    "Andre Galvao is one of the greatest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes of all time, with 6 IBJJF World Championship titles, 10 IBJJF Pan American Championships, and 6 ADCC World Championship titles (4x as the ADCC Super Fight Champion). He received his black belt from Luis “Careca” Dagmar, having also worked extensively with Fernando Terere. Galvão is also a former mixed martial artist, with an MMA record of 5-2-0 before he retired to lead the Atos Jiu-Jitsu Academy's Headquarters in San Diego, California. Today, Atos is considered one of the best jiu-jitsu academies in the world, producing World Champion athletes at all levels, from juvenile and white belt all the way to black belt.

    Every time I watch master Galvao techniques I reach a bit more level . Watching at that video when you get into the figure 4 and josh put the legs crossed you can also pass the arm in the middle of the crossed legs and attack the legs crossed like a footlock but with his own legs. Maybe you can try at the way I say and show me if it works master. Greetings

    would you do this in a real fight, or is it too flashy?

      There’s videos of people doing heel hooks in real life fights, although in all honestly I would keep it basic and go to back mount and keep it simple with a RNC.

      Like George said, sometimes less is more. Tearing someone's knee ligaments apart can be very painful but everybody has a different level of pain tolerance, specially under a lot of adrenaline like in a fight. If you put someone to sleep, the fight is painlessly definitely over. It's interesting how a painless finish like a RNC can kill you; however, a painful finish like a heal hook won't. Food for thought.
