Minecraft beaten in 34 seconds TAS

- This is Tool Assisted Speedrun with the use glitches. It means, that i used slowdown, savestates and RNG manipulation in order to present one of fastest possible ways to beat minecraft.

Explanation for all glitches:
Duplication glitch - when you force close your game there is a chance that your inventory don't get saved making items that were droped / put into chest appear back in your inventory.
No damage - After rejoining world you get 3 seconds of invulnerability.
No pearl delay - if you rejoin after throwing a pearl there will be no throw delay.
Slow Falling - Rejoining world resets your motion, it means that if you rejoin very quickly you can fall slower or even levitate in one place.
No dragon in the end - if you place end crystal when entering the end, dragon will simply not appear and exit portal will be open.
The enderman - its actually not a glitch, but its good to be explained - 60 blocks from the spawn is a cave with water. When the world generates its possible for the enderman to spawn next to the water, then get hurt by water and teleport to nearby river. Then there is a small chance that after teleportation enderman will instanly walk into the water in the river causing it to teleport again to the golem. After receiving 2 hits from the golem it can teleport away to the player and pick sand from the ground. I know right that it sounds ridiculous, but it seems to be TECHNICALLY possible.

Yeah this is stupidly impressive but for a LOT of people it's hard to figure out what's happening and how COOL it actually is; so here's a play by play (I also recommend you read the description so see all the glitches that occur.
Part 1 - Village: (00:00s)
-Spawn in village facing ruined portal, grab tools and obsidian.
-Break netherrack block holding back lava in ruined portal.
-Turn and grab logs from nearby villager house chest.
-Use inventory duplication glitch to dupe obsidian and logs.
-Build 1st nether portal.
-Break cobblestone of villager house. (use blocks to bring the cobblestone item to you)
-Place wood near the lava (that is now leaking) so that the wood catches fire and lights the portal.
-The Enderman (check description) teleports next to the player with a sand block and drops and enderpearl when killed.
Part 2 - Nether: (08:36s)
-Enter nether and use logs to craft planks, crafting table and chests.
-With these chests duplicate the enderpearl and cobblestone
-Use cobblestone to craft furnace.
-Start smelting sand in furnace.
-Duplicate more enderpearls
-Throw an enderpearl (1st) across the nether, and then throw another one (2nd) straight upwards.
-As soon as the 1st enderpearl lands throw another towards the crimson forest (3rd).
-As soon as the 3rd enderpearl lands throw another enderpearl (4th) up towards a ridge.
-As soon as the 4th enderpearl lands throw another enderpearl (5th) across the ridge.
-As the 5th enderpearl is in the air, the 2nd (the upwards thrown one) lands, throw another enderpearl (now 6th) straight upwards).
-The 5th enderpearl lands, throw the next one to the top of the tree (7th).
-As soon as the 7th enderpearl lands throw a new up to the top of the next ridge (8th).
-(Note: These numbers are arbitrary as more than 1 pearl is throw for each movement but I'm not counting all of those. Example; roughly 10 pearls a thrown between pearl 5 and 7.)
-Whilst the 8th enderpearl is in the air put one pearl into the offhand and throw it towards an upper cave entrance (9th pearl).
-The 6th enderpearl back at the portal lands, grab the now smelted glass from the furnace.
-The 8th enderpearl lands next to a blaze, kill it and grab it's blaze rod.
-The 9th enderpearl now lands in a cave with a ghast.
-Throw the 10th (and the final counted) enderpearl towards the ghast.
-Start building your 2nd nether portal frame as the ghast turns around.
-The ghast shoots a fireball, deflect it to kill the ghast, but make sure you're deflecting it downwards so that it breaks and ground next to the portal creating fire and lighting the portal.
-Use blocks to retrieve the ghast tear item.
Part 3 - Stronghold: (28.82s)
-Place chest.
-Use chest to duplicate blaze rods, glass and enderpearls.
-Place crafting table.
-Craft Eyes of Ender.
-Craft an endercrystal.
-Duplicate the endercrystal.
-Throw enderpearls into the ceiling towards the portal room.
-Place all 12 Eyes of Ender into the portal and enter the End.
Part 4 - The End: (31.67s)
-Throw an enderpearl onto the end island.
-Place down obsian and an endercrystal.
-Throw and enderpearl towards the obsidian towers.
-Place another endercrystal.
-Explore the endercrystal you just placed, giving the enderpearl you just threw much more momentum.
-Enderpearl lands.
-Place down another block of obsidian with an endercrystal.
-Throw an enderpearl towards the open exit portal.
-Explode the endercrystal to give the enderpearl more momentum.
-The enderpearl lands on top of the exit portal.
-Fall into exit portal.
Part 5 - Actual End (34.00s)
Hopefully this has helped someone understand what is happening in this video, and understand how amazing this actually is!
Note: I am note the guy who made the video, nor do I understand Tool Assisted Speedruns, I simply read the description and watched the video frame by frame and wrote it down.
Note2: These observations could be false, there is so much happening in the video and I'm sure there is plenty of action missed within a frame. For example, upon entering the end the amount of endercrystals goes down by one, it could be that the endercrystal was placed on the obsidian end platform before the enderpearl being thrown to the end island but again, there is SO much happening within the frame so I just went with what can be seen. I can be sure however that my play-by-play gives a good understanding of what happened.

The portal needs to spawn a certain distance away so no matter what most of the run will have to be traveling

You don't need to keep putting the "it's not a real run" disclaimers in front of these runs. The amount of planning and routing makes this just as impressive as a real run, if not more so.
You'd be amazed at how many people would scream "cHeATer tHis Isn'T a ReAl RuN" if the disclaimer wasn't there, it happens a lot with TASs

its insane that the timer is going as it is normal time yet the speedrun itself is like in 10x speed
its not speeded in any way. This is how tas is, which in short is basically movements automated through code. Besides, Every precise cursor movements is already mapped out.

@Malachi Smith in the description andrefpl says "I used slowdown" (tickrate changer, speedhacks, ect.).
andrefpl ALSO says that savestates were used, which leads me to believe that I was correct in my assumptions, since there's no reason to use savestates if you're playing back a perfect set of inputs with perfect rng.
If I'm still wrong and you dont feel like being cocky anymore I'd love hear what you have to say.
@@corben3695 you are wrong, tassing is rather complicated with the different tools so I cant really explain it all. But the save states are done to make the perfect inputs, then the inputs are played back.
@@TemphinFD not always. TAS (aka Tool Assisted Speedrun) don't have to be a sequence of perfect inputs played back, like Celeste, Mario or Super Meat Boy speedruns as examples.
Slowing down the game or changing the code to improve drop rates / mob spawns is also called TAS as you use external TOOLS for achieving the best time you can :)

yes, but it was done on minecraft 1.12, where you wrong warp glitch, that allows you to multiply your cordinates by 8, without this glitch its really hard to get below 30, however its still fastest TAS for 1.16.1, isnt it? ;)

i can kind of gather that there was a chest dupe glitch involved, but it went by too fast for me to process it.

I am a very casual players, used to play a lot more when I was younger and the game was in alpha and to my untrained eye I only have one thing to say: THIS IS FUCKING NUTS. I had to low it down to 0.25 and I still have no fucking clue what's going on. It's crazy how much faster than humans computers can do tasks like these
Thank you. However you need to know that TAS in minecraft is not executed by computer, but by real human. The reason why it's so precise is because the game was slowed down 40 times, and then sped up again in editing software

Is there a possible time-save by throwing the first pearl in the nether after duping only once (at around 9.24s in) instead of after all of the duping and then the furnace setup (10.24s in)?
Not sure if this would perhaps mess with the crazy air-stasis pearls to return to the furnace for the glass later, but it could potentially save up to a second.
Edit: Forgot to mention how amazing the TAS already was, this is only a suggestion. It is already incredible how optimised it is, and I wouldn't be surprised if this idea had already been thought of and discarded.

I'm not accusing you or anything but why do you not take damage when you ender pearl travel? And why is there no cooldown on the ender pearls?

Both no damage and no pearl cooldown can be achieved by quiting and rejoining the world. The dupe works this way that if you force close your game, minecraft may not save your inventory, making items that were put into the chest appear in your inventory again
Wow the run ended before I had time to process even the start of it. Good job man! It would be nice to see the endgame screen though, there's only a few frames where you can see the portal to understand that it's already complete.

Every day, I wake up and laugh at this very funny joke for 5 uninterrupted minutes. This is the proper response to hearing a joke as magnificent as this. I then set my phone down, and applaud your comedic triumph until my hands become red. Most don't have the cognitive ability to understand a joke as complex and fascinating as this, but with an IQ of 160, I am able to understand your excellent joke. It truly is a shame that the common folk on the street are incapable of understanding your otherworldly comedic stylings. So you probably already know curcuit's 29 second run, do you want to explain what the main differences are? Like, ofc the version and the seed, but why you choose them and what you ruled out? I would watch that, even if it is a hour long!
i will try to fit the answer into one comment:
choice of version was pretty straight - Curcuit's run is best run on 1.12 and there is no way i could get better time without months of work, there is also no need to make run simmilar to what Curcuit did, if it's worse and uses exacly same strats. On the other hand i'm used to TASing minecraft 1.16, set seet glitched run was never done on this verson, so i wanted to try it even out of curiosity how quick it will be. About the seed, it was the best one i found with following criteria: ruined portal with obby, golden pick and chest with wood on spawn. There are 3 biggest differences between those versions: duping without chest is slower in 1.16, there is no teleportation exploit on 1.16 (or at least that's what i though, there MAY be coming sub 30 run for 1.16) - that's major difference that makes this run slower then 1.12 one, the third difference are structures, which are better in 1.16 (ruined portals give you easier acces for golden tools and obby, taiga villages contain wood in chests). It's also good to mention that in 1.16 golems spawn when village is generated giving you opportunity for early enderman kill. i hope that i answered your question :)

Yep, that's one of the tools they use. It sounds really tedious
you probably would've gotten a slighty faster time had you done 45 strafes whenever you had to actually walk
