Oddly enough my cat's nose drips too when she's happy and purring. Nothing seriously wrong with her according to the vet. There is a surgery to fix it, but it's not worth it since it would risk her life and she's perfectly healthy. I just deal with having a happy snotty kitty. lol I choose to take it as a compliment that she loves me so much. 😅😊

I brush my golden girl twice a day. Once before work and once before bed. My house still gets covered. I have a half pantry shelf full of lint rollers. But she makes my life so much better, I wouldn’t give her up for anything. I even take an allergy pill every morning because I’m allergic to her. I come home from work and she’s standing at the door waiting for our afternoon walk, wagging her tail and giving me endless amounts of love. She’s 12 years old and I’m cherishing every single minute I have with her.
I also have a bichon (I SWEAR IT IS A REAL BREED) and he always climbs up my legs (HOW?!!??!) and barks constantly. One time, he got into my inflatable pool (the bigger one, im not a mini kid) and he barked and I almost fell ou2😂

Pets in general are SO worth all the mess and quirky things they do because they give us endless amounts of fun and love. They do it unconditionally and they never judge us! How can we live without them?

My sister dated a guy with an AKC golden. I'm a cat person, but that giant furball was the goofiest, sweetest thing I've ever met. He was a super shedding living window cling that also loved wall roobs, but not as much as he loved leg roobs. I'm a pretty small guy, I only stand 5' tall on a good day, and that beast of a dog would constantly knock me over for cuddles. Bless him.

I have a poodle crossed with a golden retriever and he loved ripping stuff up when he was younger, he would rip up pillows on the couch when we were gone and look so proud of himself when we got back and saw the mess he made
I grew up with a golden retriever! His name was Sparky and he was the most mellow dog ever. He was pure-blooded, so our dad liked to call him a 'pure-blood attention hound'. Not a single memory of ever hearing him bark. He liked chilling in either our dad's office, out in the backyard, or in front of the back door. Also liked doing this thing where he jumps up to the backyard wall like he's trying to see over, hops down, spins in a circle and does it all over again. Unfortunately passed away at 13 years old because he was old and sick, so we decided to put him down. My favorite memory of him is probably the time I woke up in the middle of the night to Sparky draped over my legs on my bed XD still don't know how he got up there, and hadn't been up there since despite mine and my brother's best efforts lol

Sparky was a big doggo who wasn't too fond of going up things (like stairs or onto beds). We didn't grow up with bunk beds lol; me and my brother have our own separate rooms
When I come home from work and he sees me, he acts like a giant wind-up toy. For 1-2 minutes he jumps and runs in a circle with happiness. The happiest dog in the world!😁
Our Gryphon runs to say hello, immediately abandons me to grab a toy from his basket, brings it to me to present it with such pride, all while doing the booty wiggles and happy squeaks! Goldens are the BEST! ❤

My golden is the sweetest, smartest girl ever. She’s a black golden (yep. That’s a thing) and so we call her a gothic retriever. She loves hugs and she likes to hold hands. She will literally walk up to you and hold out her paw and want you to hold it! If you let go before she does she’ll just hold out her paw to you again! She’s such a sweetie. And so smart too!

Kinda like how albino is still the same race and genetics, just a slight mutation. Just like how a Labrador isn't identified by its fur color but rather the body shape and genes

I had a Golden when I was a teenager. He was a little bit bigger thanTucker. I didn't have the problem with hair all over the place though. I brushed him almost every day. It wasn't a big process. It was actually enjoyable, as he loved to have it done. When I would grab thr brush, he would happily follow me to where I would sit down, then he would back up close to me and sit down... eagerly waiting for the brushing. It must have felt so good to him to have him so cooperative. He was a blessing for sure!

Pets in general are SO worth all the mess and quirky things they do because they give us endless amounts of fun and love. They do it unconditionally and they never judge us! How can we live without them?

At first it seems like a hassle then you get used to it and it doesn’t take that much more work. rivers from the water bowl, just keep a mop handy near their station. fur piling up? a handheld vacuum always nearby

My sister dated a guy with an AKC golden. I'm a cat person, but that giant furball was the goofiest, sweetest thing I've ever met. He was a super shedding living window cling that also loved wall roobs, but not as much as he loved leg roobs. I'm a pretty small guy, I only stand 5' tall on a good day, and that beast of a dog would constantly knock me over for cuddles. Bless him.

I grew up with a golden retriever! His name was Sparky and he was the most mellow dog ever. He was pure-blooded, so our dad liked to call him a 'pure-blood attention hound'. Not a single memory of ever hearing him bark. He liked chilling in either our dad's office, out in the backyard, or in front of the back door. Also liked doing this thing where he jumps up to the backyard wall like he's trying to see over, hops down, spins in a circle and does it all over again. Unfortunately passed away at 13 years old because he was old and sick, so we decided to put him down. My favorite memory of him is probably the time I woke up in the middle of the night to Sparky draped over my legs on my bed XD still don't know how he got up there, and hadn't been up there since despite mine and my brother's best efforts lol

@@MissEasyPeasySleasy no actually! Twin-sized single bed that was a couple inches taller than he was while standing on all 4's. Sparky was a big doggo who wasn't too fond of going up things (like stairs or onto beds). We didn't grow up with bunk beds lol; me and my brother have our own separate rooms
When I come home from work and he sees me, he acts like a giant wind-up toy. For 1-2 minutes he jumps and runs in a circle with happiness. The happiest dog in the world!😁

I just lost my Golden Retriever about a week ago. All I can say is enjoy their sweet sweet soul and personality while it lasts, they are a gift to this planet that we should not take for granted

My golden is the sweetest, smartest girl ever. She’s a black golden (yep. That’s a thing) and so we call her a gothic retriever. She loves hugs and she likes to hold hands. She will literally walk up to you and hold out her paw and want you to hold it! If you let go before she does she’ll just hold out her paw to you again! She’s such a sweetie. And so smart too!

@@shannond1511 it's about their genes, rather than their looks. They belong to the race golden retriever, even If the colouring is a bit different. Kinda like how albino is still the same race and genetics, just a slight mutation. Just like how a Labrador isn't identified by its fur color but rather the body shape and genes

I had a Golden when I was a teenager. He was a little bit bigger thanTucker. I didn't have the problem with hair all over the place though. I brushed him almost every day. It wasn't a big process. It was actually enjoyable, as he loved to have it done. When I would grab thr brush, he would happily follow me to where I would sit down, then he would back up close to me and sit down... eagerly waiting for the brushing. It must have felt so good to him to have him so cooperative. He was a blessing for sure!
