- In this video, I walk-through how to create your own techpack and how I created mine. This should help anyone in the streetwear scene that is not sure on how to make a techpack, or anyone new to fashion. After watching this, you'll be able to create your own garment techpack easily.

Edit: The file is a .psd file, meaning it can ONLY be opened with Photoshop. In the top right there should be a download logo when you click the link. Click that and then open the download within Photoshop. :)

How do you put the quantities of how many items you want to the manufacturer to make of a certain size/length, also how do you find a reputable manufacturer.

Hey bro was just wondering if you could maybe make a little video on how to get big images like patterns to fit perfect inside of the mockups. It would help a bunch!
have ur image layer above the shape you want it to fit in and alt click in between the layers
do you send the graphics for the design of the pants separately or is the tech pack mockup enough?

Thanks homie! I actually just zoom in and free hand them with my mouse. You can use the pentool if you want perfect lines though!

So what if you already have an outline of the piece you want and dont want to redo it can you just copy and paste it on to the tech pack instead of needing to “redraw” it

As far as the design on the pants The leaf design to you send that as A pattern directly on the side ? Like you would have to do the logo?
Yes send it separately. I send all my graphics in their own PDF file.

Yes I do. Any graphics I put in a separate PDF then the techpack.

How do you come up with measurements for labels/logos?
I usually compare them with clothes I have already. Then decide if u want it smaller, bigger, or same size
how did u figure out sizing for multiple sizes, also you should really give illustrator a try it will make this whole process so much easier
I actually just posted a video on measurements! I may, but for now photoshop works just fine for me :)
Can you include in some video how can I add project from Adobe Illustrator to your file? Becasue everytime I try adding it it comes up rly messed up
Its a .psd file meant for photoshop. Not sure if it will be 100% compatible with illustrator

I separated the graphics files into a separate PDF then I used for the techpack to make it easier for them! They did the lining up of the graphic when printing it on the denim

How do custom buttons? I wan custom buttons...
If you use a manufacturer, they should be able to create custom buttons for you! Just include it in your techpack and make sure your manufacturer can do it for you. :)

@@victor8287 Points of Measurement. It refers to the next page which is a diagram of those points of measurement. The red arrows have a letter that corresponds back to the measurements page if manufacturer doesn't know what you are referring to

Thanks homie. They actually aren't pages, I make them look like pages though. I group all the layers I want on a page and title the group layer Page 1, Page 2, etc. So if I hide the visibility of a group it will show a different "page"

What is easier for a beginner to use/learn photoshop or illustrator?
I would say photoshop, but I haven’t tried illustrator so I could be wrong

Manufacturer digital printed on cotton denim for them!

@@IamElishaGrant ohh. You cut out the pattern into the shape of the pants and put it under the outline layer. I plan on making a video on how to make a mock-up so that should help as well

some manufacturers don’t really care for the quality they provide you. Especially when looking for it, take it as a red flag when they send you a embroidery piece for example, that looks really bad compared to what you sent, the fact they think it’s okay, as to why they sent it to you, take it as a 🚩
That's why you always order samples first. It may cost you more initially sampling from different manufacturers, but you will get quality before you bulk order.
