I felt this whole movie. He was simping hard especially how she was disrespectful the whole time. Rude in the restaurant, late to the first date and even when he started suspecting she was doing something, he still was buying and doing for her. But what got me was she knew his history with relationships, she knew she wasn't in love with him, she knew she was still in love with the ex. Ladies, be honest with yourself. Stop using men that you are not passionate about, stop playing both ends wanting your cake and eat it too, taking their money, wasting their time just to go cheat. Friends and family warned her and she decided to do what she wanted to do again be disrespectful. She got burned literally and you will too.
Facts and that happens in real life people will express they was hurt by an ex cheating and the new partner knows this and would do the same! That can fucked a persons faith.

This movie was on point until it got to the part where he shot the dude’s wife and kid. He could’ve just torture his cheating fiancé and her lover then kill them two, why did he have to kill 2 innocent people that had nothing to do with it…. Movie still is very intense and realistic.

I think this part touched on the complexity of the matter in terms of him being, initially, portrayed as a good man. My estimation of him is that he had good intentions but he was a bit selfish himself just as the lady was but in a less obvious way. One piece of evidence for his selfishness/entitlement was at times in the movie he expressed his frustration of women wanting “bad boys.” There was entitlement in that because he has to understand that people have a right to like what they like and want what they want. He’s not entitled to a woman’s interest. This entitlement got him in trouble namely in his dating choices and getting hurt repeatedly. He has a right to want what he wants BUT he has to ask the question as to if those women want him. I think him targeting the family of the guy was out of jealousy, to some degree, of the guy. Unlike him, the guy had offspring and another woman hence communicating to him that the guy didn’t have issues with getting the best from women (the type he likes).
Cont… That’s why when they were tied up he asked the lady, “why couldn’t you do that for me” in terms of the type of sex being had. He even said, why do you women love bad boys. His character needed to learn how to love himself and to find a woman that would receive what he had to offer and appreciate him for who he is. Deep down, he knew that he wasn’t her type. That’s why in the film he started buying her expensive stuff, including a luxury vehicle, even though they literally just met and started dating. He figured he had to appeal to her through finance to make up for what he lacked for her to organically be appealing to her. To some degree, he was trying to buy her love and affection. The so called bad boys ex didn’t have to even buy her a deli sandwich to get that. There’s so much I can say about this film.
This movie REALLY hit home for me bc ALL MY LIFE I’ve been the good girl who loved bad guys. And they seemed to love me . But I always found myself unhappy and going through it bad I relationships! Finally in my mid 30 I can appreaciate a guy like Ethan in this movie . I would love and cherish him. I think pain drove him crazy! But think if she had of treated him right nothing would’ve went wrong!!!
I will always believe in life that what happens to you is 10% and 90% is how you react to it. This man had no reason to be with this woman. She was rude and nasty, but he knew that from the beginning. Definitely should not have been around her or put a ring on it. She is a hot mess.
For those who saw this, notice when she first called and after arranging the date she hung up on him while he was still talking. He said, “She hung up on me. I think I like it.” That alone makes everything else make sense.

I cringed watching this film. From the start Ari was not an easy energy to encounter it was intense, defiant, moody, aggressive, ungrateful, and confrontational as it was impatient. Ethan was a man of high value who allowed his vulnerabilities to over shadow is own worth. It was just a recipe for disaster.

This is the case where opposites didn't attract. It was fun in the beginning but after the engagement, it all changed. You never know how a person will react when his or her heart is broken. Great movie by the way

In context I agree too. She was foul but his problem was that he made her an idol and had an idealism fantasy of what she could be. That’s why he was trying to change her at times correcting her speech patterns and her world view. He definitely brought some of that on himself. It might. You don't know what someone been through and what would cause them to snap. Not only did she cheat on him, but she chose to do it in the same way that his ex-wife did. You definitely don't be foolish enough to bring someone else in the home and sleep with them. She should have just been honest and left the man alone altogether. I'm not saying that his reaction was right, but there are some things you should know not to do at all whatsoever.
I disagree. He brought some of that hurt on himself. If you really pay attention to the dynamics in the film you’ll see he was a bit selfish and entitled himself. Ethan did WAY too much at the end. He murdered the child and the wife and they had absolutely nothing to do with it. So sad. Ari should have just left him alone if she wasn't feeling him. Why did Ethen even like her after she was so rude to him in the restaurant when he bought her food when her card wouldn't work.
I know right. The moment he murdered the mother and child in cold blood , I felt no sympathy for him. He shouldn't have text the mother but show Ari the proof from phone that's Chaos' wife he had a child with.

Wow i didn't expect this movie to be good (to me) but my overall opinion he moved to fast in that relationship and he have very bad tastes of woman bruh shoulda just focus on his career and traveled old girl was bad news from the start. He coulda got a much prettier sexy woman. But thats what desperation do to some man.
The moral of the story is to give grace to those who have scars. As someone who has endured a lot from the world of dating, you never know how hurting someone could affect that person’s life. Obviously this movie was to the extreme; but the message was clear.
It is odd how most people say it was his fault. Yes. He should have reconsidered based off of some of the things that she displayed from the beginning. But I guess he didn't want to just judge a book by its cover and dismiss her based on a few poor qualities. I have reason to believe that many people would be saying the opposite it were the other way around.
Interesting perspective and I can dig that. I think what some are saying is that he made some poor choices in the matter hence the results. The thing I quickly noticed about him is that he was exhibiting what some men accuse certain women of doing which is wanting a thug and a gentleman all in one. He wanted a thot and a wife material woman all in one. He and people like him have to realize that people are just people at the end of the day. Hence, we cannot make someone be something they do not want to be. His problem was that he was attracted to her ratchedness but at the same time was trying to mold her into a stereotypical proper suburbia type of person. She wasn’t that nor did she want to be that. The man had a bit of a superiority complex as well as a hero complex as if she was just so low in life that he needed to think for her and save her. Plus, he knew that he wasn’t her type hence why, for example, he quickly started showering her with gifts. They hadn’t known each other for a whole month I think and this man bought her a luxury car smh. He did that to appeal to her & keep her “interested.” Do you think her ex had to go that length to get her interest? No. She probably was even buying her ex stuff when they were together. Point being is that he wasn’t what she truly liked hence him moving the way he did. He did all that to create a sense of “balance” in the matter because it was naturally unbalanced hence unequally yoked. Even at the beginning of the film, it’s evidence that this man likes certain types of women and ends up in the predicaments that he does. Nothing wrong with him having a preference. The thing with him is he has to think on will that preference of a woman truly love and dig him. Has to be reciprocal in order for it to work. He also needs to assess himself and see why he puts himself in those situations. His character needed to learn how to love himself. I also think that he saw her as a trophy piece to show he finally got the “woman.” Just some food for thought sis but appreciate your input. Definitely something to consider 💯

This is a very bad way to look at this. It screams entitlement! Look at it like this, my question to you, since you threw it out there, is why would you want to even be with someone in the first place who acts like that? At that rate the problem starts with you and others who hold this mentality. People have a right to like what they like and want what they want. If this particular woman, for example, likes to date thugs and the like then why would I trip off of that if I’m not that? All it means is that I’m not her preference and that I need to find a woman who’s on what I’m on. Here’s the problem, I think some people are measuring their worth off of what another may desire. Didn't expect the ending. I wonder does he purposely choose women he know is going to use him. Check out the last scene of the movie. I think he enjoys the toxic adventure.

This movie is so GOOD! Honestly, she was a walking red flag from the beginning.
All the material possessions in the world can't make a woman love you. Ethan tried to buy his way into Ari's heart. Her heart was with Chaos. Great acting and very suspenseful from start to finish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The ending? Did not see that coming. Wow! Whomever put this movie together, Hollywood is calling.
This movie was on point until it got to the part where he shot the dude’s wife and kid. He could’ve just torture his cheating fiancé and her lover then kill them two, why did he have to kill 2 innocent people that had nothing to do with it…. Movie still is very intense and realistic.

I think this part touched on the complexity of the matter in terms of him being, initially, portrayed as a good man.
My estimation of him is that he had good intentions but he was a bit selfish himself just as the lady was but in a less obvious way.
One piece of evidence for his selfishness/entitlement was at times in the movie he expressed his frustration of women wanting “bad boys.” There was entitlement in that because he has to understand that people have a right to like what they like and want what they want. He’s not entitled to a woman’s interest. This entitlement got him in trouble namely in his dating choices and getting hurt repeatedly. He has a right to want what he wants BUT he has to ask the question as to if those women want him.
I think him targeting the family of the guy was out of jealousy, to some degree, of the guy. Unlike him, the guy had offspring and another woman hence communicating to him that the guy didn’t have issues with getting the best from women (the type he likes).

That’s why when they were tied up he asked the lady, “why couldn’t you do that for me” in terms of the type of sex being had. He even said, why do you women love bad boys.
His character needed to learn how to love himself and to find a woman that would receive what he had to offer and appreciate him for who he is.
Deep down, he knew that he wasn’t her type. That’s why in the film he started buying her expensive stuff, including a luxury vehicle, even though they literally just met and started dating. He figured he had to appeal to her through finance to make up for what he lacked for her to organically be appealing to her. To some degree, he was trying to buy her love and affection. The so called bad boys ex didn’t have to even buy her a deli sandwich to get that. There’s so much I can say about this film.
This is by far one of Tubi’s best movies. Who all was team Ethan?🙋🏽♂️. Btw, this movie has totally turned me against hood chicks.

This movie REALLY hit home for me bc ALL MY LIFE I’ve been the good girl who loved bad guys. And they seemed to love me . But I always found myself unhappy and going through it bad I relationships! Finally in my mid 30 I can appreaciate a guy like Ethan in this movie . I would love and cherish him. I think pain drove him crazy! But think if she had of treated him right nothing would’ve went wrong!!!

I cringed watching this film. From the start Ari was not an easy energy to encounter it was intense, defiant, moody, aggressive, ungrateful, and confrontational as it was impatient. Ethan was a man of high value who allowed his vulnerabilities to over shadow is own worth. It was just a recipe for disaster.

In the beginning of the movie when they were in the restaurant and he was being nice and she was still rude and he was still trying to get with her. I was like " hell nah. I wouldve let her walk but i guess when you desperate anything goes😅. Truth is this is the reality of some women and men. I consider myself to be nice. I mean nice like opening the door for people, smiling, saying hello stuff like that . Old boy though. He let his guard down real quick then she told him what kind of guy she was with and he still fell in love with her. Smh. Not me. He was so into her and probably thought she could do no wrong and when he caught her banging her ex he cried like a baby because he didnt see it coming. Love can hurt you sometimes. Wow i didn't expect this movie to be good (to me) but my overall opinion he moved to fast in that relationship and he have very bad tastes of woman bruh shoulda just focus on his career and traveled old girl was bad news from the start. As someone who has endured a lot from the world of dating, you never know how hurting someone could affect that person’s life. Obviously this movie was to the extreme; but the message was clear.
It is odd how most people say it was his fault. Yes. He should have reconsidered based off of some of the things that she displayed from the beginning. But I guess he didn't want to just judge a book by its cover and dismiss her based on a few poor qualities. I have reason to believe that many people would be saying the opposite it were the other way around.
Interesting perspective and I can dig that. I think what some are saying is that he made some poor choices in the matter hence the results.
The thing I quickly noticed about him is that he was exhibiting what some men accuse certain women of doing which is wanting a thug and a gentleman all in one.
He wanted a thot and a wife material woman all in one. He and people like him have to realize that people are just people at the end of the day. Hence, we cannot make someone be something they do not want to be.
His problem was that he was attracted to her ratchedness but at the same time was trying to mold her into a stereotypical proper suburbia type of person. She wasn’t that nor did she want to be that. The man had a bit of a superiority complex as well as a hero complex as if she was just so low in life that he needed to think for her and save her.
Plus, he knew that he wasn’t her type hence why, for example, he quickly started showering her with gifts. They hadn’t known each other for a whole month I think and this man bought her a luxury car smh. He did that to appeal to her & keep her “interested.” Do you think her ex had to go that length to get her interest? No. She probably was even buying her ex stuff when they were together. Point being is that he wasn’t what she truly liked hence him moving the way he did. He did all that to create a sense of “balance” in the matter because it was naturally unbalanced hence unequally yoked.
Even at the beginning of the film, it’s evidence that this man likes certain types of women and ends up in the predicaments that he does. Nothing wrong with him having a preference. The thing with him is he has to think on will that preference of a woman truly love and dig him. Has to be reciprocal in order for it to work. He also needs to assess himself and see why he puts himself in those situations. His character needed to learn how to love himself. I also think that he saw her as a trophy piece to show he finally got the “woman.”

One with common sense would ask why one would want to date someone they feel is uncivilized and ratched. He complained about women (the kind he liked) wanting bad boys. You have to be joking right the only people in this movie that didn’t deserve to die was the wife and son he gave her plenty of opportunities for her to tell him that she didn’t want to be with him but she like the life that he provided for her when he first met her the card declined he bought her Mercedes-Benz moved her into his crib helped her with her shop now the only thing I do agree with you is that he was moving a little bit too fast and he was definitely unstable but But throughout the movie her mom her best friend tried to tell her in the ultimate disrespect is that you bringing never man into his house and sleep with them the same way he got that happened with his ex wife like you told her all you had to do was tell him that you didn’t want to be with him and he would let you walk but she didn’t want to give up all those material things that he bought her and look what happened in the end she cheated on him with a drug dealer Raheem that had a whole wife and whole child on her and honestly he was just using her to get his money just smashing her was just a icing on the cake had she would’ve told him from the beginning when she first started seeing her ex she probably would’ve still been alive and she probably would’ve found out that he was married and had a child she would’ve been broke lonely and miserable it just goes to show you the apple don’t fall far from the tree and you know what make it crazy is that she had a chance to kill him and she didn’t because deep now she know she was dead wrong I like I get it he snapped you brought another man into his house that means you had no respect for this man at all as much as he’s done for her but I get it she like bad boys it was the excitement The thrill but overall it cost her
@@shawnwilliams4784 Well really the one thing that most people will not mention is the reason why most relationships dont work is the notion of putting the responsibility of ones happiness on another person... before I got married I told my wife to be that I am not responsible for her happiness and she is not mines... I alway hate hearing He/she does not make me happy... well thats some bs there...cuz love is about UN Conditional LOVE not love with conditions.. so this movie also purposefully leaves out the troubles this guy already had--dude had some prior issues we as the viewers were not prevued too
