The other members were Marian Lyerly and Pat Hendricks; Chuck McClendon was the manager. An August 1967 story in a Pittsburgh newspaper said that "Hey Baby" was recently recorded and had been performed on two television shows.
It's possible that the Washington address was fictitious; all involved were from Pittsburgh.
BMI.com / Songview credits both tracks to Charles Ruben McClendon, a different person than Charlie McClendon (and the Magnificents).
