    MTSS injury - overuse. I might be wrong. That'd be my guess. Id recommend a physio. Use a bread scraper to massage the muscle, reduce load. Strengthen with some heal lifts.

    The region looks like a tibalis posterior tendon region. Get an urgent physio appointment, some hands on, consider taping and keep them fingers crossed. I will be at outlaw so hope you make it mate

    Your likely describing a tear with inflammation - at least for now. It could easily become a rupture without recovery and treatment. You're looking at 2-6 weeks recovery from a tear compared to 2-6 months recovery from a rupture.
