Maintenance on the Lelit Mara X and showing my Eureka Crono burrs set 🤫

Hey everyone I thought that this was a good chance to show everyone how I descale my Mara. I also thought this was a good chance to open up my Crono to show how to clean the inside and show off the 50mm burrs set that it came with for anyone that was interested.

Great video! I'm looking for a multi-purpose grinder and the Crono looks like a great candidate. Many people suggest that it's really capable for espresso too, even before changing the burr set. I have 2 questions and would greatly appreciate if you could answer them.
1. How loud is it?
2. How many turns are there on the dial. I'm specifically wondering how hard would it be to go between drip and espresso.

It is unfortunately not the quietest grinder since there is no dampers like the higher end of their line up ,but nothing that personally bothers me. Honestly I do not really do drip on it since it takes multiple turns, but if I had to guess its end 3-4 full turns.

@@CCCulture947 I agree, it's quiet enough. Current (2022) stock burrs don't quite do it for espresso even at zero. Replacement Eureka burr set does good espresso grind at about 1.25 ±

Is the burr alignment ever an issue? I don't see it in the official Eureka videos but I heard a lot of chatter about it.

It was not the best alignment out of the box and numbering to zero isn’t perfect which are things you should expect with eureka grinders
