I bought it a few weeks ago...it's perfect for my tiny wrist and simply looks stunning. Got quite a few compliments while wearing it. Not that I got it for that reason...but ppl don't usually react to my Seikos 😃 my only complaint...they should've made it no date

Holy Moly this one's sooooo good lookin'! That Ice Blue dial looks fantastic. But I wish they went with a no-date version (too deep b/c of the Solar cells)
However, I feel that at that price, for a solar quartz watch, it's a little pricy ... but man oh man does it look good and it has great specs!

Great video I really hope Seiko does a Commander Pogue recreation faithful to the original with that awesome gold dia and black and blue dial option. Automatic of course,I mean it was the first automatic chronograph in space. I'm surprised they Seiko hasn't done it yet 🤔
They made Speedtimer autos which I think is a test to see if ppl would buy their auto chronos. They don't sell well. I think they won't do it. And even if they do, they don't really have the proper movement to make it nice and slim. So it would cost an arm and a leg and a reissue or remake would be really expensive and very limited

One point to make; The date window can not be placed exactly between 4 and 5 o'clock markers. It can only be placed at points where the number can be seen well through the window. There are only 31 points on the face of the watch that the date window can be placed, and 4:22 is one of them; 4:30 is not. Nice review, I enjoyed.
Are you saying it is not possible to redesign the date wheel plastic teeth to make 430 viewing possible?
@@EscapementWatch I believe they use their movements that has already been developed, and with this one, the arrangement of wheels and location of subdials does not let the watch designer choose any point he wishes for the date window. Yes, a redesign is always possible but will be too much work and cost I think
Yes this is an existing movement and cost is a factor. But I will always point it out because many people do not like it and they can fix it.

I'm sorry, but the bracelet midlinks look really tacky, it'll look very dated very soon. That scratch is unaccaptable as well.
