👍To you and Kelly for following LNT and proper food storage. Bears a smart and once they find a food source they keep coming back then it doesn't take long for them to loose their fear of humans. The water at the upper lake was so clear loved that spot wish I was there. Sending positive vibes the van repair goes well. Peace to you and Kelly.

He said it perfectly Brian! A place is perfect all on its own. That color is my absolute favorite color that aqua. My water bottle and my phone cover and my tablet are all that color LOL. Thank you for bringing me another gorgeous video and I'm watching it for at least the second time as I could watch your videos over and over again because they just bring me peace and joy.

Back in the day I use to gather wild veggies, can or freeze them for winter. Kelly Keep swooping him up and enjoy each other's company, mine married me. Yeah, you are absolutely right, too.... How artificially crazy we live. Complications, financial gain, anxiety, stress, control, image, fasion, trying to look good, etc... SOOO far from living naturally, like we were supposed to evolve to. Glad to know there are people out there, such as yourself, that gets it and connects with true nature. You rock, my friend!

Main campsite was beautiful but when you came over the last bit of hiking WOW that was breath taking. What a fantastic lake and the views all around it were to die for. Come on winter! for me anyway so I can get out and camp, Hope the van gets done soon. Nice of Kelly to pick you up and hang with her.

There was a nice background sound of the creek/water running throughout most of the video....very relaxing along with the green scenic values.
What a lovely lady friend you have. I finally got a good view of her. She is beautiful. Loved her smile at 2:04. It is good for us that she is getting over her camera shyness. I have done some van build videos and was sure to keep myself out of the picture, so this is something that I can relate to.

Hey Brian, looks right familiar, your just up the road from me. Used to take grandson hiking to lower lake L. years ago, Never made to upper lake. Thanks for the peek!
What part of western washington is this at? What lakes?
That was my thoughts too... upper and lower L lakes. Upper L is very up hill but worth it.
Van problems suck, having an epic camping trip like this makes van problems suck way less...

Wow. Beautiful scenery. This morning im planning a family drive and hike trip in kentucky to 6 waterfalls. Love fall. It's my favorite time to hike. I can just sit and watch leaves for hours. Thanks for the beautiful hikes.

Beautiful scenery.... The forrest, lakes, and mountains. Sure makes me wish I was young again and could get out and explore like that. Also makes me sad that I didnt when I was younger. But, all in all I am happy with the life I’ve lived. Teaching career, wife and family have all been wonderful. The wife and I have been exploring some of the western states the past 10 yrs since we retired. While we are not able to access places like the lakes you visited, our Jeep does get us into some beautiful places in places like Colorado, Utah and Az. Thanks for sharing with us the beauty that exists out there..

Incredible. Simply incredible. I completely agree with you about the desire for money and power. I've never been more at peace since selling everything but the bare essentials and adopting the nomadic life. Hope to do that hike, too. Maybe next year. A buddy of mine talks about good bad luck and bad bad luck. This falls into the good bad luck category. Bad luck that your van broke down but incredibly good luck that you got to go on an amazing trip that you might not have if your van hadn’t broke down. Great photography as usual!
