Exactly, he was really the embodiment of a heel especially in the early 2000s I almost brings a tear to my eye because my man is getting old on us 😮💨he’s been cooking lately with the WWE I’m so proud of him and happy to see how far he’s came
I can’t relate with his attitude era day but I can with his ruthless aggression days which make me respect him even more now

Paul Levesque/ Tripple H was my boss at Golds Gym Nashua NH in 1993-94. I did a trade out membership. He was such a nice human being. He was always watching his street matches to study how he could make his wrestling better. I saw him after he turned into Tripple H and he was with Chyna at the gym. He still acknowledged me and said hey how are you doing? So humble. Great person.

Awesome story. Watched the man's whole career. Hated him and his sledgehammer but thankful for him now. WWE is doing really well still. I was worried in the late 2000s and early 2010s.

I bumped into HHH at rest stop on rt 91 in CT couple years ago, shortly after his health scare.
He with his family & I with my family.
We looked at each other.
I asked, "Are you?"
He replied, "Yup."
I asked, "How you feeling?"
His whole persona kind of changed. He was so grateful. We chatted a bit, shook hands & parted ways.
He's a great guy.
So happy he has WWE back on track.

Why are the Pro Wrestlers some of the nicest, respectful people on this show?
It's part of how they have to work. When they're in the ring it's all about trust and respect for your opponent, because you're doing dangerous things with them where either of you could get seriously hurt.

Don't take this modern era of WWE for granted, folks. It's been firing on all cylinders for a few years now, and it will definitely be a time period that people look back on fondly.
It seemed like Vince only wanted one or two people over at a time in more recent years and didn't let everyone get over. Triple H, however, has gotten so many people over. It reminds me of the late '90s and '00s in that regard. It's wild how much more successful WWE has gotten with Triple H at the helm. They were always very financially successful because of TV rights deals, however Triple H has gotten them their mainstream cache back. I thought casual wrestling fans were long gone, however it seemed like they flocked back to WWE overnight. Look at their crowds and it's every walk of life.

Much love n respect to HHH. His brother n law Shane Mcmahon shoe game was always iconic n special.
We’re both born in 1969- he’s 41/2 months older. We have similar memories growing up in the 70s and 80s, Paul growing up in New Hampshire and me growing up in Connecticut. He was a Celtics fan, as he mentioned, and I still am a 76ers fan. Paul made some good choices with the kicks.

Ppl always think of The Rock and Austin as staples of the Attitude Era. Which they were 1a and 1b but HHH played a giant part of that as well.
Exactly Rock and Austin may have been equally the two most over faces ever but they needed a heel to dance with too who could hold their own. I almost hated triple H almost as much as I loved the Rock.
every great champion needs a villain to overcome. triple H played that role perfectly. even after austin and rock, he kept being a villain to cena, batista, even seth rollins. legend.

What he’s done since taking over creative has brought a renaissance to the world of pro wrestling as a whole. Great to see him still around and involved. Also, Joe has got to be one of my favorite hosts for any interview show. Always asks great questions and seems genuinely interested in every answer he gets.

I will be 100. I never really liked Triple H and I grew up during the WWE attitude, era etc. but I would say he is definitely one of the top most respected wrestlers in the game.
He's definitely up there with The Undertaker, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, etc.
That must be so intimidating and such an honour at the same time.
