I love how it's incredibly obvious that Faelantern was NOT playtested with only 1 Sinner (because it was a Railway boss, and who in their right mind would actually try to do solo Railway), but when the boss made its way over to the Mirror Dungeons, it has been exposed for the monstrosity of code that it is and any solo attempts on it are always incredibly confusing.
Of all the Limbus Spaghetti Moments, this might be THE Spaghetti fight. It's not just solos, by the way, I've had Faelantern bugged to fuck and back on completely normal runs. Anything out of the ordinary fucks it up. Glimpse of Flames doing too much damage? Both of its parts become broken and untargettable, completely skipping a turn. Had Thrill? Big mistake bozo, its bodypart UI no longer works and my 7 Faust doesn't even get her coinpower conditionals (cause I guess the game doesn't recognize all the rupture on its body???) Running a smaller number of sinners? The charm targeting doesn't know what to do and bugs the whole thing out. Hell, even completely normal runs without YUGE NUMBERS where I fielded all 6 IDs had some hiccups, skipped turns, bugged targeting etc. Peak ludonarrative tbh really makes me feel like I'm lost in the misty woods of spaghetti code together with my sinners...
ok so for the way it is the charm always procs 3 turn (yes i know you figured it out and stuff but sayin) and you kinda have to kill the fairy on the turn you are getting charmed cus i guess the funky code of the game just bugs and make it leave to prevent bugs or just loses the fight for some reason and you either have to kill the fairy via. [bleed,rupture dmg from lured attacks,burn,sinking same as rupture] if you in anyway shape or form miss it or dont do it you just lose but on funny note of things the sin affinitys/ego resources do remain after *defeat* and hp of the sinner so you can acually farm for egos or heal if you get bad rng on this fight (had to acually figure it out on my mariachi sinclair solo and god it was painfull and you acually have to look for all the status dmg types and count turns for the boss thank you pm) hope it helped and i know english bad stay strong kurwa team
