They were able to name most of the Kardashians, so that’s OK! That’s what’s important.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The Kardashians? Hmmm...I know they're not professional athletes I don't know any movies in which they have appeared or any hit songs they have recorded. But i think I have seen all of them naked. So I am gonna assume they are merely nude models or perhaps highly paid escorts?
@@drchapman6501 I don’t know why I got a reply personally from you, I wasn’t the one that commented on the Kardashians. All thought it was a pretty humorous answer. Sadly, I have to say I was surprised how ignorant the kids were but maybe it was true that the group was a set-up for tv.
@Laurie Reinertsen I am sorry. I can honestly say I did not address my comment to you personally. In fact I did not even see your comment until you addressed me. And reflecting on my original comment, it was not my wittiest moment. My personal apologies to you and anyone else offended by my comment. Illinois is the state, and Springfield is the Capital (not Chicago, but is the largest city).
A lot of people think New Orleans is the capital of Louisiana. But they would be wrong. Baton Rouge is the capital of Louisiana. And New Mexico is NOT a country. It is one of the 50 states of the United States.
Hey, wasn't the Iliad written by a bloke from Springfield?
What's sad is these people are actually allowed to make big decisions that can affect everyone.
Yea. They're called senators. Space lasers start forest fires is the best one I've heard recently.
Lol This makes me feel very good about my level of knowledge. In honesty though while this is cringy they almost certainly interviewed many more people and compiled the dumbest ones together to make this video.
Any video that you see where it is a compilation of dumb answer, they take only the best ones, of course. The issue is how do you find more than 1 person this stupid. Im in awe
This makes me sad that our education system is so poor, we graduated these people and we are probably footing the bill for them to go to Community College and subsidizing them in many ways. Shame on their parents and our government if you ask me. At 68 I knew the answer to every one of the questions except the Kardashians. That is something I can live with.
This kid has MANY videos of asking kids questions. Go check out his channel.
@@dbsagacious Exactly! The really sad thing is when it's university students- how do you graduate high school and get into a university when you can't do grade school math, know history that an 8 year old should know, etc.?

I'm Canadian and I know that there are 50 stars (one for each State) and 13 strips (one for each of the original colonies) on the US Flag.
Me too from where
Thank you Chris.
Fun fact: Before making the number of stripes permanently 13 we had actually added a stripe along with a star... by the time we got up to fifteenth state we decided against adding stripes.
I really wish he would tell them when they are wrong. It is one thing to talk to an ingnorant person and another to allow them to think they are right.
He says yes because previously he would correct them and they would argue with him
If you told them the correct answers they wouldn't retain the information anyway.
Or at least add some that know the right answers.
@@tammyparsons5656 I've read studies on this and you're mostly correct.

Damn it! I thought we could protect our cousins from this video. They shouldn’t have seen this, but now they know our true “COLORS” today. Come on America we need to step up our game, to get in the world game!!
The banter between James and Millie in this one made the entire video 🤣
I'm at the end of Gen X. There's idiots in every generation but it's still sad to see stuff like this.
Anyway a dime is worth 10 cents here in the US so there's 10 dimes in a dollar. It's an elementary school question.
I'm bad at Geography but I can name over 5 countries easily. I'm not very smart but I always feel a lot smarter
after watching videos like this one. Edit: I couldn't name any of the Kardashians since I don't care.
James was close. Biden is our 46th President.
I am very visually oriented so I have trouble rattling off math answers unless I draw the picture of it in my head. BUT even I can do 3x3=9 9x3=27. Good grief. How do they pay bills or make sure they're getting the proper change?
As an american who can sweep the floor with the questions. I agree.
Right I didn't know all the Kardashians but I know them but I could answer most of the questions as soon as he ended the question
I'm part of Gen Z, like you guys as well, and I can promise you not all of us are like this lol.
Hey don't sell yourselves short.
You are both very bright people and that's one of the reasons I really like your videos.
Listening to these people answer is like the movie idiocracy.
No. Do not excuse them. "Who fought in the Civil War" is some basic, 6th/7th grade history that EVERY American should ABSOLUTELY know. These questions are an indictment on our public school system, and we're wondering why our nation is falling behind in GDP. I can't imagine.
What?
100 pennies/cents makes up 1 dollar, there's nickel/ 5 cents, dime/10 cents, quarter/25 cents, and here in Canada a loonie is 1 dollar, but other than that we use basically the same names for our coins as the US, other than Canada discontinued pennies.
I just wanted to say some of your guys coins are pretty cool. I don't remember if it was a dollar or half dollar that is two tone with the silver and gold look. What year did Canada stop doing pennies? I feel like I've heard about that at some point in my life.
The coin with the 2 colors would be the toonie (the 2 dollar coin) and it's been probably more than 5 years since we ditched the pennies, but a few years ago I found one on the sidewalk so I keep it in my wallet for good luck.
The American/Canadian/Australian (and probably others) coin that is 1/100 of a dollar is called a cent. Pennies are British coins that are 1/100 of a pound.
We also have dollar gold coins, dollar silver coins, 50 cent peices and 2 dollar bills.
@@joe3eagles The value is 1 cent, but the physical coin is called a penny. At least US and Canada, not totally sure on Australia.
I lived in New Mexico for 8 years, I was always shocked at how many people out of state thought it was part of Mexico 🤣

The thing that got me was that he replied yes to everyone's awful guesses. It might be better to give them the right answers.
I think he does it to emphasize how dim they are. It is a form of mockery, really. He appears friendly to them to get them to talk on camera, but he is really just taking advantage of them for the video.
He has to reveal the truth after cuttng the camera, before he gets the release to use the footage. He avoids enraging the people. Those reactions where they are embarrased are not aired in these clip compillations.
They didn't learn the information the first time, while in school.
They won't retain any of this information, now, if he gave it to them.
I think he had people argue that they were right when they were wrong so he just started saying yes to everything. (I could be wrong but just something I read)
It takes about a day to find the few that don't know the answers to the questions asked. Back on Jay Leno's Tonight, he had to film over several days just to get the few that made good TV.
Says who? Don't believe you. I think you wish to ignore how mind-bendingly ignorant the majority of humans walking around you everyday actually are.
Finally someone with common sense
He was being kind saying 3x3x3. If he had said 3 cubed their heads would have exploded.
These people are what our men and women in uniform are fighting for. People who dont even know where they live or know the history of their own country...its so sad... what is being taught in school? I asked my 8 year old son a couple of these questions and he answered half of them right, and under 5 seconds!
How cherrypicked were these responses though cause you only see what they want you to.
I would not necessarily blame the schools. People can actively tune out what they don't want to hear, and the best of school systems cannot make apathetic students learn. U.S. public schools have to take all students, even the ones who don't give a rodent's hairy rear end about learning anything. Rather, these people are more an embarrassment to their families, not the rest of us.

@@theflamingeagle572 Yes I know, It is a knock-off of Leno's jaywalking interviews.
These gotcha videos do rely on the phenomenon that people tend to get rattled in situations where they are in front of a camera and microphone, in a setting where they do not normally expect to face test questions. I mean, I would like to think I would answer all of these pretty quickly, even if I was somewhat ambushed on a day out. But I think it'd possible I might actually mess up a couple of easy questions that I normally would nail easily if I was sitting at a desk and prepared. So, people are not at their best in these situations. But even so. . .
I'm 38 and I'm sitting there yelling the answers and getting mad at how dumb they are. I'm over here spitting out the answer as soon as he finishes the question and they are having to think. Either public schools suck at teaching now or younger people are more worried about celebrities or trying to be famous
I hate the fact that these kids just get a pass for everything nowadays they will not even hold children back when they fail in schools near me. Even worse, they do not learn anything aside from getting handouts and pity parties and blast anyone they do not agree with.....I'm only 37, I think..

No it makes us look bad to the entire world the thing is people actually believe it.
The only question I didn't know was how many Kardashians? I am proud I didn't know that.
I'm 44 years old and have lived in Canada my entire life. Although I'm also an American citizen. It's painful to watch how little these people know. You two in Jersey know more than them. And all of this is common knowledge as far as I'm concerned. Especially for an American.
It is completely embarrassing. But to know they are sharp on the Kardashian facts reveals where their headspace is. Kids today seem to only care about tik tok, insta, and other social media and being an inflluencer.
We aren’t all like this! I’d say you mostly find these people in NYC and LA. I can answer all of it without thinking. It also seems to be more prevalent with those who spent their high school with smart phones

Unless you're Obama or Biden

I can't even finish watching this is because it's so SAD!!!
I'm 33 and know all those questions, because I was programmed to know. It's clear the education system doesn't want to program the youth about history, especially in cities.
Window lickers are always a great laugh.
This guy simply says Yes to even obvious wrong answers. He never corrects them.
It's very frightening to know, that some day these people will be in charge! Evidently they don't teach anything in school any more. Maybe, these people never attended school! OMG! Unreal!
Now I think I understand why Joe Biden sounds so stupid when he is speaking on camera.
I was being waited on in Walmart not too long ago when their computer froze up. All they had left to do was total up my purchases and add on the tax. I totaled it up in my head and told them what my purchases would come to. I told them I may be off a penny because I didn't know what the city tax in their city was. True enough, I was off by a single penny. The clerk couldn't total up my purchases using pencil and paper. And they were so far off in guessing a ballpark figure.
They'll never be in charge.
_"Welcome to Costco, I love you."_
Beesley's should do a British version of these types of Questions. Maybe head to Piccadilly Circus or Leicester Park and ask some British Gen Zs the same type of questions. Like
How many sixpence in a pound?
Who fought in the War of the Roses?
Name the 4 countries that make up the UK.
What is the body of water between the UK and France called?
What does 9X9X9 equal?
This video shows the sad state of the education program currently in use here in the U.S.A. I believe that the experiment of Government controlled schools has shown itself to be a failure of incredible magnitude and needs to be put back under the direct control of the local people using the schools. You two know more about the U.S. and its history than the average person on this video, and there is no acceptable excuse for that in my opinion. Keep up the fun, love your videos.
OH MY GOD. Pray for Millie. I can not compute what I saw.
What year was America founded? That's a complicated question. Was the country founded when other Declaration of Independence was written and sent (1776)? When the Constitution was signed (1789)? When the first Europeans settlers landed at Jamestown (1607)? When he asked when England was founded, that's obviously even harder but I'd probably answer 1066 when the Normans conquered the place and superseded the older Anglo-Saxon dynasty which never ruled a united England.
Don't give them the benefit of the doubt.Thats why you guys deserve to be citizens more than a lot that are.
To be fair, a couple of those questions were tricky for anyone. I can't tell offhand the number of Presidents because it's not really all that important to me, and most people would guess either 1776 (when the Colonies declared independence from England) or 1787/1789 (when the Constitution was drafted/ratified) when the technical year of the United States' founding was 1777 when the Articles of Confederation and Union was ratified.
The actual date America was founded was July 2, 1776 when we declared independence from Britain. It was signed into law on July 4, 1776. That is the legal date of when we were founded as United Colonies. On Sept. 9, 1776, the term United Colonies was changed to United States of America but the date of legal founding is still July 4th, 1776 - Independence Day.
Yeah the number of presidents would have been tricky I just remember everyone always referring to Trump as “45” so that was the only reason I know it’s 46 🤷🏻♂️
No - Independence Day - July 4, 1776 - ibit: see my answer.
True, but it sure wasn't 1995.
True but 1995 was hysterical.
Dime in $0.10, you are thinking a penny which is $0.01. meaning 10 would have been correct. 100 would be correct if the question was about a penny. The President question is confusing. If you are counting the presidents under the articles of confederation you will get a different answer.
The official title under the Articles of Confederation was The President of the United States IN CONGRESS ASSEMBLED. This position was little more than the presiding official for Congress; it was NOT the same position as we know the Office of the President of the United States today to be.
Number of presidents 10 years ago would have been more difficult. Trump touted his 45 every chance he got so it made it easier to remember
