If these violin and mridangam are some of the best, show me some more ... these stalwarts enhanced the mahavidwan's vocal renderings to such a high level that one gets the joy of the thought that these mahavidwans live in our hearts and mids. what do you mean. He always did. Tamils do sing other languages keerthanas. This concert was held in Tamilisai..Normally only Tamil kruthis are sung. He included other languages. ❤
@@ramsundaram4615 Sir, Tamil isai sangam permitted to include some other language songs. That is why MMI used to sing one ore two other language songs but predominantly only tamil krithis.

The three tracks you have mentioned are commonly tagged as a part of this concert.
If you listen carefully it is a very clear give away that they belong to a different concert. The three tracks you mentioned has pazhani playing for MMI, how could this be the same concert?
Furthermore for starters, the recording quality of those 3 tracks as compared to the rest of the concert are starkly different.

Sri Raghukula and Ramabhakti are part of thyagaraja aradhana relay with MGP, TKM and UV. I have the complete recording with radio announcement. Sadanandha thandavam belongs to this concert only but the recording does not have the radio properly tuned.
Wish to inform everyone that most of the recordings that we find of madurai mani iyer was sourced and preserved by a group of mmi fans by name Mr.sriraman, secy. of poona sangeetha sabha, sri balu of egmore and sri mani of mylapore. They were shared through various people.
Also the other songs of the thyagaraja aradhana relay besides sri raghukula, rambhakti are vidajaladura, nannupalima, sukhi evaro.
Hi...the two concerts of MS which were recently posted, are not visible now...have they been removed due to some reasons.....they are real treasures....please try to reload them....!!!
They have been unlisted. We are in the process of checking the details of the concerts with a few experts. Hope to reupload them in the near future.
Thanks for the lovely concert. I think MMI's alapana in sabhapattiku is truncated, and MGP's alapana, MMI's neraval and neraval sound similar to this recording. Yes, the sound quality is better here, and that uploader has attributed the mridangist to be palani. I think it's MGP though, could anyone confirm if it's from the same concert?

@cricketfreak95 No that version is from a different concert. There were a few other songs included in this collection that happened to be Pazhani which we omitted.
