2022 SW Roadtrip Video 1 Drive from LA to Zion

This was the first day of our over 3000 mile southwest roadtrip. On September 10, 2022 we drove from Agoura Hills (near Los Angeles, CA) to Springdale, Utah. In the video we explain some of our time-honed road trip rules, visit the world's tallest thermometer in Baker, CA, and visit Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada, and end up at the Majestic View Lodge just outside Zion National Park. We traveled with Mike and Vicki from ‪@doda6629‬ for the start of another epic journey with them.
Our next video will cover what we learned while exploring Zion National Park over the two days we stayed there.

Sounds like an awesome road trip! Definitely take the short detour through Valley of Fire on the way to Zion. Our favorite trail in Zion was the Valley View hike, but take it early. Here's a link to our video in Zion czcams.com/video/tc-28qEtv7Y/video.html
