This amazes me. People need to understand that NOT putting it on is the most realistic way of playing it, since you never put the real one on. However, EmuVR should add the option to just see the image as if you have it physically strapped to your head. I'd find it overbearing to have to focus both images with my eyes just to play a game. It wouldn't be VirtuaBoy without the eyestrain, eh?
My Virtual Boy is soldier-fixed and will never run into display issues. I originally owned one a few times, but now I finally own mine. Wario Land VB saves and most of the US library of games work.
This just reminds me about the problem for whom was the VB made. It's in the Game Boy line (hear that music and sound effects?), yet definitely not portable. It was an undercooked idea. Was Nintendo really hurting for the cash?
yeah it's just a generic filler model to represent the cart/ROM until someone makes/or I can find a model for the VB game cart. They all look like that until they have a proper model to represent them.
This is really cool! How do you get the Virtual Boy headset? I didn't know anything about EmuVR prior to seeing this video, so maybe I missed something while doing setup, but I only get a basic console model that I can attach to one of the tvs
You're going to have to watch my last video about playing Game Boy in EmuVR and then watch the video I linked in the description about getting user generated content UGC working. It's a link to someone else's video and in his video description he has a link to his Google Drive where he is sharing some of these inc the Virtual Boy. But watch his video there's something you need to install before you can use UGC.
This is the most goofy thing I've seen in a VR game and I love it.

Agreed there may be better way to play VB games in VR but this isn't ideal. The eyestrain is probably much worse because of it.
@@MN12BIRDWhat headset are you using? There's a good one on the quest called virualboygo.
Now we need a vr emulation in Emuvr😂
Yo dawg, we heard you like VR so we put Virtual Boy in yo VR so you can look at VR while you play VR in yo VR.
A virtual virtual boy

The game cart looks like a genesis/megadrive cart

VR in VR what? Lol
I'm actually surprised Nintendo doesn't release a collection on the Meta Quest or other VR platforms.
That would be cool! But unlikely knowing Nintendo.
Um, why? Nintendo games are solely on Nintendo platforms, except when they decided to do Apple a few years back. Does anyone still talk about those?
