bone). Also what brand/color tufts do you use on the bases? :)
Looks like White Scar to me.
It's Wraithbone primer, even says in paint list
Blending with Shyish Purple scares me. A LOT.
So amazing! As always. Would be great if after the leviathan box you could do the HQ and largest unit of each combat patrol box since they are designed to get new players in. So on Genestealer Cults it would be the Magus and the Goliath Rockgrinder
