I hope they keep making songs with vocals every once in a while. Have the occasional vocals be an artistic choice and not a necessity (like they are in most music)

I remember hearing this album over and over and over. I had a break up with my ex that was a year and a half. I would always weep tears and this song would always repeat for myself. This album really helped me move on from my relationship and for that I thank you!!

This song, dare I say, should have a story-like music video?
The vocals into lush interludes and back to chorus vocals and riffs just creates such a visual landscape in my mind of personal memories. How you see yourself change over time. You persevere through life, many events change you, for better or for worse as you gain more clarity of who you are. Ever so often in these moments of lingering memories you look back, and you instead see yourself in a different light as if you are on the other side of the one way mirror to yourself.

I was just nonchalantly reading through "happy birthday" messages and for some reason this song kinda made me have an extremely vivid flashback of my entire life and how I got to this point... pretty intense, and Im not even an emotional person. This song would go perfect with a montage vid or personal slideshow.. It would be cool if they made an official vid.

chon is a lesson of life: you hear a chon song with the vocals and you're like oh wow that is actual perfection. and then you dig deeper and find there are only a handful of chon songs with vocals, and while the sea of chon songs without vocals are still great, its still not as good. life. idk.

I remember hearing this song at south by so what in grand prairie tx before they released it and I had never heard vocals in chon before and I was blown away. I left shortly after their set and didnt regret missing the rest of the day. this song was what I paid to see even tho I didnt know it at the gate.

there is one tiny little thing that makes a HUGE difference between this version and the ep version. this version is still super awesome but the older one the drummer plays with an open high hat which just makes it soo much groovier and makes it impossible not to bob your head to it. bummed they changed it but this version still kills

I always thought of him referring to enlightenment and how we're so attached to the 3rd dimensional reality that we experience as humans that we think that's the only aspect of reality. Harmonies do tend to take away from an individualized tone. Maybe they wanted to really punch through his natural singing voice...I mean that's where his appeal is...he's got that earthy/real sound
