Toney is a small man for a HW.......and Mike didnt do great against the few smaller guys he fought, he was far more accomplished at beating bigger men. I think back to the Buster Mathis JR fight........a smaller man with an awkward style, made it quite difficult for Mike......and Buster Mathis JR is NO James Toney. I think he would have frustrated Mike to boiling point and I think he would mocked him too and made him feel stupid for missing so much......at which point Mike would loose all sense of self control and a disciplined and 'slippery' Toney would beat Mike on points or a late rounds TKO.
