It was the best. When underdogs can't level up individually because they are less gifted so they join strengths as a single being - was the best thing for me. That was some creative shit. They were like, "yo gods! We are still here, not backing out and we're gonna beat your asses." Paildramon's first appearance saved my childhood.

It's a common misconception but the dragon uses the bug as a power source to become the dragon soldier. If the dragon somehow managed to evolve without the bug, he would still become the same dragon soldier.
They can also become a wasp with Dragon arms that is supposedly super aggressive. ExVeemon and Stingmon are the only Digimon to my knowledge that have two possible results when they combine. I could be forgetting a pair as Digimon is not 100% consistent with Digivolving trees.
@@MasterArchfiend Well, Dinobeemon would be the result if Stingmon digivolved. If Stingmon was the primary Digimon in the DNA digivolution, they would become Dinobeemon. The same thing can happen with the Shakkumon and Slyphimon too. If Gatomon and Angemon were the primary Digimon in the DNA digivolution, the result would be MagnaAngemon and Angweomon instead.
