free days, john williams, and lots of covers || noi week 5

monday: july 1st was a nice lil off day for us :D did laundry (very necessary, it’s very hot, sweat a lot …) and off to amc georgetown to go watch inside out 2 :) got dinner and went on a lil walk, had to get my stuff from the clarice but look how pretty the sky was!
tuesday: played some bach following our haydn unconducted brush up rehearsal, filmed a lil cover ahahha my friends wrote me some cards :’))) so sweet so lovely, did some practicing and then some listening in preparation for the john williams music this week (no rehearsal til friday :ooo )
wednesday: national gallery of art day :D loved the sculpture garden! and the art was soooo cool this place was genuinely so awesome and to be able to listen and watch my friends absolutely kill it on their chamber pieces was such a treat (one of the greatest musical experiences i’ve ever had was listening to the brass ensemble play o magnum mysterium in the rotunda, chills in my bones) also zora warming up in the west garden court was so magical, and i recorded another cover lol!
thursday: july 4th ! another off day nice, i filmed ANOTHER cover L O L i really cannot be stopped, joy and i are also officially members at joja mart hehe, america cake ! and karen was very excited about her bubbles LOL we went to dc for fireworks on the washington monument lawn!! super cool :)
friday: first orchestra rehearsal of the week LOL john williams concert! did some charades during lunch break before our second rehearsal, the lighting and production was crazy, they kept putting a spotlight directly on abby’s music LOL
saturday: bagel saturday 😎 so awesome dress rehearsal was such wholesome chaos starting with erica coming out and doing announcements in a blow up dino LOL and then the moon getting stuck because the trombones had to play 🤣 flags and letters for the olympic fanfare! started laundry and edited and got dinner with some family and recorded a cover before the concert :) went in this little water feature to get the feet wet and then made some brownies and finished finding dory! then got to packing
sunday: check out of allegany and travel to chicago dayyyy wahoo
