She had an incredible voice. Possibly one of the top five in all of pop music. She could hit the notes. I feel for Steve. Life is gonna be very lonely for him after all those years with Eydie. I have many recordings to feed my memories of this wonderful duo. RIP

Great individual performers. Great duo. Simply delightful in every appearance in which I saw them (television). It would have be great to have seen them in person.

I always loved her voice, she was a real dynamo! I was always amazed that such a big voice could come from such a rather small lady! But she could really sing! We miss her, and still love to listen to her recordings.

Over here in the UK, Steve and Eydie weren't that widely known. I had the pleasure of seeing them live at the London Palladium sometime in the 60's{ I think} and they were terrific. They set the audience alight! Since then i have been a great fan, Eydie's passing is a great loss to the Show Business world. I wish Steve Good health for the rest of his years! As someone once said " they were too well liked to be forgotten" Malcolm Lazarus London

Eydie Gorme had a voice that made you smile, one very special lady and entertainer.
To sum up Eydie "Fashion changes, but style endures." She & Steve had it a plenty.

She hadn't a clue about Eydie. Almost mocking. She's disgusting. But, given her age....she could've cared less.

Steve n Eydie kinda music is not called Old School. That is a separate genre for 70s 80s soul and funk. If you called Steve n Eydie's music quite correctly they should be called standards, as they both had interpreted lots of greatest Jewish composers of the big band era as well as Show tunes. Most of their songs belongs to American Songbook category. I am sorry i had make the correction becuz Old School is other music spectrum for Philly and Motown. There was a short lived renaissance of Sinatra, Jack Jones and rat racks all those similiar tones around 2003, where Michael Buble and Josh Groban had attempted to go into the music market. Unfortunately they both had only temporary popularity and faded by end of 2005. If you looking for timeless music, Steve n Eydie, Dino, Sammy Davis, Jack Jones, Nat, Ella, Peggy Lee those artists can last forever.

Chris jones doesnt have a clue. What a disgrace. She was much more than Blame it on the Bossa Nova. She beat Streisand for a fucking Grammy for Best Female Vocalist in 1966 for her tour de force rendition of If He Walked Into My Life. She had several other Billboard charting hot on the pop and AC charts like Tonight ill Say a Prayer and What I did For Love. Howard Reich should have done this spot. Chris Jones did not do proper service to Eydie
