Good way to end 2023, with two of my favorite Car aficionados, Donald & Jay 🥰
Jay not in the blue denim! Anyways, Beautiful house and cars!
He looks so different without it!!
The pizza looked great ❤
It's available from A Mano Pizza! amanopizzanpt.com/
Been too long, love these episodes
Great to see these two together again with an episode Happy New Year.
Happy New Year!
It’s so great to see a season six of Mansions and Motorcars❗️😬
We're just getting started!
Thank you gentlemen for another masterpiece - wishing you a Healthy New Year!! 😊
I'd like to thank Jay and Donald for giving me a great restaurant recommendation. Last June, my wife and I went to Newport, R.I. for a graduation. Having never been to Newport before I didn't know the town at all, but, also, wanting to take our son out for a nice lunch to celebrate his graduation, I relied on the intro to this series, where Jay and Donald go to the La Forge Casino restaurant for lunch, where Donald sits down for what looks like a very elegant meal. I booked us a table there and was impressed by everything: the location (right next to the Tennis Hall of Fame, in fact the restaurant patio overlooks the tennis courts, also right down the block from the Audrain car museum), the service, and especially the food. A great experience and if ever in Newport again, I'd definitely go back
Donald and Jay, I wish you both all the best in 2024 and beyond. Thank you for such interesting and enjoyable content.
wow nice ride
Modern heat insulation materials would do a lot to fix that transmission tunnel issue. A beautiful car! The house isn't bad either.
Love the Hot Rod!!!!
Here’s to much more of the automotive Dynamic Duo in the 2024. Happy New Year Donald and Jay and everyone at The Audrain.
Cheers to that... and Happy New Year!
Hey, they did film my house and nobody told me!! 😁
Besides that - what a wonderful Bizzarini. Despite the modern aftermarket steering wheel (it should have a Nardi from the days, large with a thin rim).
What a wonderful video to close out the year.
Close out the year and start the season! Hope you're excited for episode 2!
EACH CAR HAS IT'S OWN STORY BEHIND IT...
One of my fav episodes
So glad to hear that!
Yay!
When Jay & Donald were in the Ford , some song lyrics popped into my head ""Son, you're gonna drive me to drinkin' If you don't stop drivin' that hot rod Lincoln" (Charlie Ryan, 1955) I have a disability and the classic cars I'd buy are the ones where an automatic is either standard or a common change. Even if I had the money, I wouldn't mess with an air cooled Porsche or a '60s Ferrari
Bizzarrini is definitely one of the most underrated car brands and designers ever! 🥰
Not a brand, a Marque. That is the proper term for an auto maker.
@@thomasmulhall4873 bruh
You know Donald wears a bow tie to bed! 😂😂
The 5300 Strada is an all-time fave. It's cool factor is off the chart! Great video as always!
Another great episdode, gentlemen!
Thanks guys for another nice ride a long in a bunch of interesting cars!
Our pleasure! Stay tuned for episode 2!
Great episode. I'm a (relatively) younger guy but i'm obsessed with old school hot rods and really dislike anything modern. Was really cool seeing a hot rod in this episode but it's a shame they had built the exhausts so it was so quiet! I was expecting to hear the beautiful sound of the flathead but all I heard was all the noises from the suspension as you went over bumps
😂 They should have built it with an exhaust cut out at least.
Great job 👏
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone at the Audrain Museum. 🎄🎄🎄
Happy New Year!
This video has a great ending and is a great ending to the year
hmmm... Model T's from Mars... sounds like a great name for a band...
I am from 1968 and concerning this Emery Outlaw I can say, when I was 12 I read about an old 1951 356 Porsche that had crossed the line of 350.000 kilometers, it was originally equipped with a 1.300 cc 44 bhp Porsche engine after 100.000 kilometers the engine got broke. The owner having not enough money replaced with an 1200 cc VW 34 bhp engine and it did another 130.000 kilometers. Finally it received from a 1.302 VW an 1.290 cc 44 bhp engine in 1973 and it ran another 8 years .
So not always anything is original 😂
I think your theme tune suited this episode. A big slice of easy-listening lounge style from days gone by with some modern drums and production, done tastefully of course. Happy new year to all!
Happy New Year!
Music is too loud in certain driving sections. Drowns out the engine sounds.
The best days
Thanks for enjoying our videos!
Great video - loved the cars - I guess I loved Rod's 356 best though.
We can surely understand why. The work Rod and his team put out is amazing. We know you saw the podcast, but did you happen to see the shop tour video? If not, enjoy! czcams.com/video/BvyhtIt4P_k/video.html
@@AudrainMuseumNetwork Yes, saw the tour video - loved it too :)
My son just said " Is that one of those ties that squirts water out?". I don't know what they teach them at school nowadays.
I really liked seeing the hotrod, and would enjoy more “common man” vintage autos. Don’t get me wrong, I truly enjoy the exotics and learning things I didn’t know, but I’ll never be able to attain one. I’d love to also hear Donald’s and Jay’s commentary on cars like my 1941 Chevrolet occasionally. While certainly not on the level of the exotics, many common cars also exhibited style and innovation and I’d enjoy their views on them. That said, I concede the point that a common car doesn’t fit in with the grandeur of the homes visited in this show, but maybe the butler kept an old Chevy or Ford out behind the coach house.
Having seen some of Jay's collection, I find it humorous that he would describe the current price on a Bizzarrini as being "out of reach". Jay's reach is pretty long.
I guess it was down to the editing, but whatever has been done to that Porsche wasn't really explained in the film. What engine is in it for instance?
Here is a video that better explains the Emory Outlaw czcams.com/video/eNapU5a8eDw/video.html
Desmo Donald with Jay...
Can it get better than this?
I posit no....
Good lord, Jay has combed his hair
No heart for me.
That hot rod requires seat belts only to keep you in the seat not safe in case of an accident!
Nice episode gents. Jay, just saw you in Chicago. Looked like you were limping a bit on stage. You OK?
Did I miss it, or did they never say exactly what engine and drivetrain the Porsche has in it? 🤔
Here is a more detailed video on the Outlaw, also from a few years ago: czcams.com/video/eNapU5a8eDw/video.html
However, the video we did for the Porsche Club of America probably shows it off best (starting at 4:40): czcams.com/video/gchb4epJRg0/video.htmlsi=Z7CQ8c81AwWDyQ4E
Ahhh yeah, another half hour of the "The Finer Things Club for gearheads"
Can someone please relate the make and model of the car they are driving at the beginning? I'm embarrassed to admit I don't know it and, maybe I missed it, but I can't find where they actually say the make and model or where it is written in the video description.
At about 3:09 Donald Osborne announces that it's a 1968 Bizzarini 5300 GT Strada
@@waddsbadds Ah, thank you!
To be honest that car isn't Out Of Reach Jay just doesn't want to spend the money
Love the show but the AUDIO MUSIC IS TOO LOUD , it’s no fun to watch because of adjusting the SOUND , please.
I love Jay but I have to disagree I’m 29 and I still love a think of a hot rod as a 1932 ford or such. I’m an automotive enthusiast
Sure hope this is an editing one off & not the way this show is going! Very little house, too short & never even told us what motor in the Outlaw. Happy New Year anyway....
Don’t be like that. I mean jay leno is in it so it’s definitely gonna be a good season
Love these shows, but is it just me or is that background music way too loud, and way too annoying?
"I'm going to wait until the price comes down" I've made that mistake many times.
As all car enthusiasts have at some point. When will we learn?
RT: Don't oh brother..jay go to
England .vw.s English car is a disaster.. Bentley..you are Bentley..see you soon
Good idea with porsche as they were underpowered although I don't like porsche looks they don't have grille, remind me of those ugly teslas.
I did not like this show one bit. I Sure did not like what they did to the cars, especially the iconic Porsche. If they wanted a modern car under the classic shape, they could have done it to a REPLICA. I also was not much impressed by the house. As for the lame Bizzarini, it looks like an elephant sat on its hood and roof.
Cry 😂
Even rich people can't get away from leaf blowers. Should be banned
