9:09 Definitely one of the hand-bumps of all time
Ben i was at the leadership day, man your speech was awesome
im a 99.9% sure i could lift this, but man i would love to have come there and really try it. love challenges like this.
Looks like he made it out of a "Rolling Grip Thing" by grip genie
Similar and the original version is the rolling thunder from iron mind
You could buy one of those handles and load them up to 150lbs
There's actually grip strength competitions all over called "arm lifting" that use implements like this
just gotta have large hands and moderate strength
Hey Ben! You came to the city and presented in front of us, it was (young leaders day) you told us everything about you, I can’t wait to congratulate you on passing 1million subscribers. And congratulations on 500k subscribers!
Hi Ben! You were my favourite speaker at the national young leaders day. Thanks for coming!
Those are some strong mittens Ben 🤙🏽 These public challenges are fun to watch.
I was at the national young leaders day you were so good
Although a certain level of strength is necessary, it's far more about hand size than anything else. The bigger your hands, the more easily they can wrap around the large-diameter of the bar and - crucially.- make an almost-closed fist.
When your fingers can close all the way around to your palm, they tend to "lock" there, and your grip strength goes through the roof.
If your fingers can't reach around the bar to "lock" in this way, there is no chance you'll ever be able to lift this, regardless of how strong you are.
Lots of people can load a ton of weight on bars they can't lock their hands around. For a remarkable example see: czcams.com/video/aDMf3G4imrg/video.html
It's definitely much easier the bigger your hands are, but there are two reasons this is so hard for people who could otherwise easily lift 65 kg. First, you get strong in the positions that you train, so if you only lift up barbells your hand only gets strong in that very closed position and it won't transfer very much to the much more open-handed position of a fat grip. Second, most people don't train to become very strong at flexing their wrist even if they train to be strong at other movements. This means with a rolling grip like that, they don't have the strength to flex their wrist and keep their fingers under the handle. Instead, the handle rotates, their wrist cocks back, and the handle slips out of their fingers.
But if you are in Australia this briefcase should fall into the heaven. Hmmmm 🤔
At 6:17 - he's telling you that his ego is bruised...
Ahhh I sore you at the student leader thing
ngl best paid promotion snippet I seen in a minute. Super honest and down to earth. Love the content bro 🔥
Thoes cops 😂
Easy money, I can do it with my little finger.
Does the Size of hand matter while lifting this?
Also any exercises you'd advise that can make someone to lift the 65kg Suitcase ?
Grip strength would be useful.
With a bigger hand, you can work much better against the turning of the Handle. With big enough hands, you can grip your fingers with your thumb and block the rotation. (Same way to win the 100 sec hang challenge). With smaller Hands you need much more grip strength or a different technique as shown in the video (using the whole hand as hook).
@@tinydragon2013 Damn, I wish these 100 sec hang scams were actual 100 sec hangs in my country. The least I saw was 120 sec (2 min) and some of them go up to 200 sec (!). And the payout is nowhere near $100. More like $10.
The people who could lift it had mostly straight arm, bigger hands and stood up from the legs not from the back. It's a lot of technique involved I think
Yea it's the same with rock climbing. In rock climbing you want straight arm.
It's a lot of technique involved? How do I improve my hand size technique then?
Great video Ben 😊
8:42 an italian man studying cooking in australia? you'd think it would be the other way around
Awesome vid Ben! 😂
Paul
This is the briefcase my grandfather took to work
vai così Marco! 💪
Love the video!
The real question here: Ben went working?
I embed got a photo with your ember?
The first dude used his thumb to prevent the handle from spinning. That's the secret button.
that eddie guy. he looks oddly familiar to me from youth group. could be edward from YMT perth
was that filmed in Perth? :)
Yes!
@@madeleinerandall4585 damn I wasn't sure if thats the place I bought my coffee back when I worked in Perth on a Work&Travel visa. Is the Elizabeth Quay paving work still existing??
You should do it at the beach next time
Ben, are you based in Australia? Haven't been back there since before COVID, curious if H&M have branched out that way...
The video was filmed in Perth CBD and yes H&M is in Australia
8:49 Do not insult the chef
Tyler
At 6:27 there is a switch on the briefcase that turns on the magnets in the mats.
Hahaha there is not 😂

Bro can you come to California so I can do that
Cool 🙂
how is your tennis going
Anyone else at the leader day and saw Ben?
Why no new video?
you definitely need big hands :D
Funny. Almost noone is using their legs. And using your legs is a key here.
