Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar brought an understanding of black holes, neutron stars and supernovas to the scientific world. He was betrayed by the scientific community but was proven right 40 years later.

Just like Dr. Chandrashekar was ridiculed by Eddington...
Even today as we speak, the Indian science fraternity is betraying Prof. CS Unnikrishnan for his major theoretical contributions include the Theory of Cosmic Relativity.
Just because it is refuting Einstien's theories, our colonial minded scientists in India has severley punished CS Unnikrishnan and he had to even lose his job in TIFR.
