I'm glad you said what you did about spreads. I'm fairly new to tarot but I'm over people saying they don't do spreads. I find that ... ostentatious. You are right, they are actually doing spreads even if they are simply comparing two cards. And I love that you validated the single card. That is how I've been really diving into understanding each card. It's my talisman, my voice, lens, energy of the day. Kind of like learning more about a friend. I understand those who say one should always look at tarot cards in comparison, but I don't think that's where I am at right now. I'll get there soon enough.
Yes, if you’re putting a card down it’s a spread. Though I guess the definition of spread is not necessarily set or shared by all 🤔
Even when you’re a really experienced reader, keeping one card “spreads” in your toolbox is a good idea.

Wow!Had no idea we'moon did a deck, so beautiful. While I don't love combo art decks I would love the we moon one because I'm so used to their planners being multi artist.
For tarot my favorite is still Lorenzi-Prince Dark Goddess Tarot. It's just great through and through (my 1st tarot deck ever was motherpeace). Also Mysteries of the Black Madonna is not all Madonna but a goddess archetype deck - while an investment I love it so. Goddess cards (Sedon boulet) and Goddess Oracle (Marashinsky) fave oracles.

Beautiful selection, I really enjoyed you highlighting some decks that I have not seen yet! I can highly recommend the Little Sister Tarot by Ginny Thonson (though it is an indie deck). It definitely taps into the divine feminine for me, even if it does not reference goddesses per se. The artwork just resonates so much. ❤

29:41 the animal on the Devil card, I believe, is a Jackalope. From Google - “One of the rarest animals in the world, it is a cross between a now extinct pygmy-deer and a species of killer-rabbit. However, occasional sightings of this rare creature continue to occur, with small pockets of jackalope populations persisting in the American West.”
I think it’s an appropriate animal for the Devil card. A large Hare with antlers😊

I used to have the Goddess Tarot but mine got badly water damaged so I got rid of it. To be honest, when I did have it I didn't connect very well with. But that was at the beginning of my tarot and pagan journeys. I toy with the idea of getting it again.

❤️ hi neighbour! Whereabouts are you? I’m thinking I’ll get back onto some in person stuff next year (covid basically killed off that part of my work). I’m pretty socially awkward in real life but I’ve found quite a few of us on this path are the same, so it usually works out ok 😂❤️

When we moved on to land, bought our house and had kids I also had to rely on my husband and leave my yacht based career (no way to do that with kids!!)
We also home educate so was quite a journey to earn my own pentacles from home 😅

I’m not sure what the symbols are. I thought they were the fixed astrology signs at first but on closer inspection they’re not quite that. It’s a mystery! ❤️
I've mentioned with my NN in Pisces that I'm working on surrender and part of that is I recently bought the book Life Lessons: Two Experts on Death & Dying Teach Us About the Mysteries of Life & Living by Elisabeth Kubler Ross. I've just started it but so far I'm finding it thought provoking.

Having that NN in Pisces is an interesting placement. Pisces wants to surrender, to lose the self in the All That Is, but then the NN there means by losing self you gain energy and selfhood. Interesting!
I just recieved my first tarot deck last week and I have decided that i would do one card pulls for the week ..I have been doing this with my first oracle deck as well for the last 6 months (in the oracle deck I have pulled two same cards twice now ) and I find by the end of the week I have tried my best at work and have seen small successes starting to happen over this time😊thank you for sharing
