Thank you enormously for your time and practical tips! The flair of communicating well-tailored information along with honest recognition of some other phony IELTS instructors' "high band score vocabulary makes you both a gifted educator and decent person. All your points are 100% true, particularly the fact that one should take some time to plan the essay which enables one enough time to stay focused on writing itself. In the meantime, I do think that a test taker still has to generate ideas while writing to cover explanation and evidence part. What do you think? As a person whose native languages are Uzbek and Russian (English is my third learnt language), I along with other hundreds of essay writers find it quite difficult to choose relevant words or collocations while developing any points. The reason for that is we have completely different language patterns, word combinations and sentence structures which makes an English speaker wonder what we mean, indeed. If I elaborate on this even further, we mentally write essay in our languages, then translate them while putting down on paper and what is even worse we think that we have brilliantly accomplished a written work. What would be your perspective in this regard? Thank you for taking time to read this long comment and I welcome any practical advice. By the way, you have a distinctive flair in your pronunciation, especially vowel sounds.
Great lesson! Very nice teaching style. Potentially a bit fast for some IELTS students to understand but great ideas and content 👍
Thank you! It’s tricky balancing viewer retention and conciseness with detailed, slower explanations, I will keep your advice in mind 😁
