- KUIU Spain's Pedro Ampuero travels to Azerbaijan to bowhunt East Caucasian Tur. Traveling through the Caucasus Mountains on horseback, Pedro manages to score the largest Dagestan Tur ever harvested with a bow.
I just watched this video twice because it is so entertaining!!! This video is great. It shows a bit of the culture and makes you wish you were not at work watching youtube videos but rather that you were there with these KUIU guys! Hunt, Fish, Dive, live big, live outdoors and enjoy life like these guys. You can see it on Pedro's face, loving life! #winningatlife

What a shot! I just drew for a bighorn sheep ram tag in New Mexico. First time putting in for it and got lucky. I’ve been consumed by sheep hunting videos. This is by far one of the best videos I’ve seen so far. Great job.

why do they hunt this goats? can somebody tell me, are they harmful for plantation or something. i learned some farmers hunt hogs because they ruin their fields. is this have same reason or smth.

To people who are so "morally" obligated to comment that he should have not killed the animal you have to understand that these hunters "bowmen" really are up for a challange, and ofcourse the animals they hunt are not endangared, seasonal hunting allows hunting of "mature animals", which indeed helps the eco system. If you can eat chicken, beef which are being slaughtered in masses this is quite alright, and most of all these animals do have natural predators which will give them morre excrutiating pain than these hunters will. What this dude did wrong is not aim properly, he made the death long which should not be the aim.

Tur are it's own species sometimes called a goat-antelope. It is genetically closer to the Chamois than an Ibex though not remotely.
It's a different species than ibex but it's a goat, genus Capra, same as ibex and domestic goat.

After that they said the animal was beautiful, they could not eat it alive like a lion, an animal, later they fried it cooked it and ate it and enjoyed it even more. CONGRATULATION!!!!!!!!!!! Those mountains and valleys was their home until you came and mudered them now its not save anymore for them and their families
I do think that making hunting legal like this protect the animals more and raises awareness for the welfare of these animals. It also provides the people who live in those place a means of living and also the government. They also do not waste the meat and eat it for consumption. And since the people benefit from these activities, they will protect and preserve these aninals. For sure this activity is regulated. Look at other places where hunting is supposed to be illegal, their wild animals are now endangered. In our country where hunting of our local deers is illegal has not help the species in anyway because the locals do not care in anyway. They are now endangered and may go extinct in the near future. I understand that you want the ideal situation and I want that too, but by being realistic we can achieve better results that are feasible. Please let me know your thoughts.
