This is the prime example of why King Taengu will always be my Ultimate Bias. Amazing vocals, unbelievably beautiful in every style she does, and a personality that continues to shine no matter how long she's been in the industry and she just keeps getting better. There's a reason why every female idol looks up to her and freaks out whenever she's in the room, yet Taeyeon stays so humble all this time and she just shines in everything she puts her effort into. I couldn't be more excited for you to get more into her as a musician and a person. You won't be disappointed by any of it and just keep being more and more impressed

Btw "If" is the first ost she ever sang in 2008 when she was only 19. It became a hit in Korea to the point that it was topping charts and became competition on music shows against her own group's comeback. The song still charts on Melon (the main k-chart) until today although it's been 15 years already! It was especially appreciated for Taeyeon's emotional singing and rich voice and she was given the nickname "a singer who sings like she went through 7 divorces" by a producer/composer. In the following years, she sang many more osts, all of which became hits, giving her the title of the OST Queen. She's really an incredible vocalist!!

hello. I am Korean and by chance I came across this video through search. I actually went to Taeyeon's concert about 3 times, and each time was an incredible moment. Her voice is powerful and has an attractive voice that everyone will like, regardless of genre. I hope many people listen to her song and thank you for uploading a good video. :) Thanks

I found Taeyeon in 2020 and she became my favorite singer ever in short time. Why? Simple answer, most great songs I have ever heard. More complex answer, something about her…. Vulnerable, powerful, cool, nerdy, funny, her tone… sings to my soul.

If you enjoy her live singing, I recommend you watch her Begin Again videos! She sang "If", "Blue" and "Four Seasons" that you heard snippets of here already but also multiple over iconic covers, the best of all being Adele's "When I Was Young" but also "Time Spent Walking On Memories", "Bad Guy", "Slow Motion" and many others!! They're all so good and songs like "If" and "When I Was Young" really brought people to tears when hearing them live even though they couldn't understand the lyrics in the case of "If". She sings with such deep emotions in her voice🥺🥺

HYNN's Killing Voice is better. Taeyeon is one of the GOAT "idol" vocalists, but HYNN is by far more skilled and talented as a pure vocalist, especially taking into consideration that HYNN is only 25 years old. HYNN is likely the best female vocalist in South Korea and in the conversation for best in the world atm.

OMG my one and only!! Taeyeon is a really introvert and low key person. But she kinda show different side of her in various occations since so many eyes n responsibility on her ever since debut. On tv shows= cute Taenggu,on radio=mature,in the group= selfless,MC= caring,etc. But the real side of her is always on the stage singing. So I don't think anyone can easily judge her if only seeing one side of her. Even in music,Taeyeon is more a type of challenging new things and show different concepts. It's really rare for an artist that 16 years now her heart and intentions remain the same. I love her so much and can't thank her enough for insisting and not giving up.Thank you guys so much for the reactions💕✨💙
She's incredible, really 👑. There's no one like her in K-pop. She not only has one of the most commercially successful K-pop careers of all time, but she's one of the few truly artistic idols out there, one of the best K-pop vocalists of all time, and as the leader and main vocalist of Girls' Generation, she's had incredible impact on the genre and has inspired generations of K-pop idols to start their own careers.

Only when I watched this Killing Voice and then binge watched every single one of her solo M/V's, only then did I understand why she's called King Taeyeon. An absolute vocal talent, just gorgeous music.

You need to go to taeyeon concert once in a life time, it’s everything. Taeyeon is not just a really good singer but she also a great dancer and entertainer, not to talk about her personality that is the second thing after her voice that made me stay here with her for 15 years.

About 'Happy' that song was supposed to be released on her birthday last March 9, 2020 but her father died on that date so the release was delayed. That's why it's kind of a sad song for her fans and it always makes us tear up when we hear that song.

King Taeyeon has had many amazing albums and hits since, but there is a reason why "My Voice", her first full album from 2017 remains to this day one of my favorite solo albums ever (even outside of the "k-pop bubble"). every song is a no-skip and i think the album is an absolute masterpiece in and of itself, imo the best official first full album Taeyeon could've ever put out. it is a great example of Taeyeon's versatility, both in her voice as well as genres and tempos. every single song is completely unique and different from the other, but they all still manage to make one cohesive and majestic union, telling a story that only her voice could guide us through. it shows the best of her, it's Taeyeon's voice in its full glory and greatness and, aside from MVs and all, i'd highly recommend you listen through it as an introduction to the amazing world of Taeyeon's solo works.
This is why Taeyeon is my ultimate bias in Kpop. I've been a fan of hers since her debut in SNSD, and honestly, I never regret supporting her. The talent that she has? MAJESTIC. And she is humble as well. Liiike yes, QUEEN LEGEND

Taeyeon's is THE VOICE and 'I' is THE SONG that kidnapped me and dragged me down the K-Pop Rabbit-hole in 2015 (that was her solo debut). I will forever be grateful to her for that.
If that had not happened, I may not have ever come across my Ult Group, DreamCatcher (I am head-over-heels OT7). I may never have become aware of my Ult Bias, Wendy (I was OT5 for RV until Wendy had her comeback...she floored me and made me cry with her absolute commitment and determination to make her fans so happy).

As someone who was so fortunate enough to see her concert recently, yes this is 100% live lol though I agree she sounds exactly like the studio versions, and even better so live without post production touch ups. You should see her concert performances and fancams if you get the chance to, because those are a whole other experience to listen to. To think that the staff and crew in the studio only heard her voice. No music is played in the studio, it only comes in through the artist's in-ear.

Taeyeon is one of the best female vocalists of our generation, one of the best at conveying emotion through her songs, especially the ballads (much like IU). Drawing Our Moments is probably one of my favorite songs. One day I hope to see her live, but this is probably going to require traveling to Asia to do so lol

I attended her concert last July..imagine that experience, my ears was blessed. I can't even explain it in words.. I said before that I should atleast watch her once live but after that concert, girl, I can't move on and want more!! Listening to her sing live was out of this world..
