  • Heel to Switch Off the Foil with Christian & Karine
    Just like riding, if you want to be gybing on the foil, you need to be prepared. And there’s no better way than gybing off the foil. Not only a practical way of turning without submerging yourself, whether in light winds or lulls, but also the ultimate way to get your bearings and set the foundations for what’s to come. Learn to bear away and steer to downwind, flip your wing, ride switch and as a bonus, a cheeky foot change.

    Thank you for your video ❤ could you please give your opinion on north seek 2021? I see on next videos gear was changed, what is your opinion and comparison with cabrinha code v1

    • @CKPerformancetv
      @CKPerformancetv Před rokem

      Both great boards. The Code is perhaps a tad more stable when climbing on due to the bottom shape.

    Your vidéos are great. Now the challenge for me will be to change the feet while foiling ( I hope is similar as windsurf jibe) and I have a challenge for you:
    make the French language version of your videos, so we not have to suffer the french accent in English of Karine😅 and we can laugh at the accent of Christian in French. (Je déconne…).
    By the way, that Wing of Cabrinha is very special with 2 air chambers in the middle: looks very smart.
    ( I had the chance to met Pete and Robby in La Torche …).

      The trick to the foot switch is to move them slightly close together and to do it quickly ;-)

      Hey Fabio, now there is an idea, don't tempt us:) We'll have a foot change video coming soon... The wing has very good vision. Two legends indeed!

    Hi , loving your videos! I'm a beginner winger but have some experience on a windsurf foil. I am 5'4 and 65kgs. Could you please advise me on which size I should get please?

    • @CKPerformancetv
      @CKPerformancetv Před 2 lety

      Thanks Simon. Tricky as it depends as much on location and conditions as anything else. However don't go too small too early on the board... Enjoy:)

    Hello and thanks for the information. How many liters has the board you are using on the video?
