⚡🤙🏼 *Minis are ridiculously fun,* especially when the bushings are dialled in right to your preference 🤙🏼⚡ I love Venom and Blood Orange bushings, designed for stability at speed. Orangatang & Riptide bushings are great for people who want more rebound for an easier carve. A friend of mine has had 2 faulty batteries with Mini 2, so his replacement also needed replacin, so I recommend the belt drive Ownboard M1 mini.
What became of your Mini 2, has it lasted? I decided to get the Mini 2S with Cloudwheels, it's perfect for my work commute and surprisingly powerful. I would have preferred the purple grip tape, but I still reckon the design looks better than other minis. Just in terms of raw hardware though, you can't go wrong with Wowgo for the price. Most of the parts are reasonably generic, so you can shop around for spares (which I intend to do when the warranty expires). The mobile app support and padded grip tape on the 2S helped convince me to go for the upgrade. I've put 250kms on it in just a couple weeks.
Funny enough, I too recently decided to get the mini2s. There will be a video on that and how it compares to the hubmotor mini2. But yes I agree, the wowgo mini board has the best visual appeal.
nice first review! how was the customer service like for getting a new battery? I've got this board coming and I'm worried about the common trend among threads regarding wowgo's poor customer service and the battery being faulty on the mini 2.
We just emailed back and forth. They will request some videos for you to record, but since they kept with me and sent me a new battery, I give them a thumbs up for this customer service experience. It sucks if the battery they are using defective, cause the rest of the board is great.
This was very helpful I really want to buy this one and I think I will and add Clouds on the purchase Nice video man Question How is the maintence on this board? Do you think is hard or just some oil/cleaner here and there?
Probably less maintenance than a belt driven board. So far I've just been cleaning the underside with a damp rag/wipes when it gets dirty. Bearings would probably be the other thing on my mind after that. Also making sure all the screws are staying tight.
Great review! I have a Mini Go2 as well and agree with many of your points especially the battery. Have you gotten a new one sent from Wowgo more than once?
170 miles is far far too short for an electric skateboard battery to give out, that is certainly a faulty battery and not a simple wear and tear situation. Anywys great video!
The wowgo 2S is a hub motor, so im not sure what kind of pneumatics would even fit on that. I dont think I would try pneumatics on something like that.
I just bought 2 cheap bike likes and wrapped them around the trucks, right above the bushing. I lost the front one, so now im just using a tail light. Something like using shredlights and their mounts is likely a better option.
Save your money. The list : small battery that will strand you. Short board length will make you fly off the board. Other Esk8’ers will laugh at you. No customer service as oppose to other companies.
@@RicoWorldPeace I long board. You don’t understand that obviously. I’ve grown lazy in my old age, so an electric board for me is awesome. I really don’t care what you think of me on my Backfire. I’m not riding to impress you. I’m not competing with any electric unit’s or electric bikes for that matter. A long board is similar to surfing. The gravity accelerates your board. It’s natural. Riding my E board is a different ride. Still enjoyable. I’m pushing 1k miles on my backfire. Worth every penny. E Unicycle?? You do you boo 😒
Anyone who laughs at you for your chosen means of transport is a tiny-minded, immature child whose ego is attached to their personal possessions and they are not worth worrying about.

whats your favorite mini board?
I hit 460 miles on my mini just a week ago and I have to say it's performance has carried on beautifully without fail
What's the range your getting ?
Thanks for the metric figures!

Only the one replacement so far. Its a different battery pack from the original and so far it's holding up. Crossing my fingers this one stays alive.
Great review😊😊😊

Love the video bro ❤
The battery size for the other boards is not for distance. It is for Air travel. Smaller battery option is for flying.
What do you think of the 2S compared to this? You could possibly fit pneumatic tires on the 2S instead of Cloudwheels.

Bro where do you live? That place looks amazing
The video was shot around some different places, but alot of the footage is around Lake Tahoe.
i have a different battery in mine for some reason. i have a button on the side with no battery indicator lights.
😎🖤
I ordered mine yesterday, how have you equipped the lights ?

Yeah the range isn't it but everything else is perfect :)

EUC riders are already laughing at you, no matter what board you own, I wouldn't use that as an excuse not to get one.

Exactly

That board sucks
How so? Vs what?
@@wonow7674 short range and not as comfortable.
Wow! Great review.
