Thanks for the great advice on here. Looks like I will have to call the local vet for my little budgie Purly. Tail bobbing, barely eating, puffed feathers and unkempt feathers. I have her in a heated environment now but will take her ASAP to the local vet. I'm definitely purchasing the book!

This is upsetting, I have no avian vets near me so I’m adding apple cider vinegar in their water bowls and providing them with many fruits and veg and mint leaves. I only got my budgies a month ago, I’m pretty sure she is going to die
provide warmth and also some honey in drinking water 1 teasp per cup. Order some zeo activ 8 or zeo vet tox to help in future... www.goldcoastbirdvet.com and order my budgie e-book,. start her on some form of tetracycline in the same water. Blessings, Ross
thank you very much Birgitte! I appreciate your comment. I just dare to be a little different and to share a little of the right side of my brain/mind/heart with us all. Blessings, Ross
My budgie bobs her head when I take the sheets off in the morning. (or if she has woken up before). She starts bobbing ferociously, and you can hear her breath being labored, her mouth clicks, and she just does this for a good 5 minutes, after that she is okay for the rest of the day. You can hear her breathing hard throughout the day though. it was not always like this. Problem started at least 2 months ago.
Whenever I take my budgie out of his cage and flies around for 10 minutes I start noticing that he breaths heavily and his tail starts bobbing inside his cage he starts relaxing and doesn’t show those symptoms any suggestions?
Yes it is different thing. I assume you know budgies have no diaphram to breath, they have muscles that connect to lungs and their tails. Your stiuation is like moving chest when breathing after running or excercising for human. It is compilately normal. But if someone does that without any excercise and if there is noisy breathing, it shows some respiratory problems. It is same for budgies but they move their tails insread of chests, up and down. And sometimes they breath with their open beak, after flying. I have a budgie that bobs his tail when he's breathing but he's doing that when staying on perch, even if not flying. That is not normal.
my budgie just died and fell off his stick and fell on the bottom of the cage and started breathing rapidly and died i buried him rip to snowwhite i loved you

Mels _Vibes same though mine happened a couple of months ago. It was during the middle of the night but I had a fan on so I didn’t hear it. Last time I’ve ever turned on a fan at night. (I have to other budgies so I’m always paranoid)
Hi and thank you for giving so much relevant help to us all, quick question; we have birds and found a patch of mould in our house that we didnt know about, in our bedroom, how likely could it be that our 4 budgies may be affected by this? as they are in our living room downstairs, best wishes,
My Budgie's tail id bobbing. I don't know if it's sick. I'm scared and I really don't want it to die because my last bird died pf a blood feather and I didn't know what it was at the time. Please help. I'm not sure if I should be worried. In my town, there is no bird expert. They're all dog and cat experts.

Hello doctor! My female budgie is pregnant... Her vent is swolen... and I am concerned because she lays eggs every month which are not fertilized...I bought a male budgie for her and its been a year since i bought him but i keep him in a separate cage as he chases her ,(he plays with her) but she gets exhausted (they even preen eachother) ... recently I bought a big cage for them and decided to keep both of them together in it... its been 3 weeks since they are living together in that cage... she got pregnant again but she is not laying her egg and her vent is really swollen ... I separated the male budgie from her as he kept chasing her , didn't let her rest for a moment and she couldn't eat properly as he would follow her around everywhere.... its been two days since i separated them (he is in a different cage which i keep beside her cage) but she still hasn't layed her egg... she has started to breathe heavily with her wings open all the time.... she is still playful and immediately jumps on my finger whenever i move my finger close to her...the breathing and tail bobbing (she is panting alot) maybe because its 45°C in my country ... please tell me what to do i am super worried .. i luv her so much i dont want something to happen to her (shez two years old by the way)
I have a bird that tail bobs and makes a squiking noise when she breathes. She seems to be happy and in good health. but she has consistently done this since her birth, 3 years ago.

Timothy Dawn My parakeet has the same issues?! I took her to the vet previously, but they she was fine and passed her check up. She still has the same symptoms, but her feet are hot and she seems reluctant to fly (even though she can still fly perfectly). It’s that high pitched squeaking noise that bothers me. It happens after she eats, when she drinks water, and sometimes just randomly several times. Other then that she plays with her toys, this has been going on for a year.
In the great state of CT, the 3 vets I have called has basically turned me off. Without even seeing my bird I'm told there's not much they can do for it. Sick of the disconnect in this world...
My parakeets tail is slightly bobbing up and down and I’m not sure if he’s breathing correctly or not. If he’s having trouble breathing, could you please give tips on how to help him? I don’t have a vet I can take him to so I would really appreciate if you could help me.
He probably has avian chlamydiosis. See www.goldcoastbirdvet.com., If you want my personal help please donate $50 to drrossperry1@gmail.com by Paypal and email me that you have done so with a photograph of him and his name. Blessings, Ross
My budgie missy just sarted to breath heavy. Its not super fast but more like shes trying to catch her breath. Shes eating, drinking, and playing like normal. Her droppings also looked normal. Im unable to take her to a vet right now though i really want to. She also isn't off balanced or sleeping an overwhelming amount. I am certainly keeping an eye on her to make sure nothing abnormal is happening, but i did notice she'll breath heavy, stop and breath regularly for a few minutes, and continue heavy breathing.
I suggest you invest in my budgie book and later in my dowsing book and bird poop books. In the meantime if you want my personal help I cost $70 for first 15 minutes as explained below: Budgie Book E-book www.goldcoastbirdvet.com/store/p131/%22Budgie_Book%22_e-Book%2C_by_Doctor_Ross_Perry.html Hardcopy outside Australia www.goldcoastbirdvet.com/store/p125/%22Budgie_Book%22_Delivery_OUTSIDE_Australia_Readable_Spine_by__Doctor_Ross_Perry.html Remote bird health advice and help Veterinary Law internationally and locally makes it illegal for vets to give advice without having physically examined the animal recently and /or without being asked for another opinion by a vet who has done so. Your budgie is sick. Please send $70 to drrossperry1@gmail.com paypal account and I will do scientific dowsing to sort out which problems apply and wisest remedy or treatment. Blessings and thanks for contacting me. Ross
Mine too shows the same symptoms and he is a baby who didn't learn to fly yet. Iam in India and o couldn't find a bird expert in my area. If your budgie is ok now then help me plz. Thanks.
Get your budgie on 45 days of doxycycline in drinking water fresh daily as only source of water, or on zeo activ8 . contact me again if you can get the latter. blessings, Ross
I just got my budgie yesterday. He does tail bobbing and heavy breathing, that's all. He eats and drinks well, still shy since he's new but a bit active. So I'm really confused if its normal 'cause he's new or is it serious?
I suggest you study the principles I teach in my books. You will learn a lot about diet and much more too! www.goldcoastbirdvet.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html
I recently lost my loved 'blossom' due to some illness 😞 I loved her a lot now these symptoms are reflected on my other budgie 'canto' I cant afford to lose my another loved one Canto's tail is bobbing more than often her eyes are closed most of the time shes keeping he head backwards in sleeping kinda postion here we dont have avian vet hospitals or some kinda specialist I know its illegal for you to give advice on the internet without diagonising the bird but plz doctor.....plz
Birds with signs like yours often have chlamydiosis that is usually treated with a tetracycyline in drinking water for 45 days, doxycycline being the favourite tetracycline among bird vets. Blessings, Ross. Frankincence and Bergomot vaporisation could alo help.
My duck started breathing heavy and tail bobbing after eating watermelon quickly ( no seeds and cut up small) Looks like crop is slightly larger on one side. Have been massaging crop but no difference. Acting normal otherwise. Can’t get into the vet for 2 days. Anything else I should be doing?
Pls help me... My budgie was really playful before days... Now suddenly it cant fly and it is breathing fast and bobbling its tail tooo... What should I do now?😭😭😭😭😭...pls help...
Take it to a bird vet or a vet interested in helping .... consider doxycycline course in drinking water. consider zeo activ8 bottle from Giselle 0408424331 Australia $65 plus postage
My bird flew onto my head in the shower and the water hit him and made him fall, he got extremely wet and since has been regurgitating consistently. I can't get into the vet tomorrow as it is christmas. I am unsure if it is an emergency. He is eating fine and playful. But he usually doesn't regurgitate this consistently. Should I get into a emergency vet in the day tomorrow? Or am I safe waiting an extra 24 hours and going in when they open? This is worrying me a lot and I can't get clear answers anywhere
my budgie has been tail bobbing for about a week now. His breathing seems completely fine and no different from my other budgie who doesn't have a tail bob. I don't know whether to take him to the vet or not since he doesn't have any nasal or cere discharge and is relatively active and noisy throughout pretty much all of the day. Should the tail bobbing therefore be a concern? If so, what is it most likely to be a symptom of?

iistoastycat please do tell how it goes as my new budgie is the same way. Idk if I'm paranoid or if there's actually something wrong. I'm going to try giving her some Chamomile tea just in case. Hope your budgie's doing well.:)
If your new budgie is the same way, it is very sick and is likely to need a lot more than Chamomile tea... take it to a bird vet asap or contact me on email drrossperry1@gmail.com and I will explain about helping you remotely.

I got a quick question it would help if you answered quickly! When I grab my budgie up close to me, I can hear tiny little squeaks each breath. He doesn’t bob his tail, nothing other then that. And yesterday I saw my bird opening and closing his mouth rapidly, not making a sound. Today he didn’t do anything like that. Should I be worried since I can’t go to any veterinarian due to the fact that it’s quarantine. Is there any home solutions to treat him IF he’s sick.
Give him ZeoActiv8 diluted 1 part in 6 parts of water from a dropper bottle 20 drops/ml give him 1 drop twice a day for 14 days and report or sooner if worse. Blessings. Ross
Ross Perry hello can you please respond sir. I just noticed that my budgie is a little overweight and cannot fly for long periods of time. I heard If you put a steaming hot water covered with a towel helps the budgie breathe. And my budgie changed his voice a little bit. I’m wondering what he has. And if he can survive
I am confused. My budgie is bobbing her tail a little faster than usual. I checked if it is after flight but it is actually not the reason. She usually fights with her fellow mates but it is not case for some days. She usually remains active but now like when she eats something she gets active and starts to fight but after some time she sleeps with her mouth at rest with the back. Recently his mate died. Should I be worried cause I think she is having some problem. If anyone can pls help or tell and medicine cause the nearest vet is too far to reach
Can someone help i just got a budgie, 2 momths ago and her tail is bobbing not severely though, my mom said i should not go to the doctor and shell be fine. Hi can you help me please we had a swap with budgies ourselves swap a hen bird for a cock bird we put the cock bird in the aviary with our other budgies which they are all babies, but this cock bird tail is bobbing up and down since we had him on the 28th May 2019 he don’t can’t get on with our budgies all he wants to do is hide away, when our birds go near him he screech out and flys away what can we do please
My budgie blueberry has seen really weird lately she's breathing really heavily she's eating thought. My mother cleaned the bathroom with bleach which is right by her room and forgot to shut the door. I think it might be that. Your my last hope if I can do anything for her please let me know I don't wanna lose her.
Are there any things to do to help your bird if you cant afford a vet? I'm an American so I don't even have health insurance let alone the capacity to spend hundreds of dollars for the bird I love. If it was a virus or aerosol poisoning what would the vet do?
My budgie, new has tail bobbing but loses it when it is about to sleep. I got him today, it’s terrified so far and breathes sort of heavily and the tail is in sync with the breathing but right now at night it stopped and it’s still awake, is it sick?

Hello sir, I know it’s been about 4 years since this video was posted, but I have one question. Do budgies tail bob when they’re calm? Because my female budgie has been tail bobbing since yesterday and it’s not so prominent and she’s acting normal, so I just wanted to know if this kind of tail bobbing is common in budgies. Thank you :)
My budgie Sky been falling from his stick and seems to have a hard time when climbing back up! He breathing hard after getting back on the stick! He keeping his beak open! Seams like he wants to eat more! :( Edit: Update today on Christmas my Budge Sky went home to Heaven! :(
I understand if you can’t respond quickly but my budgie is breathing pretty heavily, he also seems to have an injured foot. He could possibly be breathing heavy due to the constant use of one foot and the struggle of moving around the cage. This has been going on for three days now. I’ve looked into the problem and still can’t find information that relates to his condition. Sadly I can’t take him to the vet until three days from now since I don’t have a ride. I’d greatly appreciate if you can help me.
Is his abdomen concave (should be), flat or convex? If convex suspect a tumour pressing on nerve to leg. If convex suspect leg injury and respiratory infection most likely. Consider starting on Zeo Product as per www.goldcoastbirdvet.com or a tetracycline until vet examination. Colllect fresh poop on plastic and seal it before starting tx and take that to vet in case culture inidicated. Ross
Pray for him using adapted prayers from rear of Dowsing from the Heart E-book www.goldcoastbirdvet.com. Nebulise him for 30 to 60 minutes 3 xx a day with Frankincense and Bergamot. Give him 1 drop of 1:6 water of Zeo Activ8 or Zeo Recovry by mouth twice a day for 14 days. Offer him a variety of fresh green seeding grasses and dandelion milk thistle and chickweed. Provide a heat sourse st one end of one perch. Blessings, Ross Perry
The orthodox medicines for breathing heavily depend on the cause of the heavy breathing. Many of the chlamydial and bacterial infections resepond to Doxycycline. I use Zeo Activ8 more and more as this helps various toxins as well. The dose rate and duration of treatment depends on the cause. My budgie is tail bobbing and it lives with a mate. Its behaving normally other than that. I don't have any avian specialist in my area. Everything else is normal with it and it's just as active as it used to be. It may be pregnant because my birds started showing signs such as the male feeding the female and them eating together. I would love your opinion on this matter. Is it normal or do I have something to worry about?
I would among other things check the abdomen for enlargement. It should feel concave, caved in between end of sternum and anus. Your budgie can't be pregnant but she might have a retained egg or diseased oviduct if she has not been provided with a nesting box.. I would let her breed 1 clutch a year.Read my budgie e-book via www.goldcoastbirdvet.com. blessings, Ross
Please tell me what to do , my african grey is breathing heavily with closed mouth. But his tail is moving back and forth with every breath ! Please Guid me what to do
You need to have your african Grey examined by a bird vet to determine the cause of its laboured breathing. I cannot help remotely until June or July this year. Blessings, Ross
My budgie got his poop stuck to his vent so I just removed it. My budgie has stopped being active and he has a runny poop and he breathes so fast than usual. What can I feed him to make him alright. I don't have any vet near my area and I cannot visit any other vet due to Covid-19 situation. Please, could you suggest me some home remedy..
If you can get zeo activ8 or zeo vet tox that would be ideal but otherwise try some form of tetracycyline in his water eg terramycin, oxytetracyecline, chlortetracycyline doxycycline, . If not tell me if you have any left over antiobic tablets or capsules. Of course he should have his fresh diarrhoea checked microscoptically for coccidia, years, worm eggs and Macrorhabdus ornithogaster (megabacteria""") . you might get some charcoal tablets and grind them and give him some by mouth as well. Blessings, Ross
Is it possible, it's tail is bobbing and it's heavy breathing is caused by nerves and stress? My new baby budgie is doing both of these and it is his first day in my home.
My budgie is a yellow albino and it’s about 5 months old and she’s breathing really fast and making a clicking noise and her wings are higher then usual and the other blue budgie (is male and the other is female) is copying the yellow one I think the yellow one is scared of me but the blue one runs away but still goes on my hand when eating what’s happening please help ;-;
Greetings Dr Ross! One of my budgies has been sneezing a bit more frequently since about 3 days, he sneezes constantly for like 5 sneezes and just now, I heard some stridor. No tail bobbing,no ruffled feathers. What should I do? Should I start him on broad spectrum antibiotics? If yes then please advise me the antibiotic and oral dosage ( I'll use a crop injection). Thanking you in anticipation Yours sincerely Haseeb Saqib
Could it be due to seasonal shift? I'm a 2nd year Veterinary student. Just wanted to have your opinion, since I can't seek Veterinary care right now, due to the COVID pandemic. The patient is a juvenile male budgie.
@@haseebsaqib9186 what is your budgie's stuation right now, is it fine? And if you don't mind, I want to ask your opinion and unoficially advice. I got my budgie 4 days ago. He eats and drinks well, his poop seems good, poop has tootpaste consistency and green-brown color. He has no illness signs, he just little bit foreign to new home but he eats what in my hand in the cage. He flies and chirps when I play budgie sounds to him. He is sleepy sometimes in the days, not all the times but I think it's because of he can't sleep well at nights because he didn't adapted yet to new home. The room temperature is between 22 and 25 °C, never belows under 22 °C and *he never pops up his feathers. That's because I guess he has no fever and any infection in his body. I'm not sure, need your opinion for that.* Only sign is *tail bobbing.* Sometimes he is really bobbing his tails, not doing that when he is active. and sometimes he breathes noisily when he is sleepy but barely noticible even I listen carefully near him. I'm not sure it's noisy breathing or it's come from his beak because it sounds like just one tock per breath and it doesn't all the time. He sneezes one or two time when he clean his feathers. No dirty nose. But it has some dull color in his cere to me, not bright pink color. He is under 4 months old. I gave him spearmint and carrots for vitamin A because you know many bird seller only feed them with millets. But that tail bobbing makes me worried. It's been just 4 days, I know it isn't much time but I want to know if it isn't caused by any infection. Mr. Haseeb I'm very sorry for this long posts and sorry my english. but I'm worried about my budgie. Do you agree with my guess? What is your opinion? I suspect he has vitamin A deficiency. But I don't know when he will be good by just eating carrot and mint leaves for vitamin A.
@@KKoKoRR Thanks for asking. My budgie is absolutely fine. The sneezing was just due to seasonal shift. The tail bobbing you see your budgie doing is most probably due to stress. When budgies are stressed/ adapting to a new environment, they breathe heavily sometimes and move their tail up and down, especially when a human comes near them... Hopefully, this will be resolved within a couple of days... Also, regarding the nutrition; you should feed your budgie a good quality seed mix supplemented by fresh green leafy vegetables like spinach, beet root greens, chickweed, collard greens, etc. You can also feed your budgie carrots, apples, celery, coriander leaves, mint etc. Also, clean, fresh drinking water should be available all the time in the cage. For calcium supplementation, cuttlefish bone can be hung inside the cage and the budgie will nibble on it whenever he likes. Good nutrition, proper exercise and a stress free environment will make your budgie a cheerful and a healthy bird. If you want to know more about keeping budgies as pets, contact me on my email: haseebsaqib2221999@gmail.com. P.s. If the bird suddenly becomes lethargic and the tail bobbing intensifies or a wheeze develops, please contact your local avian veterinarian. Thank you!
does tail bobbing always come with breathing problems? my budgie looked like they were trying to regurgitate something for half a minute before stopping, stretching their neck out and opening their beak repeatedly.
Sir , I don't have vet but budgie breeders who gave me a soluble pack which can cover all types of bacterial and all you told about. I wanted to know is it safe because there is no avian vet. She is pooping healthy and playing around but is bobbing tail unlike others
I don't know which antibiotic is in your soluble pack. it is most likely that your budgie has chlamydiosis and needs a tetracycline antibiotic for 45 days. Doxycycline is best of current antibiotics. Ross

Hello Dr. Good evening. My female budgie is 6 months old and has a partner who is 3 months old. My female budgie has been having loose and large poops since day before yesterday. She is having tail bobbing and sitting with open wings often. she is eating well and drinking water. but very often runs inside the nest and sits inside. She is biting me and I tried to keep her male partner inside her cage and stays happy for sometime but tries to mate with him and fights at times. I saw them mating day before yesterday and kept them separate as the male is not mature enough. I took my female budgie to a vet and he checked her poops and said nothing serious. But my female budgie is sitting with the wings open, labored breathing, tail bobbing and large poops, dull eyes and eyes closed at times too.. Can you please advice what is the issue with her Dr. She is my baby and I cannot afford to loose her Dr. Thank you in advance for your advice Dr.

I am saddened to hear this. So often sick birds can heal with different methods beyond the orthodox and some of these can be used from one side of the earth "remotely" to the other side. Thank you for replying.. I will ask you next time.. The vet just told me it was better to put him to sleep. He was only 2 and a half..I have three more budgies, and they seem happy enough.. I saved them from being killed. I love them so much!! I feed them a balance diet..Thank Dr Rose your great!! 😊
How can i stop from this happening again? I have three more budgies..I clean them everyday clean water, clean good seed, treats greens, fruit and cuttlefish etc. I'm so scared of it happening again to them..My vet told me to put him to sleep..I just didn't wont him to suffer anymore as his breathing was so bad.. It broke my heart to let him go.. I miss him so much!!!! He was such a beautiful budgie..

Also with the signs your bird showed it would be wise to get yourself checked out as a very common contributing cause is psittacosis that is transferrable to some of us. I can do that as above and/or you can go to your medical doctor.
What is your budgie's name? Where do you live? He most likely has Chlamydia. Do you have access to doxycycline antibiotic? If not I will need to take off my veterinary hat and work as a scientific spiritual dowser. This normally costs $70 for first 15 minutes and $65/15 minutes thereafter. you would need 15 minutes. Do you have other birds? Does anyone associated with the budgie have respiratory disease or is otherwise sick?

Hi my female budgie (4-5 years old) has had some serious tail bobbing, I don’t hear any severe clicking or wheezing and she seems relatively relaxed( she has two kids about 1-2 months of age) the weather has gotten cold of late and I’m wondering if it’s a result of weather changes. Note she also layed eggs recently so maybe that’s the cause. I’m just wondering if this is a infection or normal because I have no avian vet near me

Blessings, Dr. Ross Perry.
It's great when after 4 min of saying "it could be ___". The health tips consist of 'take them to a vet'
How is she doing now? I just got my budgie 3 weeks ago.
Are they ok now?
You are an amazing bird expert!!
thank you very much Birgitte!
This is normal, its just relaxing from flying or exercise thats why they breathe hard.
That is not normal.
my budgie just died and fell off his stick and fell on the bottom of the cage and started breathing rapidly and died i buried him rip to snowwhite i loved you
Jellybeansquash2 2, I empathise with you. I know the heartache I have experienced. I have written Doctor Ross Perry's Budgie Book and E-Book for people like you if you want to have another pet bird to care. It would help you
caring for birds. Please explore and visit my helpful books @ www.goldcoastbirdvet.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html Blessings Dr. Ross Perry.
The same thing happened to mine 2 days ago
Mels _Vibes same though mine happened a couple of months ago. It was during the middle of the night but I had a fan on so I didn’t hear it. Last time I’ve ever turned on a fan at night. (I have to other budgies so I’m always paranoid)
Thank you so much. You really helped me. ❤
Thank you!
Hi and thank you for giving so much relevant help to us all, quick question; we have birds and found a patch of mould in our house that we didnt know about, in our bedroom, how likely could it be that our 4 budgies may be affected by this? as they are in our living room downstairs, best wishes,
no risk in this case, by dowsing.
Hello Milly. I am registered as a bird specialist and also care for other pets as a holistic vets. Please privately message me in Skype DoctorRossPerry or email drrossperry1@gmail.com and I will explain the terms and conditions. You may contact me @ 0419693279 for your appointment.
To help you and your Budgie I either need to physically examine him as a vet or to work remotely as a scientific dowser. The legal situation for vets is: Remote bird health advice and help
Veterinary Law internationally and locally makes it illegal for vets to give advice without having physically examined the animal recently and /or without being asked for another opinion by a vet who has done so.
Perhaps you can ask your vet for a referral to me to explore holistic options for helping your bird(s)? or I can take my veterinary hat off and work as a scientific dowser using a series of charts I have created including diseases, drugs, body parts etc of people and a range of animals including dogs, birds and remotely tune into your bird's quantum energy field and evaluate answers on an exponential scale from 0 to positive 180 and 0 to negative 180 re status, wisdom, vitality etc. This work costs $70 for up to first 15 minutes with the

I can also do transformative invocations and evaluate the almost immediate changes that occur with many of the above parameters. The wisdom of giving various drugs, remedies and courses of action can also be evaluated. None of this work is a veterinary diagnosis, veterinary advice or veterinary treatment. It is a remote reading of probabilities and possibilities as determined by scientific dowsing. I would anticipate 30-60 minutes work for
full work up etc. tho you/we should have a good idea of probabilities and possibilities in first 15 minutes. You can Skype video call DoctorRossPerry while I m doing it and I provide a summary print out of key findings within the time available.
Let me know your bird's name and send me at least one preferably more macro photos and/or videos of aspects of your bird and a detailed history of veterinary care so far if at all possible if you want to proceed.

I separated the male budgie from her as he kept chasing her , didn't let her rest for a moment and she couldn't eat properly as he would follow her around everywhere.... its been two days since i separated them (he is in a different cage which i keep beside her cage) but she still hasn't layed her egg... she has started to breathe heavily with her wings open all the time.... she is still playful and immediately jumps on my finger whenever i move my finger close to her...the breathing and tail bobbing (she is panting alot) maybe because its 45°C in my country ... please tell me what to do i am super worried .. i luv her so much i dont want something to happen to her (shez two years old by the way)
What medicine I should give to budgie
I have a bird that tail bobs and makes a squiking noise when she breathes. She seems to be happy and in good health. but she has consistently done this since her birth, 3 years ago.

She may have goitre or similar thyroid problem pressing on her syrinx.
One more thing, she breathes faster than my other parakeet, not heavier.
In the meantime if you want my personal help I cost $70 for first 15 minutes as explained below:

I just got my budgie yesterday. He does tail bobbing and heavy breathing, that's all. He eats and drinks well, still shy since he's new but a bit active. So I'm really confused if its normal 'cause he's new or is it serious?
I have the same problem :(
How’s he doing now?
Can you tell me a good diet they don't seem to eat carrots but they like broccoli
I suggest you study the principles I teach in my books. You will learn a lot about diet and much more too! www.goldcoastbirdvet.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html
Hi sir where can I purchase your book please
I recently lost my loved 'blossom' due to some illness 😞 I loved her a lot
now these symptoms are reflected on my other budgie 'canto'
I cant afford to lose my another loved one
Canto's tail is bobbing more than often her eyes are closed most of the time shes keeping he head backwards in sleeping kinda postion
here we dont have avian vet hospitals or some kinda specialist
I know its illegal for you to give advice on the internet without diagonising the bird but plz doctor.....plz
Birds with signs like yours often have chlamydiosis that is usually treated with a tetracycyline in drinking water for 45 days, doxycycline being the favourite tetracycline among bird vets. Blessings, Ross. Frankincence and Bergomot vaporisation could alo help.
Hello, I need ur help sir
Will budgie mate while tail bobbing and sit on eggs
It might do but it is very sick if tail bobbing and needs veterinary care.
@@DoctorRossPerry thank u sir for fast replaying💕

Blessings. Ross
Ross Perry Thank you so much.
Ross Perry I’m going to subscribe to you because of how useful and nice you and your content are, thank you so much! 🙏
He is happy and singing, without any medicine, How do I get ZeoActiv8, and is it safe for birds?
But i think she has respitary problems, is there any home medicene or anyrhing that will fix my bird that i can biy medicene?? Please please im begging help
Will my bird die she has tail bobbing while breathing
probably if not given appropriate help and probably not if given appropriate help!

I am not sure if you are aware but Dr Ross Perry passed away, I believe it was in September os 2021 sadly.
Can tail bobbing happen from stress
very briefly, say 5-10 minutes after period of acute stress
Are there any things to do to help your bird if you cant afford a vet? I'm an American so I don't even have health insurance let alone the capacity to spend hundreds of dollars for the bird I love. If it was a virus or aerosol poisoning what would the vet do?
As a holistic vet I would try Frankincense, Bergamot, Eucalyptus oil. as a diffusion for 30 minutes three times a day and ZeoActiv 8 /os twice a day
My budgie, new has tail bobbing but loses it when it is about to sleep. I got him today, it’s terrified so far and breathes sort of heavily and the tail is in sync with the breathing but right now at night it stopped and it’s still awake, is it sick?
yes. see abird vet please. Ross
What do you do if you have a galah parrot and it's bopping it's tail plus breathing is wheezing? Young parrot no previous health problems

Tail bobbing is usually a sign of lower respiraratory disease or a space occupying mass in the abdomen. Ross
Thank you, and also thanks for replying so fast :)
My budgie is breed so
there is no deaseas to my budgie
My budgie is breathing with open beak is there any problem
My budgie Sky been falling from his stick and seems to have a hard time when climbing back up! He breathing hard after getting back on the stick! He keeping his beak open! Seams like he wants to eat more! :(
Edit: Update today on Christmas my Budge Sky went home to Heaven! :(
Your budgie is very ill and needs urgent professional attention. Sorry I can't do more to help at present. Blessings, Ross
@@DoctorRossPerry thanks for the reply!
Ross
So my budgie who is very old is breathing heavily and he breathes like he is cherping what do I do before he dies?
Pray for him using adapted prayers from rear of Dowsing from the Heart E-book www.goldcoastbirdvet.com. Nebulise him for 30 to 60 minutes 3 xx a day with Frankincense and Bergamot. Give him 1 drop of 1:6 water of Zeo Activ8 or Zeo Recovry by mouth twice a day for 14 days. Offer him a variety of fresh green seeding grasses and dandelion milk thistle and chickweed. Provide a heat sourse st one end of one perch. Blessings, Ross Perry
I went to vet but they said don't know will you please tell what the medicine for breathing heavily
For remote work to help you: Remote bird health advice and help

@@DoctorRossPerry thank you so much for helping me.. 🙂 My bird just died today.
Is it possible, it's tail is bobbing and it's heavy breathing is caused by nerves and stress?
My new baby budgie is doing both of these and it is his first day in my home.
It is possible, but more likely that he is sick.
My budgie is a yellow albino and it’s about 5 months old and she’s breathing really fast and making a clicking noise and her wings are higher then usual and the other blue budgie (is male and the other is female) is copying the yellow one I think the yellow one is scared of me but the blue one runs away but still goes on my hand when eating what’s happening please help ;-;

Thanking you in anticipation
Yours sincerely

I'm not sure, need your opinion for that.*
Only sign is *tail bobbing.* Sometimes he is really bobbing his tails, not doing that when he is active. and sometimes he breathes noisily when he is sleepy but barely noticible even I listen carefully near him.
No. As you have personally observed. Blessings, Ross
@@DoctorRossPerry thank you
Sir , I don't have vet but budgie breeders who gave me a soluble pack which can cover all types of bacterial and all you told about.
Ross

Can you specifically suggest me any medicine as my budgie tail is bobbing.
