Everyone is gonna have their opinions on this release. Today I cover 10 things that are new in this DLC so that you can make an informed decision if it is worth it for yourself. @@swaggadash9017 biggest criticism of BL2 is that you become overly reliant on slag in endgame. And the legendary selection for like OP levels is too limiting for some people. Never found this an issue tho as I played Sal, and we all know how broken Sal is.

Borderlands franchise has turned into make men as stupid and as incompetent as by any stretch of imagination possible - and WAY beyond that - and women into oh... my... frikn!... GOD... AWESOME (for no good reason whatsoever, or any logic save for ohh.. but they're women aka infaliable and omnipotent) characters who do nothing but are somehow being awesome and credited for the success... Ava comes first to mind... what an epic failure... whoever was involved in creating her character or having ANYTHING to do within the game and saying yeah it;s OK to haveher in the game should be sacked and left low & dry... and this is me being "sensitive". Could go on an on about how Maya - and about any other female character in the base game - has no impact on the story line. The whole BL3 is nothing about but them w0m3n being strong and independent... while actually failing at each and every step of the way. Men are 99.99% of the GBX customers ...in BL3 GBX makes any and every possible attempt to portray men as weak, stupid and incompetent... as opposed to women who are "godlike" just because they are.... "mansplaining" as it gets... GBX, just keep doing this as you do and... there well might be no DLC7 or BL4... or no men willing to spend their hard-earned cash on your men-hating products.
@@yorukage5926 They could have also sweetened the pot by having bonus gear when starting up wonderlands if you have a save file of the dragon keep one shot. They did the same for TPS when you had saves from BL and BL2
The jack collection is the better deal . Sure this is free on epic but not everyone is a fan of epic . To each their own though . Makes me kinda wanta play 2 some more again.
Honestly, if this was free everywhere with cross-play I may have actually been able to convince some friends who have never played borderlands to get wonderlands.
yeah its a shame its only for epic users. as a hallmark to wonderland being epic exclusive for a full year. you friends are better off waiting for a sale.

@@dracobellator1164 I knew Exactly what you were talking about. I Know what an Epic or Steam or XBox or PS2 and a half Exclusive IS. My point is why deal with any of that BS at all when the file is there, waiting to be downloaded at any time, you just have to know where and it's a cinch to find out. Jon there could still get the game even if he's not an Epic fan that caught it on launch. You could have given Jon better advice but you didn't know. Oh, I didn't spend a dime on the game, that would be silly.
@@DivergentDroid Except that its not worth my time nor my money nor the effort. i already own Borderlands 2 and all its DLC all they did was carve out Tina's DLC and lower the level cap to 35. this is a money grubbing scheme if i'd ever seen one. if you can't see that your the blind whales they are looking for.
Got a level 1 norfleet from that interactive thing before bl3 came out. I've played this dlc so much that new skins and heads ain't really enough to justify double dipping unfortunately.

Tho , adding to your point, if you got a pc , you get it for free if you get it right now on epic store, so there is indeed no justification NOT getting it while it`s still hot. Even if you don`t plan to play it right now, you will still have it there in your library for free. so i don`t know why people are making such a big fuss over it lol
@@ZelosSama it cost money on steam and epics store and launcher suck ass in comparison. Also the changes made dont really have much of an impact. "New unicorn chest" just re-skin of the golden chest. "New opening cut scene" not really anything great. "New kite shields" kind of cool and deserves a point. Unlocking action skill at level 2 and getting 2 points per level isn't anything massive either so no points there. This game just doesn't get many points to make it worth 10$ especially when it does cost 10$ meaning it starts out at -1 points and probably only get 1-2 points max

Difference is if this was a free title forever not just on 1 launcher and for a week I wouldn't call it a cash grab just a mediorce at best title. And I bought the goty edition for like under 10$ on steam. So I got 4 dlc the game itself as well as the pre order bonuses for way cheaper than 1 dlc. Its not that the price is high its that the game isn't worth it. I mean like this video says though. If all you're looking for is for some reason to play this 1 dlc of borderlands and you've never played borderlands before which is strange to start out on a dlc of a character you know nothing of with a backstory and history you also know nothing of and you're just looking for a quick 2 hour long session then sure this title would be decent. To anybody else this is just a cash grab. Even to some people who have never played borderlands 2 this is still a cash grab. I mean why release a game on steam and make it cost money when epic gets it for free and the point of the game is to hype up wonderlands/introduce people to that game a game that won't even be on steam till half a year after its release on epic. Gearbox/Randy is literally spitting in the faces of any steam user with this.
I’m so enjoying this for the different feel as we start from Level 1. I got a Terramorphous shotgun from the first Duke of Ork, then a level 10 Swordsplosion… mad fun to one-shot those skellies 😊
Hinestly they should've just done an update for the handsome collection and this just be the new version of the dlc. They already offer the instant leveling to lol 30 for the commander Lilith dlc. Just add all this new stuff minus the remade bane and face mcshooty quests and I guarantee this would've gotten people more hyped than this $10 stand alone dlc. And before I see one comment saying "BuT iT's FrEe," that's only on the epic gamestore and not everyone plays on pc. And the fact that it wasn't free for everyone for a limited time is bs
You say you're only 12 hours in and having fun?? Yea but you also said like a year or so ago that BL3 is your first borderlands game ever, or right around the start of your channel if I remember correctly, but for someone like myself that's played BL2 on both ps3 (level 50 cap) and ps4 (level 80 op10 cap) this stand alone title isn't worth the $10 price tag especially when I have the ps4 handsome collection and have played through tiny Tina DLC like a billion times and farming the ancient dragons a billion times for blockades, skins, heads, easy eridium, and the dedicated gun drops from them, so yea you might be having fun considering you've never played BL2 but for people like myself it's not worth it.
Got it free on Epic and I've been very happy so far. This was my favorite BL2 DLC and it's totally fun to play it from a new build standpoint. Previously, I really only played it with high level characters. Also, that new Maya head is wicked-cool.
@@MtpMuzik perhaps you miss the reason so many people are upset in the first place. firstly the "free on Epic" has since ended. Second this is literally existing content carved out of a bigger game. (of which the bigger games is cheaper to buy) and sold as a separate product. a spit in the face of those loyal fans who've been fallowing Borderlands since the original. this is like carving content out of a game and selling it as DLC but worse. not to mention the numerous bugs and glitches and the thread bare content. this is vary much a valid criticism.
Personally think it would of been much better for them to port this to BL3 instead so new people can still experience the dlc, actually play with a similar movement system, and of course stimulate sales of bl3 a little more.
the mimics fuckin freak me out EVERY gods damn time. The first time I wasn't expecting it, got real close as I opened up the chest to see the loot, then fuckin bam, monster trying to eat me and scared rapid firing at it. The second was even worse, because I was aware now, had my pistol pointed at the chest and taking shots at it to be safe, it doesn't move and I'm now almost sure it isn't a mimic, but I still have my gun on it, open it up and start taking steps back and it still somehow scares the shit out of me. I was not expecting jumpscares out of borderlands.
Even if this is made for new players, Handsome Jack Collection is always super cheap and literally $10 right now on PSN. This definitely isn't worth it since even if you can get a norfleet easily, you only have a single campaign to use it on (which is a good length).
I've never played borderlands but a friend got me this so we could play it together. Loads of fun and it's definitely piqued my interest for borderlands. For £4 in the sale it's a real bargain.

They for sure made a huge mistake not releasing this on borderlands 3. It would’ve been a perfect way to show off a little wonderlands stuff and it would actually be relevant. I love Assualt on Dragons Keep but there just wasn’t enough “newness” to this release.
1. they physically can't do that. 2.the disparity between bl2 and bl3 is there for a reason. 3. yeah this "Game" is corporate shill garbage as a last hurrah from randy before he moves to their cinematic division.
See the new additions are cool but what's the point? Why would I bother grinding for the new stuff they should've added this as an update to the handsome collection even for new players because the handsome collection is on sale constantly for less than this standalone
I am fairly sure this stand alone was released as a form of advertisement, to catch people up on the plot, and to revitalize attention for the tiny tina focused game coming out soon. Likely the only reason its not free everywhere is because of a deal they made with epic.
@@alexf0723 That does not conflict with what I said in the slightest. Ads are meant to draw in new people for a new product, the handsome collection is a full time investment and only really being bought by old players and the friends of old players at this point.
This is pathetic. They gave away the Handsome Collection on PS Plus a few years ago that included Borderlands 2 and Pre-sequel with all the DLC, including this one.

I dont mind that they made it seperate. We have Tiny Tinas Wonderland...and so this kinda set up the mood for that by letting you replay the original Assault on Dragons Keep, without having to go through the trouble of dealing with Borderlands 2. If you wanted to play Assault on Dragons Keep, you had to play the base game of Borderlands 2, and build your character up and stuff. This just allows you to play it without all the long grinding and playtime that it takes.
I know I'm an exception, but I play this dlc a few times a year and this is a dream game for me. I love BL2, but didn't like leveling just to play this, even with the new ability to start at lvl. 30, it was still not ideal. I'm loving it so far. I totally get why most people won't be interested and I think it would be cool as an addition to the original game or BL3, but this was definitely worth $10 for me. Not sure if the game will accomplish its objective for the company, but they made at least 1 person very happy.
you act like you're not the one looking for modded boosting lobbies, lvling was never the problem nor was it ever a chore except the last 10 15 lvls before op, the real problem was with character nerfs that narrowed the meta or amount of builds like slag and bee. There are ton of pvp and co op p2ws go play em stop dumbing down games for casuals and lazy bums.
@@dreadequation7320 I play mostly on Series X these days, so I can't access most of the modding community easily. I'm just saying that this was my favorite content in this very old game. It wasn't convenient to jump back in to one of my favorite games to play my favorite content without investing more time than I have these days. I was okay with the level requirement the first dozen or so times I played through it as part of the normal game. It made sense given the story of the base game and DLC. It's just a great option to have this spin off (for me at least) so I can relive my favorite content as fast as possible. I do think it would have been better for most people to have added this content to the base game. I also agree that the end game balancing is too skewed toward certain builds and playstyles. While Borderlands 2 has some of my favorite content, it is one of my least favorite end game experiences in the franchises because of what you said. I don't run into those issues as much in any other Borderlands game. 3 might actually be an okay balance being able to choose how hard your end game experience is and making it more rewarding for those looking for more challenge. It's not perfect, but I like that idea. Like, everyone can "participate" but it's better if you're doing it the more difficult way. It might need more mayhem levels if anything.

Though i didnt play much of bl3 so i cant speak on that but bl1 is much better than bl2 and the presequel (same secario bit better scailing but less opportunites to farm) in terms of endgame. Like theres more to do in bl2 but the difficulty is straight up bs and not fun at all. In bl1 you can run through any area farm any location with chests tho the armory and crawmerax are of course your best bet because of pearls. Also the loot is a lot better and more diverse too from what i experienced playing on and off the last decade. Youre actually looking for good purples as well as legendaries and pearls.
I feel like this should have been a dlc for Borderlands3, tiny tina playing an echo recording of her old match in a movie theater on Sanctuary 3. Basically home movie cuts replacing borderlands 2 VH with the B3 VHunters.
Got it for cheap on the franchise sale on steam. Worth it just for a quick, slightly different playthrough than the original. Also: the cosmetics are dope af.
Yeah, it should at least be free if you already own BL2. If they're charging for it, they probably should've added more new stuff But that said, I bought it on Xbox One and I'm playing it with a friend, and we're having a lot of fun, so it's worth it to us. Plays beautifully except somewhat frequent connectivity problems, but we've had that issue with all Borderlands games
This seems like something that should have been free for anyone who purchased the expansion before. I guess maybe people who bought the game bundled with DLC on the Xbox One/PS4 could still be charged for it.
I'd feel better if they just implement all this into the base game of Handsome Collection. Not wasting my time with a rehashed content sold separately.
the reception should only be negative. it should have been the handsome jack collection given out again with them making changes so you can start that dlc first.
I have a question. I know AoDK was quite distinct in BL2, however, do you guys also notice how it is also more advanced and demanding on your pc? I play on laptop and the base game and any other expansions do not make my laptop any hotter aside of Dragon Keep. I do notice the destructible vases, etc., much more resemble the ones in Borderlands 3 and I for one see that DLC having much more moving parts than the base game had.
So my Borderlands 2 on Xbox One got corrupted and I lost all my badass rank, skins, heads, and golden keys. And got no help from gearbox. So I've had no reason to go back to it. I entirely didn't know this was a thing. Gearbox's pr hard-core dropped the ball there.
I could definitely see the appeal to this because I want to buy it, however, if you're new to Borderlands 2, I would suggest waiting for the GOTY Edition of BL2 to go on sale. It has all 4 dlc's and I believe it's 10 or 15 dollars, but you can also buy this because there are things in this that aren't in the base game. I'm definitely grabbing this myself! (That's 10 or 15 on steam, I unfortunately have no idea what prices it would be on sale for you console players)
Gonna be honest i rather buy the borderland 2 handsome collection due because more content and i know this is a somewhat new remaster of the dlc but very limited to do after hour of grind and sidequest

I managed to fight the 4 dragons at level 30 on playthrough 1 from the mission Torge gives you was the most stressful thing because every weapon is trash in that game in my opinion they need to bring up damage on golden weapons so they are worth getting and a playthrough 3 with possibley over powered leveling and they should add new locations to explore in my opinion so it can feel like its own thing and worth having.
I don't care at all that they're charging 10 bucks. I always get the urge to play this DLC, but then I have to level up a character in the base game first to a level high enough to start the DLC. This way I can just fire up the DLC at level 1 and I will be able to get my build quicker too. Nobody is forcing you to buy this.... I love everything about this DLC and whenever I get the urge to play BL2, I always want a playthrough of the DLC and not have to go through the horrible long ass intro. Seriously, it takes like over an hour to get the game more or less started.
while this is by far the best DLC, it feels.... forced. I have over 1k hours in B2, maxed out chars and I still play it. But I am kinda mad, this should be either like update for B2 DLC (payed for, no problem) or.. ported as DLC to B3 as is, but playable with B3 characters. I love it, but it feels like 10 euros for head cosmetics and not being able to port that to BL2 is... unfortunate.
when I saw all the posts gearbox and borderlands have made on it on instagram and twitter, I just thought this was tiny tina but for borderlands 3, but seeing how the game is 60 dollars, and it's just the tiny tina dlc with a few additions, kinda bums me out

I've been having a blast with this game. I finished B-2 and I remember Tiny Tina's Wonderland being level 30 for me. My character was maybe 15 at the time I got off the boat the 1st time and of course I got hammered. Every couple levels, I would come back and get a little further until I was around 25 and killing a majority of enemies (enough to level off of them and get even deeper). I'm playing as the Mechromancer now because its different from what I'm used to. And its weird because most of my enemies have been scaled well below my level. I'm 15 now and only a handful of enemies have been above level 12.
Idk how I feel about moxies opinion on anything about bl2, I feel like he rarely plays it and it’s nothing personal against him but I just don’t think he has the most expertise on bl2
He played it out back In the day on ps3 all characters to lv 72 op8 buy he didn't play much after that, he is seasoned in the game I'd say but he's not a Joltzdude for bl2 :P
Hard pass on me. I in no way against an idea like this. A good plus side is that friends whom have never played borderlands get to try borderlands for the first time and have a good time. I can understand why they did it. Just a plain old marketing. But it is seriously poorly marketed. I’m fine if they don’t add any content at all. But to charge 10 bucks for this when handsome collection is way more bang for the buck? Even they themselves know it too. I pretty sure they might just say “all 4 main dlcs are 8 bucks on release so why can this be 10?” On release it is a really buggy mess. I have heard people crashing non stop. That’s on gearbox to fix it Back then commander’s Lilith purpose was simply to introduce old fans back to the game whom never really cared about tales from the borderlands and serve as an apppetizer (both story wise and gameplay wise) to bl3. That was a nice touch on GB part. It was also to entice individuals to get bl2 regardless of which storefront. The best part, there was still an epic exclusivity and they gave the dlc free on steam (sorry console players). Now I am not gonna say that this tiny Tina stand-alone should contain a slot of new content. I’m happy if they did but I would rather them to polish the gameplay of wonderlands during this covid season. Even in a non laden covid society, with a tight frame before wonderlands is released I am understandable of the level of new content released. Why not make it y’know free like epic for a period of time on steam? And then charging 10 bucks. Right now, GB dealt a very poor hand in PR ironically with this release of the dlc. A solution is seriously just to make it free for a period of time for all platforms and fix the bugs.
One of the main reasons I enjoy it so much is because you just start off at level 1 in such a good story, it's nice being able to build your character without having to go through the story of borderlands 2 again.
I'm going to guess that new stuff for BL3 is about done. Got a new card coming anyway, not sure what else then. Wonderlands comes out in March, I believe
For only 10 bucks, I think the DLC is worth it. If you have friends that have never played BL2, this is a cheap but effective introduction to how the game works and the general feel of it. And hey! If your friends like the DLC, it could be enough for them to buy the Handsome Jack or Legendary editions of the series!
Should you buy it: Yes if: You haven’t played the original dlc You haven’t played bl2 You don’t care what people say and are buying it anyway You want more Borderlands No if: You’ve played plenty of the dlc, it’s $10 for the same content shuffled around with the additions in the game. You won’t get it free because you don’t use epic.

I love borderlands 2 but I never got a character max. The grind is insane and loot becomes useless because it becomes irrelevant after a few levels.

My point is why deal with any of that BS at all when the file is there, waiting to be downloaded at any time, you just have to know where and it's a cinch to find out. I've played this dlc so much that new skins and heads ain't really enough to justify double dipping unfortunately.

@@ZelosSama it cost money on steam and epics store and launcher suck ass in comparison. Also the changes made dont really have much of an impact. "New unicorn chest" just re-skin of the golden chest. "New opening cut scene" not really anything great. "New kite shields" kind of cool and deserves a point. Unlocking action skill at level 2 and getting 2 points per level isn't anything massive either so no points there. This game just doesn't get many points to make it worth 10$ especially when it does cost 10$ meaning it starts out at -1 points and probably only get 1-2 points max

Difference is if this was a free title forever not just on 1 launcher and for a week I wouldn't call it a cash grab just a mediorce at best title. Its not that the price is high its that the game isn't worth it. I mean like this video says though. If all you're looking for is for some reason to play this 1 dlc of borderlands and you've never played borderlands before which is strange to start out on a dlc of a character you know nothing of with a backstory and history you also know nothing of and you're just looking for a quick 2 hour long session then sure this title would be decent. Hinestly they should've just done an update for the handsome collection and this just be the new version of the dlc. They already offer the instant leveling to lol 30 for the commander Lilith dlc. Just add all this new stuff minus the remade bane and face mcshooty quests and I guarantee this would've gotten people more hyped than this $10 stand alone dlc. And before I see one comment saying "BuT iT's FrEe," that's only on the epic gamestore and not everyone plays on pc. And the fact that it wasn't free for everyone for a limited time is bs

You say you're only 12 hours in and having fun?? Yea but you also said like a year or so ago that BL3 is your first borderlands game ever, or right around the start of your channel if I remember correctly, but for someone like myself that's played BL2 on both ps3 (level 50 cap) and ps4 (level 80 op10 cap) this stand alone title isn't worth the $10 price tag especially when I have the ps4 handsome collection and have played through tiny Tina DLC like a billion times and farming the ancient dragons a billion times for blockades, skins, heads, easy eridium, and the dedicated gun drops from them, so yea you might be having fun considering you've never played BL2 but for people like myself it's not worth it.

Got it free on Epic and I've been very happy so far. This was my favorite BL2 DLC and it's totally fun to play it from a new build standpoint. Previously, I really only played it with high level characters. Also, that new Maya head is wicked-cool.

Personally think it would of been much better for them to port this to BL3 instead so new people can still experience the dlc, actually play with a similar movement system, and of course stimulate sales of bl3 a little more.

the mimics fuckin freak me out EVERY gods damn time. The first time I wasn't expecting it, got real close as I opened up the chest to see the loot, then fuckin bam, monster trying to eat me and scared rapid firing at it.
The second was even worse, because I was aware now, had my pistol pointed at the chest and taking shots at it to be safe, it doesn't move and I'm now almost sure it isn't a mimic, but I still have my gun on it, open it up and start taking steps back and it still somehow scares the shit out of me.
I was not expecting jumpscares out of borderlands.

Even if this is made for new players, Handsome Jack Collection is always super cheap and literally $10 right now on PSN. This definitely isn't worth it since even if you can get a norfleet easily, you only have a single campaign to use it on (which is a good length).

I've never played borderlands but a friend got me this so we could play it together. Loads of fun and it's definitely piqued my interest for borderlands. For £4 in the sale it's a real bargain.

They for sure made a huge mistake not releasing this on borderlands 3. It would’ve been a perfect way to show off a little wonderlands stuff and it would actually be relevant. I love Assualt on Dragons Keep but there just wasn’t enough “newness” to this release.

I am fairly sure this stand alone was released as a form of advertisement, to catch people up on the plot, and to revitalize attention for the tiny tina focused game coming out soon. Likely the only reason its not free everywhere is because of a deal they made with epic.

We have Tiny Tinas Wonderland...and so this kinda set up the mood for that by letting you replay the original Assault on Dragons Keep, without having to go through the trouble of dealing with Borderlands 2.
If you wanted to play Assault on Dragons Keep, you had to play the base game of Borderlands 2, and build your character up and stuff. This just allows you to play it without all the long grinding and playtime that it takes.
I know I'm an exception, but I play this dlc a few times a year and this is a dream game for me. I love BL2, but didn't like leveling just to play this, even with the new ability to start at lvl. 30, it was still not ideal. I'm loving it so far.
I totally get why most people won't be interested and I think it would be cool as an addition to the original game or BL3, but this was definitely worth $10 for me. Not sure if the game will accomplish its objective for the company, but they made at least 1 person very happy.

you act like you're not the one looking for modded boosting lobbies, lvling was never the problem nor was it ever a chore except the last 10 15 lvls before op, the real problem was with character nerfs that narrowed the meta or amount of builds like slag and bee. There are ton of pvp and co op p2ws go play em stop dumbing down games for casuals and lazy bums.
@@dreadequation7320 I play mostly on Series X these days, so I can't access most of the modding community easily. I'm just saying that this was my favorite content in this very old game. It wasn't convenient to jump back in to one of my favorite games to play my favorite content without investing more time than I have these days. I was okay with the level requirement the first dozen or so times I played through it as part of the normal game. It made sense given the story of the base game and DLC.
It's just a great option to have this spin off (for me at least) so I can relive my favorite content as fast as possible. I do think it would have been better for most people to have added this content to the base game. I also agree that the end game balancing is too skewed toward certain builds and playstyles. While Borderlands 2 has some of my favorite content, it is one of my least favorite end game experiences in the franchises because of what you said. I don't run into those issues as much in any other Borderlands game. 3 might actually be an okay balance being able to choose how hard your end game experience is and making it more rewarding for those looking for more challenge. It's not perfect, but I like that idea. Like, everyone can "participate" but it's better if you're doing it the more difficult way. It might need more mayhem levels if anything.

Though i didnt play much of bl3 so i cant speak on that but bl1 is much better than bl2 and the presequel (same secario bit better scailing but less opportunites to farm) in terms of endgame. Like theres more to do in bl2 but the difficulty is straight up bs and not fun at all. In bl1 you can run through any area farm any location with chests tho the armory and crawmerax are of course your best bet because of pearls. Also the loot is a lot better and more diverse too from what i experienced playing on and off the last decade. Youre actually looking for good purples as well as legendaries and pearls.

I feel like this should have been a dlc for Borderlands3, tiny tina playing an echo recording of her old match in a movie theater on Sanctuary 3. Basically home movie cuts replacing borderlands 2 VH with the B3 VHunters.

I have a question. I know AoDK was quite distinct in BL2, however, do you guys also notice how it is also more advanced and demanding on your pc? I play on laptop and the base game and any other expansions do not make my laptop any hotter aside of Dragon Keep. I do notice the destructible vases, etc., much more resemble the ones in Borderlands 3 and I for one see that DLC having much more moving parts than the base game had.

So my Borderlands 2 on Xbox One got corrupted and I lost all my badass rank, skins, heads, and golden keys. And got no help from gearbox. So I've had no reason to go back to it. I entirely didn't know this was a thing. Gearbox's pr hard-core dropped the ball there.

I could definitely see the appeal to this because I want to buy it, however, if you're new to Borderlands 2, I would suggest waiting for the GOTY Edition of BL2 to go on sale. It has all 4 dlc's and I believe it's 10 or 15 dollars, but you can also buy this because there are things in this that aren't in the base game. I'm definitely grabbing this myself! (That's 10 or 15 on steam, I unfortunately have no idea what prices it would be on sale for you console players)

I managed to fight the 4 dragons at level 30 on playthrough 1 from the mission Torge gives you was the most stressful thing because every weapon is trash in that game in my opinion they need to bring up damage on golden weapons so they are worth getting and a playthrough 3 with possibley over powered leveling and they should add new locations to explore in my opinion so it can feel like its own thing and worth having.

I don't care at all that they're charging 10 bucks. I always get the urge to play this DLC, but then I have to level up a character in the base game first to a level high enough to start the DLC. This way I can just fire up the DLC at level 1 and I will be able to get my build quicker too. Nobody is forcing you to buy this.... I love everything about this DLC and whenever I get the urge to play BL2, I always want a playthrough of the DLC and not have to go through the horrible long ass intro. Seriously, it takes like over an hour to get the game more or less started.
while this is by far the best DLC, it feels.... forced. I have over 1k hours in B2, maxed out chars and I still play it. But I am kinda mad, this should be either like update for B2 DLC (payed for, no problem) or.. ported as DLC to B3 as is, but playable with B3 characters.
I love it, but it feels like 10 euros for head cosmetics and not being able to port that to BL2 is... unfortunate.

I've been having a blast with this game. I finished B-2 and I remember Tiny Tina's Wonderland being level 30 for me. My character was maybe 15 at the time I got off the boat the 1st time and of course I got hammered. Every couple levels, I would come back and get a little further until I was around 25 and killing a majority of enemies (enough to level off of them and get even deeper). I'm playing as the Mechromancer now because its different from what I'm used to. And its weird because most of my enemies have been scaled well below my level. I'm 15 now and only a handful of enemies have been above level 12.

A good plus side is that friends whom have never played borderlands get to try borderlands for the first time and have a good time.

On release it is a really buggy mess. I have heard people crashing non stop. That’s on gearbox to fix it
Back then commander’s Lilith purpose was simply to introduce old fans back to the game whom never really cared about tales from the borderlands and serve as an apppetizer (both story wise and gameplay wise) to bl3. That was a nice touch on GB part. It was also to entice individuals to get bl2 regardless of which storefront.
The best part, there was still an epic exclusivity and they gave the dlc free on steam (sorry console players).
Now I am not gonna say that this tiny Tina stand-alone should contain a slot of new content. I’m happy if they did but I would rather them to polish the gameplay of wonderlands during this covid season. Even in a non laden covid society, with a tight frame before wonderlands is released I am understandable of the level of new content released.
Why not make it y’know free like epic for a period of time on steam? And then charging 10 bucks.
Right now, GB dealt a very poor hand in PR ironically with this release of the dlc.
A solution is seriously just to make it free for a period of time for all platforms and fix the bugs.
One of the main reasons I enjoy it so much is because you just start off at level 1 in such a good story, it's nice being able to build your character without having to go through the story of borderlands 2 again.

For only 10 bucks, I think the DLC is worth it. If you have friends that have never played BL2, this is a cheap but effective introduction to how the game works and the general feel of it.
And hey! If your friends like the DLC, it could be enough for them to buy the Handsome Jack or Legendary editions of the series!

Yes if:
You haven’t played the original dlc
You haven’t played bl2
You don’t care what people say and are buying it anyway
You want more Borderlands
No if:
You’ve played plenty of the dlc, it’s $10 for the same content shuffled around with the additions in the game.
You won’t get it free because you don’t use epic.

I’m excited because I wasn’t able to get any dlc on bl2 because I couldn’t afford any, so this will be fun for me on pc.
I've always wanted to play bl and now this is for free 😁 it is time to give it a try it seems crazy fun
