- The next step of the Yamaha Zuma swapped Razz is to get the ignition system straightened out. I did not want to use a battery and because this scoot is for offroad use only, I will not have a need for lights or any other electrical power. Click Show More for schematic.

Exactly what I needed to figure out thanks so much
thanks a million, i was able to wire my adly 90cc 2 stroke with the generic wiring loom because of this video
thank you, awesome job
Nice video!!!
Does this work for that model only of 2 stroke
Excellent 👍
Paul Ford Thanks!
good video but would it not be better and easier to go for the digital ignition off the malaguti and some aeroxs tho ? as for a simple ignition you just plug one multi plug in ?
I'm not sure about better, but it would not have been easier. These were parts I already had so it cost me nothing. I'm running this set up on my swapped razz and my swapped Spree with no issues.
@@texastwostroke9638 yep as where you had the parts its better as free but I was just saying the same can be done with the digital ignition
How many miles you gain with this mod ??
*Edit to clarify*
1. This is not a modification. This is an alternative way to wire an ignition system for 02-'11 yamaha zuma. This does not support lights or a charging system. This is for race or off-road use only. If you are looking to use your zuma for the street, doing this is probably not a good idea.
2. I did not gain any speed from this. It is still using the same CDI and ignition system components. There will be no gain from doing this.
What cid box do you have
Can you please send a link
Hey there! All components are original to the factory harness. I just cut out everything but what is in the video. This is from an 02-11 Yamaha Zuma
Evan Nelson I’m having a problem with mine I have a 04 Zuma 2 stoke trying to do the same type of build you are doing, I have spark gas and compression but it won’t fire off.. any help? I didn’t know if there was some computer thing making it not start
@@lewis5488 If you have spark, I'd try putting a drop of fuel down the cylinder and kicking it over. Don't put too much or you'll hydrolock it.
Evan Nelson no luck that’s why I’m stumped ☹️
@@lewis5488 What is the compression? Did you test it with a gauge? Was it running previously? Is the filter and carb clean, down to the jets?
