Dongo Kundu Bypass opening pushed to May 2024

The opening of the Dongo Kundu bypass has been pushed to May this year, due to delays in disbursement of funds. The 24 billion shillings project was slated to be opened on the 12th of March 2024, boosting business between Mombasa and Kwale Counties. The project which is 95 percent complete is funded by the governments of Kenya and Japan.

So demoralizing, very day deadline is pushed further, it's killing our spirit. That commitment is still fresh in our memories, the president falsely promised to see to it that in 6 months' time we shall see activities among them production plant for motor bikes, this was last year. More than the promised timeline and still even the road is not operational!!!!!
