Why hasn't Ms. Gutierrez been charged with violating Federal Firearms law as well?
Defense is ridiculous. Would Hannah say "I want my stuff " if it was protein powder or creatine?? He is grasping at straws
It was terrible questioning by the defense
Right. Fact is ain't nobody carrying around protein powder in specific little baggies that are typically only used for drugs or packaging tiny bits of jewelry or bolts & screws etc. And even then, a lot of the baggies drug dealers use have designs that normal retail sellers would never use because the bags are branded to be edgy and indicate.. drugs.
@@y2ksurvivor i've literally never bought a bag of (illicit) drugs in my life that had specific drug related branding on it, like it's the movie half baked or something.
eta not arguing against the broader point, just that one in specific.

Well, when you've got nothing, you start throwing Hail-Marys.
Getting high at work is bad enough, but when you're responsible for firearms (props or not), is enough for a conviction IMO.
She wouldn't be confident enough shooting a water pistol, far less a real gun,if she was a coke head, ofcouse it was cocaine, why would she want it back if it was not valued
Unfortunately there are many departments in film that are responsible for a degree of safety yet shovel the powder in their noses.

why do defense attorneys think drug addicts can't recognize drugs? LOL
Even addicts don't know EXACTLY what's in their powder drugs unless they make the drugs or get them lab tested. Defense jumps on any shadow of doubt they can. You can see the defense starting to stand up when coke was mentioned, because there's no way she knew for 100% that it was drugs unless she tried or tested it. All she saw was white powder....it was most definitely drugs but there's not really a way to prove it.
they'll do anything they can to make anyone on the victims side look like they dont know what their doing.( not just regarding drugs.)
It's far-fetched to think MS Gutierrez would hand her sugar, or anything other than drugs. There would hardly be any point to that.

I am still in the midst of watching this testimony. I really feel sorry for this woman. I am Certain that this is NOT the first time that she has run across people in the "movie world" who have drugs around or are doing them in front of her. I have an ex- in-law in that business and she told us on more than one occasion that drugs are Everywhere on those sets ( and in that world).
