Our itinerary we created was perfect and we got to see and do so much; visiting all the most important sights, having some Belgian food & beer, walking around and just enjoying the beautiful city.

I can't say that I 'visited' as I was born and raised in Brugge. And as a Bruggeling I have two tips for visitors is always : do not go eat and drink in the touristy areas of the city as quite a lot of place have a 'tourist tax' mixed in the prices and the quality really isn't as good as it is in restaurants where us locals eat and got the world fames 'The Chocolate Line' on the Simon Stevens Plein and ask to 'sniff cacao' as the cacao which is the main ingredient of chocolate goes directly to your brain, the experience is out of this world. But respect for going up the Belfry... much respect.-

It is! But I think you need to change the train in Brussels 🤔
The last time i was there was 32 years ago… debating if i should stop there again on my next trip to belgium? Or just go to ghent and Antwerp?
