There was a 16 y/o fan who Vic had met in person before but she was struggling a lot with mental health. He ended up getting letters from her talking about her struggling and eventually he started getting letters and emails from her friends telling him about her unfortunate passing from suicid3. Very sad song but the meaning is truly beautiful in a way. If you remove the vocals of the slow part after the acoustic section, Vic is reading one of the notes.

2:43-3:19 there a hidden behind the song suicide note , if you listen closer you can hear it in your left ear in headphones "I don't know how much longer I can stay here on this earth. I've lost all touch with everything and nothing seems to work. And I'll never be the person that we both want me to be. I don't deserve to be alive!" A 16yr old girl named olivia wrote it to them
Vic's vocals at the end of this song make my spine tingle. Love it.

Very nostalgic for me , this song I've heard when I'm in high school. This song is so good🔥
I clicked on this as soon as I got the notification. I loved this band in high school, but it’s been a few years since I listened to them. I’m from around the same area they’re from, and I got to meet them when I was in high school. Vic (the lead singer) was chill and took time to say hi to my friend and I even though it wasn’t at a concert. He even gave us guitar picks.
I hope you continue going down a PTV rabbit hole. I haven’t heard their latest album, so I personally can’t recommend songs from that one since I don’t know any- but I’d recommend checking out Yeah Boy and Doll Face, The Balcony Scene, Wonderless, (

Earlier today I was actually listening to King for a Day with the windows down in traffic, and I had some young kids walking on the sidewalk yell at me to turn down my "boomer music". Best PTV song
Bulls in the Bronx is about a teenage girl who committed suicide in Australia. Vic met her before in the past. They took a photo together and when she passed in April of 2012. Her friends emailed them about how much she loved them and left a video behind on Tumblr. They even left a link in the email. In the bridge section before the acoustic guitar solo:
“Please don't take this out on me
'Cause you're the only thing that's keeping me alive
And I don't wanna wait for the down set date
'Cause I would rather end it all tonight
If I mean anything to you
I'm sorry but I made up my mind.”
Is basically the whole snafu of the song. But there’s also a vocal separated stem that you can’t hear. But the lead singer, Vic, quoted some words from her suicide note. It states the following:
“Don’t know, how much longer.
I can stay on this Earth.
‘Cause I’ve lost all touch of everything
And nothing seems to work.
And I’ll never be the person,
That we both wanted me to be.
I don’t deserve to be alive.”
It’s heartbreaking and that’s why I love this song and I hold it close to my heart. I’ve had two close friends that left me behind and I still think about them to this day. You can find the video on TikTok as well.
