- A must read book for Art Witches of all abilities! This is a new art magic book by art witch (and CZcams witch) Molly Roberts. It's called Rainbow Magick Twelve Creative Color Quests for Art Witches. I think this one is even better than her first book and is actually really useful - even if you don't consider yourself an art witch.

What a unique book capturing the beauty of the colours of the rainbow. 🌈 Im currently exploring the colours of the rainbow through slow stitching a journal wrap (having never been any good at sewing at all) I’m loving finding very contrasting colours that bounce and tones that blend. I can’t wait to finish it, but the idea of slow stitching is that it takes time. I love colour. Thank you for sharing Jessica. 😊

For the clothing section, the color explanations for spring and summer are correct. Like, when you go to “get your colors done” and they tell you you’re a “summer”, that means cooler tones look best on your complexion, same with someone who’s a winter. Spring is warmer tones, just like autumn. But yeah the actual swatches they chose seem off to me too. Love the book though! I’d love to learn some rainbow magic. ❤🌈
Yes, the descriptions are correct but I think they mixed up the swatches. (I’m low key obsessed with colour theory 😂).

I have been slowly working my way through Molly's videos and had just added this book to my wishlist when I saw you were doing a flip through. Thanks for your thoughts on this lovely book! I'm impressed at how detailed she goes in offering different suggestions. I'll have to look into this and her other books, as I'd LOVE to unlock my creative side. I considered myself more of a writer than artist, but perhaps I need to be less narrow in my focus. Also, a psychic told me I need to work with Rainbow Magic, that working with colors is really powerful for me. To, for example, see red when angry, tamper it down with healing white, to make a loving pink. I can only imagine that this book will help me see colors in a more expansive way 🌈 If you do any of these practices, please share. I'm intrigued by how you might take her ideas and expand them further!

The latest bit of rainbow magic we learnt, is that they are actually full circles, not half circles 🌈. Which makes sense when you consider it’s a prism of light filtered through raindrops. You can see the full circle only from higher up - from a plane or with a drone.
