It's the same reason he doesn't say shit about Bird beating Jordan. Currys Team were always way better. 2015 you had LeBron against Curry, Thompson, Iguodala, and Green. 2016 everyone was there, LeBron won. 2017 GS had Durant and 2018 LeBron was alone again. LeBron had the worse team 4 times and won 1, MJ had the better team 2 times and won 1. There is a clear difference.

Still not enough to top MJ though.
As for LBJ winning against the warriors, don't forget they missed Bogut and Green one games each on that series. That was not complete warriors.
Also, LBJ first 2 rings happened because he decided to join an already stacked team in Miami. LBJ also had at least 2 all-stars in his team from that point onwards. MJ only had Pippen. You can argue that LBJ may have faced better teams but at the same time he had better help. That is the difference between the two.

This narrative was started by Lebron fans. They’re the dumbest fans in the history of sports. In a sad attempt to diminish Jordan’s accomplishments they are actually hurting Lebron legacy but they’re too stupid to realize it 😂If it’s a bad thing or not a big deal if you beat a old team what does losing to old teams do for your legacy? Lebron has lost to an aging Celtics team in 2010 after leading 2-1. ( played awful next 3 games so no it wasn’t his team ). Was held to 17ppg vs the 2nd oldest team to win the Finals 2011 Mavs and Bron had the best roster in the NBA at the time. Got beat by a record margin by an old Spurs team with the team he promised to win 8 rings with 😂. BTW Bronsexuals what does it do to your legacy when you’re the oldest team to win a ring ? Jordan and the 98 Bulls are the oldest team to win a chip. Pippen was having back issues. MJ scored more points than the entire bulls team in game 6 to seal the deal.

I dont even get it why Nick never considered the Badboy Pistons as a superteam and can be directly compared on how the 1st title run of GSW became a superteam. Superteam doesnt only mean bunch of all-stars and superstars, Superteams with fluid chemistry is an automatic superteam too.

Grew up in Cleveland and my brother, some friends and I once drove down to Pittsburgh to watch the Virginia Squires vs the Pittsburgh Pipers. We knew about Dr. J, but talked about Connie Hawkins all the way home. lol The era from Magic/Bird to Ginobli/Duncan was by far the peak afa as team play and 'stay outta the paint' goes.
That being said today's game takes alot of unfair criticism. Alot of today's roster fillers would have dominated the league back then. There are 6'11" WBs draining 3s at a 40% clip, passes so true they're truth. The eye test alone will tell you today's players are simply bigger, faster, stronger and shoot better than the Golden Age guys.
The 3 wasn't as much of a weapon back then like it is now. The greats will always be the greats, but the game has evolved and changed. MJ is still the GOAT, though. He would've dominated today's game, too.
