Yeah, when you get to that 135 proof stuff... that will clear your sinuses and uncurl your curlies. And the alcohol level is so unlike what most of us are used to that you will drink what you think is "I should have a buzz" amount, and realize you can't walk and there is a good chance you'll be spending the evening laying in the bathtub.

As a Tennesseean I was raised on Moonshine. It was medicine, sleep medicine, and of course to get drunk. Now that I’m older I stick to Apple Pie flavored shine bcuz I’m too old to handle the 180 proof straight off the coon’s pecker shine, but when I was a teenager it put hairs on my chest at an early age 😂

It's hard to find the really good moonshine since everyone has seems to have their own "distillery". I remember one old timer that was like Mister Wizard when it came to shine. I mean, he had it down to a fine science. It came in two proofs: 90proof and "OH-MY-GAWD!"proof. The latter was so strong that if you put in a jar and set it on top of the hood of a truck (an hour later), there would be no paint where it was sitting. Just shiny metal.
@@keithmays8076 - My Papaw always went to this Indian that lived in a cabin in the woods. He had something wrong with his skin pigmentation to where he’d he dark and then have white spots on certain areas so it make him look like a deer fawn which is what everyone called him “Fawn” great man though he’d tell me all sorts of stories when my Papaw and Dad would go see him. He’s make me Indian bread and everything. My Papaw traded furs that’s what we’d trade him with. But sadly, that was back in the day, and all the old timers like that have passed away. Now you can only buy the weak store stuff.

I bet the panty dropper along with the other blends would be used in either mixed drinks or hunch punch bowls. I bet the sweetness keeps you from understanding how much alcohol you have consumed and thats why its called the panty dropper. It should be wake up with a oh no what have I done face.

I like Sugarlands shine out of all these flavored shine companies, ole smoky alright can get a lil artificial n too sweet but I'll have to try these guys I ever see some minis to try some different flavors. Still think its weird having spent years in real Appalachia that they call this shine. Realist shine I've tried was from an 80 year old granny who'd hit the bluegrass festival scene with shine to sell. Some real 160 proof apple pie and cherry pie shine, a few of the cherries out of it would get the average person a bit fucked. Miss the real deal but I'm also not in my 20s anymore and cool with bourbon and rum.
Mix the chocolate with the banana at a 1:1. If you prefer a taste over the other, just adjust the ratio.
For the next craft brew review, you should make a video trying beers from north coast brewing company

Im sorry, but anything below say 90 proof or theres about shouldn't legally be allowed to be called moonshine. I get it, this is the legal alternative. But you have to keep some kind of standard. If you go to the 'shine man and ask for something 30 or so proof, you are going to get laughed off the property.
