- ईरान के राष्ट्रपति इब्राहिम रईसी और विदेश मंत्री हुसैन अमीर-अब्दुल्लाहियन की हेलिकॉप्टर क्रैश में मौत हो गई है. इब्राहिम रईसी रविवार को पूर्वी अज़रबैजान प्रांत में बांध का उद्घाटन करके लौट रहे थे तभी उनका हेलिकॉप्टर क्रैश हो गया था.
इस हादसे में राष्ट्रपति और विदेश मंत्री समेत नौ लोगों की मौत हुई है. एक धार्मिक स्कॉलर से, वकील और फिर ईरान की क़ानून व्यवस्था के शीर्ष तक पहुंचने वाले रईसी देश में दूसरे नंबर के धार्मिक नेता भी थे.
