grew up a few miles from the track,as a kid I could hear the races every friday and saturday from my house.....its in my blood.
where was capital raceway?
Call me 'Old School', but it was great when you could recognize what the car was represented. Glad to have experienced those 'Kick-Ass' days!😅
I know that I was there when this was filmed, my fathers E/Altered with the Ford straight six BEFORE the Hybrid cylinder head comes onscreen at 2:03!
So cool takes me back I'm glad I kept my Hotrod mags got a picture of DonGartlis doing a fire burnout which has been illegal for years
I remember seeing the Chi-Town-Hustler at Freemont back then. Somebody filmed his burn-out, and to this day, the smokeyest, longest burn-out ever !
I used to hit every big funny car meet at Capitol. I was most likely there.
