symphonie fantastique :o || noi week 2

monday: thanks enzo for the ride this morning :) beginning of berlioz rehearsal week ahhh pre-masterclass dinner outside and then was in my head quite a bit so just had to go outside and smack a ball around and blow off some steam
tuesday: chris and his unconventional cream cheese method LOL just some boys havin a good time at lunch after rehearsal sound mind seminar post lunch before woodwind sectionals! practiced, got cfa and then lost in trivia LOL then worked on reeds
wednesday: no morning rehearsal :o introduction of ben duke to the vlog :) lots of napping, took a morning nap because i was tired and in my head and then another one in the afternoon cuz i was still and still in my head :) decided to sit in the concertmaster chair bc i have never sat there and wanted to see what the vibes were (also karen is sitting in a short chair cuz she’s … short!!) look at chris up in the balcony for 3rd mvmt of berlioz :) so cute worked on reeds pre-practice pingpong!
thursday: morning rehearsalllll here’s the 5th mvmt tonguing excerpt lol oof timing was not great lol but we were given comments that made us feel a lil less confident in ourselves, i tired again and then practiced for the new world sub audition and then got groceries with friends!
friday: some cool planties on the way to rehearsal, and guess who was in his head again today :) me!!! (i’m not one to practice with the lights off or with a hood on lol) we had a lil west side story watch party as a ‘fun event’! it was supposed to be outdoors but uhh good thing it wasn’t lol! karen was trying to figure out if we could turn the lights off in the hall also not yun and me taking videos at the same time omg
saturday: new world sub audition + concert day oofies lots of stress goin on but it’s okay, new world didn’t go very well but that’s alright rubbed the turtle’s nose cuz my friend told me to LOL, concert time!
sunday: omelet sunday is back 😎 peter and the wolf performance was super cute :) worked on some reeds yep, trying to get a reed for mahler 1 aslfdhaisfj
