Men have moving the same way, religious and non-religious, for millennia.

@@Jamfar777 except there is no shortage of literature that stated this was looked down upon and these men lacked integrity because even within the marriage those patterns of brothel visits continued. Infidelity and domestic violence rates are at a historical lows and it was when men had the most "traditional " women that they treated them the worst. Nice try trying to twist the Bible and insinuating men being predatory on the weak and damaged as the norm. Those standards were meant for men and women who follow Christianity. This is the typical "Saladbowl Christian" concept. Picking a choosing which parts of the Bible validate preexisting biases. It clearly says wait until marriage and clearly states to divorce cheaters. Nothing "traditional" in the Christian society about sleeping around when the body is viewed as a temple and restraint is to be honored. Hilarious. Humans will justify anything to excuse their lack of self control. Speaking on tradition. A man proposing to a woman has been recognized as a tradition for only roughly 100 years. In the 1700 traditional a man didn't propose to a woman. The woman's family(typically the father of the woman) would ask the man to marry his daughter because women were seen as bargain chips. A woman marrying a man could raise her family's social and economical class because men were seen to have value. Women were seen to be too emotional to make a decision in choosing someone to marry and to irrational in their thinking compared to a man at the time.. Fast forward to the late 1800s-early 1900s...There was a WOMAN named Saint Bridget who fought for equal rights regarding women having the same rights to propose to a man. This law/act was passed and was called Bachelor's day/Ladies Privilege. This gave women the opportunity the right to propose on February 29th(only leap years)...so traditionally beyond the last 100 years men were not proposing. It's also shocking how a woman fought for EQUAL RIGHTS(something that women fight for today) in proposing that most woman today have a issue with. I'm not saying women should propose but I think either person can do if it leads to the same happy ending.

Women are not always ready when they are proposed to, women just say yes sometimes because they like the idea idea of marriage or they don’t want to lose the guy, and that’s divorce rate is high. @@MeltingOnYourMind Well, how most women can’t cook either so, it’s not one sided. When a woman gives birth and she can not work for 6 months to a year and the man has to take full responsibility. woman should pick man that understand them and that can work with them. A relationship is a give and take situation. If you want a man that will split the house chores equally, then expect everything else to be split equally throughout including bills. If you’re a woman that prefers a man that pays 80% of the bills, then be ready to do 80% of the house chores. If you’re a woman that wants a man that pays all the bills, then be ready to do 100% of the house chores. If you’re a woman that doesn’t like to cook, then look for a man that loves to cook and that problem is solved. The think is modern women hav demonized cooking and cleaning by making it look like is slavery. If a man loves a woman, he can pay all the bills if he can afford, but women can’t say the same. If a woman loves her man, she should love to do these things to her man. A wealthy man has a lot options when it comes to women, but he pick one woman to be faithful to, but he woman can’t even appreciate him. Choose a partner you aligned with
