This is why LeFlop's points total isn't impressive. Any who is 6'8" and at least slightly athletic could score the types of baskets he typically gets. Dunking/layups on an unprotected rim.
I watched highlights from him passing Malone. One of the highlights (might be the actual bucket to pass the Mailman) he catches the ball (travels) and dunks or does a layup( i dont remember how it went in.)
What I do remember is: There are two defenders that just stand there. Literally as if it were a layup drill in practice. Barely moved a muscle.
Now compare that to Jordan going around Oakley and another knick, and dunking over the top of Ewing. Or watch a full game from the ECF against the Bad Boys in 89 and 90. Then realise Jordan averaged 29.7 in 89ECF and over 32ppg in 90ECF while being hammered by the (arguably) dirtiest team in NBA history.

If LeBron had stayed in Cleveland and then won 3 chips and an asterisk then he may have a case of top 2-5 players of all time, but he didn’t. 1:08-1:12 LBJ groupies everywhere can relate to that feeling, look at him struggling to find an answer. Take a look in the mirror LBJ fans, that is really you.
They never have a case for LBJ over MJ’s accomplishments. There’s a reason why they call his era “weak”, that he had a “superteam” bc it’s the only way for them to convince themselves those accolades mean nothing. That’s why you also see them make up pointless criteria for the goat title that favors LBJ. I mean take a look at this...
    Finals losses
    Less first round losses
    Accumulative stats
    “What if” scenarios
I’m sure there’s more but look at that, I’ve never heard LBJ fans praise a guy like Karl Malone for having 3 finals losses, boosting him up bc he lost to MJ twice, having more points than him, being 2nd all time (at the time) in scoring. That’s not a goat
case, only until LBJ came in the league and started racking up stats, having more shortcomings than wins is when shit flipped.

Most NBA fans probably couldn't name half of the 91-93 roster. Bron would still be a great player but not as great....for as long. Why? Because his greatest strength his size and speed wouldn't be as great an advantage under the rules and style on NBA play. He could not play bully ball as effectively. Why isn't Kobe Bryant the Goat. He Three peated and did a repeat.
Well Jordan three peated. Took a year off. three peated (AGAIN)
Lebron repeated once. Beat the Warriors 1/4 times. And got a BIG* Astericks Bubble Championship. He's lost more than he's won. He's had more help. He's taken a longer time to do it. Not only are total accumulative stats not a good measure of how good a player is, you can even make a case that averages can also be very misleading because they highly depend on an era in which player is playing. Luka Doncic has better stats than Kobe. Jokic has better stats than Shaq. Giannis has probably the best stats since Wilt. But it is obvious that these 3 guys are not better.

If you were to debate this topic like professionally MJs case would win every time. The cons for Mj dont compare to the cons for lebron. and heres why. these are all the things you can say about lebron james either big or small arguements. Played in a weaker conference, played with many all stars and formed his own teams, played in a less physical era, 2011 finals, beat a young okc team in 2012, lost to a aging spurs team, got saved by ray allen in 2013, the 2020 bubble, 2019 season, 2021 season, never won a DPOY, doesnt give 100% on defense, takes plays off, free throw shooting is sus, his mentality at times, calling himself the goat, played in a less defensive era, played in a era where stats are proven to be inflated, leaves his teams high and dry after he dips, can critique some of his accolades that he doesnt have. Theres probably more little jabs you can take a lebrons career and im not saying they truly matter in any way but at the same time you cant really say too much about jordan and his career. Like bro cmon this man MJ literally played 2 years in college, didnt play his 2nd season due to injury, retired for a season and a half and still accomplished all those things within just 13 seasons like cmon bro imagine what MJ wouldve done without getting hurt and retiring literally in the middle of his prime. its just different bro.
