    In this video, I show you how to override a method in Java and show you what method overriding is! Java method overriding just means subclass methods replace the superclass methods if the object is set up using the subclass constructor.

    Thank you for the clear explanation. I started coding by learning static languages like Java, but then moved on to work in Python at university. I still feel much more comfortable in Java! Working on obtaining a software engineering position working with Java.

      @@youmadpleb1582the translations shouldn’t be that hard since the languages are relatively similar so long as you understand the concept granted I know both languages to an extent which makes it easier to translate lol

    I am a student at university. We do Python and Java. Everyone is saying to go for Python. I like to know what are the advantages compared to Python in learning Java for a career in software development?

      Python is great and more modern. But if you learn Java it's way easier to learn almost any other programming language afterwards. If you only learned Python, you'd struggle to learn other languages because it's a bit oversimplified from an education standpoint, in my opinion.
