THESE FILIPINO KIDS HAVE SEEN HOW THEIR PARENTS WORKS HARD .
SO THEY COMPENSATE WITH GOOD GRADES .
HARDSHIP OF THEIR PARENT'S ,.OPEN UP THEIR HEARTS AND MINDS TO DO GOOD AND LATER THEY RETIRE THEIR PARENT'S ,

It is NOT the rice. It's the attitude, persistence, creativity, hard work, and all things that make us competitive and receptive to challenges; with the added curiosity to find out how far we can go and improve on whatever talents or potentials we have.

One of the things that rich and poor Filipino children have in common is love for the arts. Love..in a way where it's natural, everyday, while they grow up til they pass the passion to their children and even if they're not that good in the beginning. And by that fact, everyone in the country is rich. ❤️

FYI, every households here in PH have a Karaoke setup. We sing when we get bored, when there's a party or a simple huddle, we sing when we take a bath. We sing everywhere. Seems like this is kinda normal here in PH. Filipinos love to sing. Looking forward seeing you both here in PH. 🥰😘

I totally get you efra, I had this one moment when I was reviewing for my Nursing board exam and I just broke up with my ex. I was so stressed and pressured that I don’t know what to do, I go to church weekly if not daily to pray for everything. And then when I enter the church I heard kids singing (choir) and just like that my tears suddenly fell and I was literally crying almost all throughout the mass. And it is the first time I ever felt the presence of our Lord, it was as if he was beside me while having angels singing on the background, telling me it’s ok you’ll get through this. (And it really happen I passed the exam and I get through my break up with peace in my heart). I really have a soft spot when it comes to children and grandparents (lolo & lola), they are my weakness. Kids can really change the world. 💜💜💜

That 2nd to the last song is Lani Misalucha's song "Saan darating ang umaga". It was an incredible Pinoy classic song. She sang it on a park with a twist, she pretends to be a blind person so people would not notice her immediately, and also she's with other street singers in the park for money. It is interesting because people tend to not care much to them but when Lani started singing, people gathered because they couldn't believe how beautiful what they're hearing.

we are a singing family, I mean we sing a lot at home. everyone sings, my aunts & uncle sings, several plays guitar, grandma sings in the kitchen while cooking. dad sings, mom sings too. singing in various degree of skills. two of my half siblings were such a talented child singers but grew up to be shy. as an adult we have to coax them so grab the mic on family events and I always wonder what would have been if someone really took the time and help them nurture their ability, gotten them voice lessons and overcome their shyness. there are many Filipinos who are secretly talented but are also quite shy. at events, specially with alcohol, they'd come out of their shell and just blow away everyone.

I'm an Indian from the Philippines, and I can't tell you how engrained singing is as a cultural pass time, to many people, it can be as inane as twirling your hair. If you walk into a sari-sari store, at least one of the 4 girls there will be singing. The older generation grew up on jazz, blues and whatever they were playing in america in the 1980s. Simarly, their children grew up watching Disney movies or Disney songs sung by their mothers. It's common to walk on the street and have a girl suddenly start singing out of nowhere.

*30% can carry the tune and love to sing thou some of them is out of tune but they still can manage👍
*10% they love to sing but the song don't want them (kidding) 😅✌️

ah i get what efra means about children. i love children so much for the same reason, i see in them the best and most natural traits that we have. they are also imperfect, as all humans are, but when you see their imperfections it reminds you of our humanity and fallibility and also how easy it is to actually be forgiving of such things when you give that person the benefit of the doubt and consider their actions as mistakes free of malice. in addition, i love how freely they give love and affection even after you make mistakes or make them feel bad when you scold them and such. again, it shows you how capable we actually are of forgiving, but we somehow lost some if it as we grew up. But on the flip side... if i had never lost these things, i wouldn't be able to recognize how special they were and i would appreciate children and childhood less.

Efra since you asked who’s the next protégé for theater in the Philippines, well I know someone but not actually a protege.. she used to play Kim in the UK tour of Miss Saigon her name is JOREEN BAUTISTA. Please take a look and make a video reaction of her.
    Salamat!
